The best part of Buildertrend for me is the daily logs. They make it easy to document my site visits, take photos, and keep both my team and the client updated at the same time. I can snap pictures and upload them right from the jobsite, which helps keep everything current and organized. I’m also able to assign tasks directly from my phone, which is really convenient when I’m on the go. Overall, the app runs quickly and has been reliable for me. The main technology I feel Buildertrend is missing is the ability to upload plans and generate rendered views for the homeowner. Right now, we have to rely on outside programs or other people to handle that for us, and it can get expensive. In that area, they seem a little behind.

That said, the programs we’ve seen that offer that kind of AI aren’t as robust as Buildertrend when it comes to time clock management and overall project management. We’ve tried other options and ultimately found that we prefer BT. Pricing also seems comparable to the other options we’ve looked at and tested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
