What do you like best about Buildxact?

It is easy to use, allows you to create estimates, convert them into purchase orders, track variations, and monitor your margins. It is a great product for our building company and has helped streamline the way we manage projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buildxact?

I am not sure the margin calculation is correct, as GST should not be calculated on the margin.

It would also be helpful to have the option to lock in a fixed dollar margin amount, spread across the estimate, rather than only being able to apply a percentage margin.

In addition, estimating notes should flow through onto the purchase orders, as these notes often contain specific details about how items are to be ordered or supplied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Buildxact solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am unaware of anything being resolved by buildxact, we spoke about the margin calculation issue, but not being resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
