Brighthire has been a great partner for us because it takes care of many of the legal and compliance considerations around privacy, as well as video and transcription storage. It’s also been invaluable for our interviewers, helping them submit scorecards faster and provide more thoughtful, insightful feedback. There have been one or two instances where the interviewer and candidate were mixed up in the transcription and notes; meaning the AI didn’t clearly identify who was speaking. Another drawback is that many of our interviewers are used to a more narrative style rather than bullet points, so we’ve had to coach our interviewers on how to use the tool efficiently without losing their voice. For those just starting to use Brighthire, some times the block within the video interview can be distracting. Although, after a few interviews, that generally dissipates.
