What do you like best about Calendly?

I find Calendly very easy to use, which is valuable because it minimizes setup complexity and removes friction for both the host and the invitee. I appreciate its low-friction user interface, which allows invitees to see available time slots clearly rendered in an interactive calendar grid. I also like the automatic time zone translation feature that eliminates scheduling confusion across different time zones. It's great that invitees don't need to sign up or log into an account to book a meeting; they simply enter their name and email, making the process very smooth. What do you dislike about Calendly?

While Calendly is an industry standard for individual and basic team scheduling, several functional gaps, rigid defaults, and missing features frequently create friction in complex or non-standard workflows. For individuals managing multiple roles or consulting for different clients, Calendly only allows you to select a single account to send outbound meeting invites from, which causes confusion when the meeting needs to originate from a specific client's email domain. Invitees cannot book recurring sessions in one go, adding friction for long-term engagements. Calendly displays all available slots based on static rules, leading to fragmented days, unlike competitors offering a 'Minimize Gaps' feature. Coordinating meetings with multiple stakeholders can be clunky compared to tools like Doodle. You can't easily override a busy slot for urgent bookings without adjusting global settings.
