"Efficient for Field Operations but Needs Better Asset Structuring"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BuildOps?

I like the inspection checklist with photos tied to assets because it makes things really easy for us. I can pull a full inspection history quickly, which is valuable for insurance purposes. We used to sift through a lot of emails to find dated proof, but now everything is searchable with just a few keystrokes, letting us produce what insurers need in a minute. What do you dislike about BuildOps?

I find the setup a bit awkward, especially handling sites with multiple fields like in a single school complex which can have several fields, gyms, and bleacher sections. The structure doesn't nest well, requiring us to use long asset names to keep things organized. I'd really like an improvement to introduce a multi-level asset hierarchy such as complex, then field, then components, allowing service agreements and history to roll up to the complex level. The initial setup was also quite long, taking about 8 weeks, partly due to loading around 120 customer sites and their assets since our data was spread across spreadsheets and emails. Our onboarding contact was knowledgeable in field service but not specifically in sports facilities, so we had to explain specific terms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
