## Brandfolder Reviews
  ### 1. Enhances Asset Organization with Seamless Search

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James M. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like Brandfolder for the much better organization of our assets compared to storing them locally on computer folders. The easy ability to search and find assets is also a big plus for me. There's tons of metadata that makes searching easy, and it even scans text on assets I've uploaded, allowing me to search for keywords and bring up any assets that have that text in the image. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

It can sometimes be a little slow to load previews of assets.

**Recommendations to others considering Brandfolder:**

Give a little bit of a break, maybe develop more things for customers who are already paying a ton. Some addons IMO really don't feel as though they warrant being paid for. That's just one person's opinion. I will give bonus points for the fact that I've seen support react very quickly to bugs or glitches and patching the platform. That's nothing something I can say I've really ever seen from other products I've used in the past.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder organizes our assets much better than local storage and makes searching easy with metadata and text scanning on assets.

  ### 2. Brandfolder: Simplifies Asset Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom G. | Director of Web Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I find Brandfolder to be a huge timesaver, especially for locating appropriate images for web design and marketing initiatives. The image embedding feature is fantastic because it allows me to make changes to an image without having to reupload it to multiple sites. I love the extremely logical user interface and the organizational flexibility that lets us customize workflows to fit our needs. The brand portal is perfect for providing necessary assets to other departments. I appreciate how Brandfolder facilitated organizational adoption during our onboarding period. Their support team was also very helpful, meeting with us to help us get to the next level when we faced difficulties. Overall, I am highly satisfied with Brandfolder.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

The tagging and metadata structure is quite different from what we were used to; the nested folder style. So that was a big adjustment.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder is a huge timesaver for locating images and allows changes without reuploads. The user interface is logical, offering flexible workflows and the brand portal aids in sharing assets across departments.

  ### 3. Highly Effective for Branding Control, Needs Improved Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris R. | Creative Freelancer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I use Brandfolder to distribute branded templates to field teams and appreciate how it allows me to store reusable assets for non-creative team members. I like the level of control it gives me without requiring me to be hands-on all the time. Brandfolder lets me create user groups and assign distinct roles, allowing tight access control. The ability to use the same distribution platform and set usage dates for assets is a major plus. I rely heavily on the Print UI plugin in InDesign to easily create templates. The initial setup was fairly simple for an enterprise software.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

The reporting functionality is limited. And, there are ways to use the platform for works in progress, but they're not very intuitive.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Brandfolder to store reusable assets and distribute them to non-creative team members without compliance issues. It lets me control access with user groups and roles, and set usage dates, which helps manage branded materials effectively.

  ### 4. Streamlined Asset Management with Top-Notch Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie M. | Manager, Influencer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I love how Brandfolder makes it so easy to use, share externally, and organize thousands of digital assets. The product is head and shoulders better than what we used before. It's way easier to use, more powerful, and better supports the volume of content we have, offering better and more straightforward rights management.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Sometimes search can be a bit picky, but I think that's mostly due to how some of our files are named. I think if it was more intuitive.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Brandfolder keeps thousands of digital assets accessible and organized. It's easy to use, share, and manage rights. It's more powerful and supports a higher volume of content compared to our previous tool.

  ### 5. Easy Integrations and Solid Support, but Board Sharing Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather T. | Social Media Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like the ability for integration with other platforms. It is easy enough to use and manage with limited performance issues and support available.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

It would be great to be able to share boards for projects with other users, rather than downloading and sending externally or tagging specifically.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a simple platform for an formal image library. The integration with Canva is greatly appreciated.

  ### 6. Streamlined Asset Management with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven M. | Account Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I love using Brandfolder to access and download all the assets I need daily. It's my go-to place to quickly find the latest images, templates, and brand guidelines without worrying if the files are up to date. I find it easy to search and get the right versions, which prevents the hassle of digging through emails or shared drives. I appreciate that it eliminates confusion about file versions, assuring me that I'm using the most up-to-date and approved materials. The search and filter tools are great for quickly finding the right assets, and everything is organized and up-to-date, which greatly increases my efficiency. I also like the clean interface and that I can download files in the formats I need without extra steps. The initial setup was straightforward and well-guided, clearly showing how to access files with clear organization.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

One thing is that when searching for large files or browsing extensive folders, it can be a bit slower. Improving this speed time would be helpful.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Brandfolder to quickly find up-to-date images and templates, preventing the hassle of searching through emails or shared drives. It ensures I have the latest brand files, eliminating version confusion. Its search tools boost my efficiency and ease external sharing.

  ### 7. Good to use software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag G. | SDR, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

It simplifies brand management and collaboration—no more digging through folders or emailing design files. The platform’s version control and permissions features ensure teams always use the most up-to-date assets. The ability to share collections securely with external partners or clients is a big plus. Overall, it boosts productivity and maintains brand consistency.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Occasionally, large uploads can take longer than expected, and some integrations could be more seamless. Reporting and analytics, while helpful, could offer deeper insights into asset usage. Still, these are minor compared to the value Brandfolder delivers.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder solves the challenge of scattered and inconsistent digital assets by centralizing all brand material—images, logos, videos, and collateral—in one searchable, governed repository.

This benefits me by:

saving time (no more hunting for the correct file),

ensuring brand consistency across teams and channels,

and streamlining collaboration by giving controlled access to external partners and internal users alike.

  ### 8. Well-Structured Tool with a strong API for Complex Content Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

It is well structured and has an advanced API that supports complex content requirements

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

There's not much I dislike, but worth noting that enablement for new users can take some time and the overall setup needs to be really well documented in order to get the most out of the tool.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multilingual assets can be shared in content in various languages. Plus storing and organising a huge library of files

  ### 9. Efficient Photo Management Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Chief Marketing Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I find Brandfolder's visual interface and ease of sorting and browsing assets incredibly valuable. The intuitive and easy setup process made onboarding straightforward with excellent support assistance. I particularly love being able to share assets easily both within and outside our organization, which greatly enhances our workflow efficiency and asset distribution. The ability to customize shareable links and manage access through passwords and expiration settings adds to the utility.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

The AI tagging feature in Brandfolder is clunky and presents challenges for our organization. It lacks the ability to recognize synonyms, which hinders our internal tagging processes and makes navigation more difficult. Additionally, Brandfolder is quite expensive for us, costing approximately $8,000 annually. This pricing feels particularly high for our needs.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder significantly improved our photo organization and distribution processes, making it quick and efficient for my team to access, tag, and share photos for marketing and donor communications.

  ### 10. Dated product, lackluster support, zero innovation

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** H Q. | Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

It gets the job done as far as organizing our team's assets goes, and it enables them to share them easily. It's a tool our team has come to rely on, despite the issues we've had.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Ease of use / user experience
One of the biggest issues is usability. Brandfolder offers multiple ways to organize content — tags, labels, filters, custom fields, and collections. On paper, these sound helpful. In practice, they are duplicative, confusing, and buried within the interface. Despite training, our users find the taxonomy overwhelming and just bypass it entirely, defaulting to the global search bar. Unfortunately, the search functionality is weak and ineffective, so all of the administrative work around tagging, labeling, and custom fields essentially goes to waste. We invested significant time building automations that tied these systems together (e.g., custom fields automatically generating tags and labels), but Brandfolder now only offers the automation feature on the Enterprise plan — and it's table stakes for their competitors to offer that feature on lower plans. Now our team has to maintain this duplicative taxonomy manually, which feels like a time sink that delivers limited benefit because end users ignore it. We’ve tried to use Portals to simplify the user experience, but Portals only help in very limited contexts. For the majority of our users, the core UI remains confusing and inefficient, and finding assets is still harder than it should be.

Customer support and account management
Customer support has been another persistent pain point. In four years, we have not had a single account rep stay with us for more than a few months. Every time we reach out, we’re told our rep is no longer with the company, and we’re reassigned yet again. The new rep almost always starts by trying to sell us on Smartsheet, despite our repeatedly stating that Smartsheet is not an option for our organization. This constant turnover signals instability inside Brandfolder and makes it impossible to build a productive relationship. It also means we spend time re-explaining our account history and needs to a revolving door of reps who aren’t aware of prior conversations.

PrintUI templating add-on
By far our biggest frustration has been the PrintUI templating tool, which was initially an add-on we opted in to. Over the years, it’s become increasingly buggy and is now essentially unusable. Our users dislike it so much they refuse to adopt it. It slows down workflows, creates bottlenecks, and has become a liability rather than a solution. In the age of Canva, there is no reason someone would want to use a tool like PrintUI instead.

We escalated many bugs to support, and with one recurring bug, we escalated it so many times over a year that we were finally told by Brandfolder that they had withdrawn support for PrintUI entirely and would no longer implement bug fixes. This was particularly egregious because we had just paid for additional templates under the impression that the product would continue to be supported and eventually fixed. To add insult to injury, another even described PrintUI as being run by “two old guys in a basement,” which was apparently their way of explaining its poor quality. That level of dismissiveness toward a product they were actively selling us was shocking.

Brandfolder’s proposed replacement, the “Content Automation” tool, was presented as a modern upgrade. But in demos, it was only marginally better than PrintUI, came with a much higher cost, and still didn’t solve our needs. We decided not to switch. However, when renewal came around, Brandfolder changed their pricing model and forced us to continue paying for PrintUI as part of our plan, even though the product is essentially dead.

Renewal and pricing experience
Our most recent renewal was very frustrating. We went into the conversation expecting a standard renewal process and were blindsided when the Brandfolder team told us we had been receiving a “steep discount” for years — something that had not been properly disclosed. They then announced that these discounts would be expiring, and our plan would be shifting into a new, more expensive “enterprise” bucket (which we didn’t even realize we were in). The proposed package was significantly more expensive, and although they offered temporary discounts to soften the blow, the increase was still substantial.

When we asked about cheaper plans, the reps admitted there were other tiers but could not clearly articulate what those included or how they differed from what we had. We were left to do the work ourselves to figure out what downgrading would mean in terms of lost functionality. The negotiation felt unnecessarily opaque and high-pressure, with a big push to lock us into a one-, two-, or three-year plan at a much higher cost. We ultimately downgraded to a smaller plan, but it still costs more than what we were paying previously, and it no longer meets our needs.

Lack of innovation
Finally, the pace of innovation has been disappointing. In the four years we’ve been with Brandfolder, the core product hasn’t meaningfully changed. Competitors are launching AI-driven features, building more efficient workflows, improving their interfaces, and innovating in digital asset management. Brandfolder, by contrast, seems stagnant. Our impression is that after being acquired by Smartsheet, the focus has shifted away from improving Brandfolder as a standalone product.

Overall
Between the poor UI, ineffective taxonomy, unusable PrintUI templating, constant rep turnover, opaque and costly renewals, and lack of innovation, we’ve been thoroughly disappointed. We are actively exploring competitors and plan to move off the platform soon. For anyone in creative operations evaluating DAM solutions, I would strongly caution against Brandfolder.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidation of brand assets, enabling sharing of brand assets

  ### 11. From chaos to clarity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yulia P. | Senior Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like how Brandfolder allows to share assets with third parties that are not part of our organization - external URLs are a life-saver when working with contractors building our newsletters or ebooks. I appreciate the ability to resize images right on the platform before uploading them to the site. I like the Drupal-Brandfolder integration - it eliminates duplicate work.

Before Brandfolder, we used to store images in Drupal or in Drive, depending on a use case. It's great to have one reference library for everything. You want product update images? Here's your folder. You want ebooks? Here we go.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I think Sections UI looks a little busy and hard to sift through when you reached 20--30 sections. Maybe a limit on sections and then subfolders would simplify search?

The Drupal integration seems a little clunky.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Content Management, visual assets are the lifeline. I rely on Brandfolder to search for appropriate images when creating landing pages, publishing blogs, etc.

  ### 12. Great on features, organization and collaboration.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron P. | Digital Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I enjoy the ease of adding files and keeping all of my assets in one location. We also use Brandfolder to access resources from a statewide organization and share files with others, and that seems to work very well. The platform has also made it easy to share files with outside vendors and partners safely and securely. The ability to edit videos and photos directly in the platform is also a plus.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

While this is a bit nitpicky, I do think it would be nice if it had some better auto-tagging features. I would like to upload more videos and photos for file management, but taking the time to manually tag everything has so far stopped me from doing so.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work with a statewide organization that creates assets for many cooperatives across the state. Brandfolder makes it easy to collaborate and share files quickly, and allows us to have access to those files anywere.

  ### 13. Effortless Navigation, Frustrating Uploads: My Experience with Brandfolder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica H. | Legal Office Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder has proven to be a user-friendly and intuitive platform. Its clean layout and straightforward navigation make it easy to locate and manage assets efficiently. I appreciate how simple it is to organize content and how quickly I can find what I need without unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

The biggest downside I’ve experienced over the past year is the frequent uploading issues. Uploading assets can be frustratingly slow, often forcing me to abandon the task and return later when the system decides to cooperate. The most inconvenient part has been needing to switch to a browser I never use just to get Brandfolder to function properly and allow uploads to go through. This disrupts my workflow and makes what should be a quick task unnecessarily time-consuming. I use Brandfolder fairly often, sometimes multiple times a week.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder was provided to me by our marketing department, and it’s been a helpful solution for managing and organizing digital assets in my role as a Corporate Legal Office Administrator. I use it fairly often to store, access, and share brand-related documents, and forms —especially when uploading assets to our internal company intranet. It solves the problem of scattered or hard-to-find materials by centralizing everything in one place with a clean, user-friendly interface. This makes it much easier to locate what I need quickly and ensures consistency across materials used by different teams.

The platform also supports collaboration and is beneficial when working with internal teams or example, when a document link broke on HalWorld, I was able to re-upload it to Brandfolder and re-link it to the page, restoring access for the legal and immigration teams without delay. Additionally, the tagging and organization features help keep our content streamlined and easy to maintain, which saves time and reduces confusion.

  ### 14. A Game-Changer for our Marketing & Communications Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura B. | Marketing and Communications Senior Project Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder has been an essential tool for streamlining how we manage and distribute our brand assets. As a marketing and communications team, we’re constantly juggling content across campaigns, departments, and external partners — and Brandfolder has brought clarity and control to that process.

The platform is intuitive and visually organized, which makes it easy for our team (and non-design colleagues) to find the right logos, images, videos, and documents quickly. Features like metadata tagging, version control, and usage analytics have helped us maintain brand consistency while also tracking how and where assets are being used.

We especially value the ability to create custom portals for different audiences — whether it's for media, partners, or internal teams — without worrying about outdated materials floating around. Sharing assets is seamless, and we retain full control over permissions and expiration settings.

Brandfolder has not only improved our workflow efficiency but has also elevated how our brand is presented externally. It's become a central hub for our creative content, saving us time and ensuring we deliver cohesive messaging across all channels.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder has significantly improved how we manage our brand assets and has become a central part of our content operations. While there are a few areas for improvement — particularly around flexibility, cost, and bulk asset management — the platform’s strengths in usability, asset control, and brand consistency make it a strong choice for marketing and communications teams.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder has helped us overcome the major obstacle of sharing files with our constituents based internationally.

  ### 15. Brandfolder is a great DAM for document storage and searching and tagging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine H. | Global marketing technical writer/manager (biotechnology), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Grouping of documents into collections and ease of tagging and sharing with teammates. Easy to use and upload new documents. It is customizable to your business needs. I use it multiple times a week to store the most current version of new content. It easily allows you to replace old files with new ones, just by giving them the same name. Very easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Sometimes it takes a long time to upload large files. It can also take a few days for customer support to get back to you with a response when you have a question. The help section/knowledge base should be more robust, but still has good information - it can be difficult to separate Brandfolder itself from SmartSheets help.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps most current versions of documents easily accessible to team so we can control versions. It allows ou to easily replace old documents as long as they have the same name.

  ### 16. An excellent DAM choice for a company that has never had one before

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abagail C. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder is extremely easy to use. Even for colleagues who have little experience with DAMs or similar appilcations, the implementation process was easy for them. Brandfolder also looks and feels sleek, making sharing assets within and outside the company a point of pride.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

There are many different ways to search Brandfolder, which can be intimidating for new users since there's not much direction on labels, tags, sections, pins. It is also quite tedious to add each individual asset to the correct area of each of these categories.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For many years, our assets were hosted in 3+ different areas, with much duplication and lots of confusion on what we had vs. what we didn't. With Brandfolder, they're all in one place, ensuring we know what we have and what we need to create. Plus, we're not bogging down storage space with duplicated assets.

  ### 17. Brandfolder Keeps Our Assets Organized and Easy to Share

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara A. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder helps us stay organized with all collateral and assets, and sharing with colleagues is easy.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Sometimes the integration with Workday doesn’t work, but this is mostly an Adobe issue.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder helps ensure everything we use for marketing, events, and internally is on brand and approved, all in one place.

  ### 18. Brandfolder is a great tool to have in your corner!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny G. | Sales Enablement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I love how easy it is to add assets to Brandfolder, how easy it is to share assets and make modifications quickly. There's no lag time when making updates, which helps turnaround time.
I reached out to Customer Support for an issue I was having and they were able to help me quickly. I use Brandfolder on a daily basis and am very familiar with it, I am able to help my colleagues when they get stuck trying to find an asset.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

My beef with Brandfolder is sometimes when there should be numerous assets to view and I get a blank slate. I have to sign out and sign back in again to have them show up. Not sure why that happens.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to share our assets with partners, clients and colleagues in a professional and seamless manner.

  ### 19. Great Solution, Almost There

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria N. | Senior Digital Communications Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder is a great internal resource for sharing digital content, templates and resources with social media managers in our organization. I love creating links with multiple assets and seeing insights on usage.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I hate the search filters at the top of the interface. While I have learned how to use it, the folks I send to Brandfolder are confused and then give up before finding what they are looking for. It's hard for people to search terms when they have other filter buttons selected at the top (unknowingly). A drop-down selection for filtering content would work better and is more intuitive.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder is great for social media managers to have a selection of brand-aligned content. I've seen more improvement on pages run by folks that have access to these resources than those who don't or have trouble using it.

  ### 20. Quick, Smooth High-Quality Asset Viewing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like how quick it is to view assets, even when they're high quality

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I'm not sure if it's how ours is set up, but it can be challenging to use the search features.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing our clients to share assets with us

  ### 21. Good Experience, Could Be Better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily M. | Graphic Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like the organization within Brandfolder the most, there are many different ways to categorize items and find what you need.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I was disappointed in the lack of flexibility with templates. It's friendly for small groups who understand Brandfolder, but not for the general masses at my company who don't have training in Brandfolder. I wish they operated similarly to Canva where there's more flexibility for anyone at my company to use, but also locks down brand colors and fonts so there's brand alignment across our company. We're still using the PrintUI plugin with templates and importing into Brandfolder because it's more controlled.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easier for employees at my company to find the most up-to-date information in one place. Especially with the new portal feature.

  ### 22. Nice DAM, but the annual price increase is crazy!

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like how I can easily create a collection of images to send to someone. It's also easy to tag your images. Their AI tagging is a little over zealous, but it's not an issue.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I asked how much the service would go up the 2nd year and they said not much. It went up 37% in year two!!! We BARELY use what we bought and there is no room for discussion. I asked how much it would go up next year and no response.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to send a group of images to outside vendors.

  ### 23. Has potential for a content library, but it's poorly organized and needs naming conventions

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin D. | Senior Analyst Safety Promotions, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like that crewmembers are able to find assets for communications and stock imagery for their content creation and publishing. The greatest asset is making available the most current templates and style guides for the Brand.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

It's quite dated on content, doesn't have any current stock imagery from the operation, very inconsistent without a standard naming convention of files (rendering searching for items pointless). Without any sense of when content was created, average or newer crewmembers will have no guidance on what assets would be brand-compliant. Many of the templates are also very basic and hard to format with.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The brandfolder allows me to find the latest style guides and colors for the brand, and to find the latest powerpoint templates when they are refreshed.

  ### 24. Overall a good program, but learning curve isn't great

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah H. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like the ability to organize, search, tag and filter assets. They have lots of integrations which is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

The onboarding isn't particularly helpful. I consider myself a fairly tech savvy person and I was able to figure out what I needed, but the training could be more streamlined. It also seems too pricey for the amount of options in the base tier.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this to keep our sales team always updated with the latest flyers, marketing collateral and digital assets they can pass along to their customers. The goal was to cut down the amount of emails Marketing sends to internal employees, and to allow employees a self-sufficient area to get logos, photos and approved materials.

  ### 25. Useful Features, But Speed Issues and Limited Flexibility

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Co-Chair, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I appreciate the Metasheets feature, which simplifies the setup process significantly. The comprehensive support during onboarding, including informational calls, was very helpful. I like the competitive cost compared to other DAMs and auto-tagging functionality. I enjoy the multiple search options such as labels, tags, and custom fields that make finding files easy.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I am frustrated by the loading issues with Brandfolder, as it often takes an unusually long time to load photos and assets, which is counterproductive given its primary purpose. The search functionality is imperfect, frequently requiring multiple attempts to yield results, which is not expected of a tool at its price point. Additionally, I find it problematic that there isn't an option to change the icon preview size for images, making it cumbersome to review images without clicking through each one individually. I also dislike the lack of a permanent link to labels, which necessitates creating a share link every time, adding unnecessary steps to my workflow. My requests for enhancements, such as larger image previews, seem to go unheard, leaving these usability issues unresolved. I also dislike that our sales reps change every couple of months (I've had at least four or five) and I am never actually told when someone is leaving or who our new contact is.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder saves us time by giving automatic access to photos for non-design teams, reducing design requests and auto-tagging images efficiently.

  ### 26. Versatile and Scalable DAM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayes W.

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I appreciate Brandfolder's ability to serve as a single point of truth for our digital assets, saving us significant time in internal communication and asset retrieval. Its search and pin features are useful, enabling easy access to archival content relevant to our sales cycle. I find the share link feature particularly useful for effortlessly sharing content with clients and prospects. Additionally, Brandfolder's flexibility allows it to scale with our company, adapting to our needs efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I find the video playback feature to be pretty rudimentary and not well-suited for mobile use. It doesn't work as smoothly as I'd like, particularly on smaller screens. Improvements in the user interface or additional functionalities would be great to see in the future. The pricing is sometimes difficult to explain to stakeholders, so make sure you get the right amount of seats in the admin and collaborator roles, because you will have to pay a la carte for them if you you need to add an account.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder solves the problem of asset accessibility by being a single source of truth, saving time in internal communications, and facilitating easy sharing and searching of content.

  ### 27. Good DAM Platform - Search UX needs improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

My company loves having a place to easily share photos and videos because we have so many business units that need access to these assets. Marketing can easily upload and share out a link quickly so sales persons can easily share materials. We use it very often, I would gather once if not multiple times a week.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

We struggle using the search feature on Brandfolder. Even if we label, tag, and organize an asset properly, sometimes the exact thing we are searching for does not pop up the way we need it to. For example, by SKU #

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve the problem of sharing assets to members of our organization as well as externally. Having a repository where all of our digital assets (photos, videos, collateral) etc that is easily sharable and downloads are simple is the best way we use Brandfolder to make our company work better.

  ### 28. Really great DAM Platform for Managing Multi-Brand Assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder makes organizing, sharing, and scaling creative assets across multiple product lines incredibly seamless. We use it to manage a growing collection of branded content across several distinct product families.

The UI is intuitive, lightning-fast, and visually appealing—which makes it a breeze for internal teams and external partners to access exactly what they need.

The nested collections and advanced permission settings allow us to keep brand architecture clean while offering granular control. Asset tagging, search, and usage analytics are huge bonuses.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

The platform’s pricing structure, while reflective of its enterprise-level capabilities, may be a stretch for smaller brands or teams operating on leaner budgets.

While the value is evident in its performance, scalability, and time savings, the cost can be a barrier—especially when compared to more basic DAM tools or general cloud storage platforms.

A more flexible or modular pricing model could open the door for wider adoption without compromising on the premium experience.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder has eliminated the chaos of scattered, siloed brand assets across multiple platforms. It solves the core challenge of maintaining brand consistency across a wide range of product lines and marketing channels. With its centralized hub, our creative, sales, and partner teams always have access to the most up-to-date, approved assets—organized by product, campaign, or brand family.

This has significantly reduced internal back-and-forth, prevented outdated content from being used, and accelerated our go-to-market workflows. We’re also seeing benefits in partner enablement—distributors and agencies can self-serve from curated collections, reducing our team’s lift while increasing speed and accuracy in execution.

  ### 29. Streamlining asset handover and speeding up web content delivery

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Using brandfolder streamlined how our web content team works with the creative folks who provide assets, enabling us to quickly share and update assets without endless local downloads. We can also embed files so much easier than before. This has been especially huge with PDFs that are often updated, removing an entire annoying step in our process.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Sometimes certain features are a bit buried (for ex., the ability to embed media in different formats requires an extra click, the ability to embed video outside of the extra formatting brandfolder adds to the default). These are more learning curve issues, but they're not always obvious. The flexibility of the tool can also get messy if the team isn't aligned on where things should live.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The handover between different marketing teams is much smoother and speeds up my process, especially in the case of having to update assets a few times. It is also very helpful in embedding different types of content on the website.

  ### 30. A useful software for digital asset management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I like the visual UI. It's easy to identify assets and their tags. Also nice having different options to see categories of assets with one click for most used/searched assets.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I think after our initial set up and learning curve there now might be better ways to set up our categories and taxonomy. But it's difficult to change that on existing assets. Also I wonder if there are changes that have been made to the interface that might be useful to us, but I don't get regular notifications about that. Also when searching help it seems to go show Smartsheet results rather than having a stand alone Brandfolder help.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves our problem of having a main repository for all of our marketing assets. This benefits the team by them knowing to look in Brandfolder first. Also the benefits are the ease of sharing the assets to people outside of the company.

  ### 31. A great tool overall, honestly a game-changer, with a few small quirks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Compared to other sites like Google Drive or Dropbox, I like that you can see your assets more visually, versus having to dig through folders and whatnot. I also LOVE the sharing functionality, where you can select specific assets to share with their own links. That helps us to easily share specific sets of assets with our external partners. Also, once we took the time to organize our Sections in a way that made sense, it became a much more valuable tool. (when we first set it up, it felt disorganized/chaotic/hard to find things). The more time you put into Brandfolder (with organizing things, tagging things, and even just consistently uploading things), the more you'll get out of it.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Often times when I click on a section, all of the assets completely disappear from view, and I have to click/refresh a few times in order for them to stay on the screen, which is frustrating and takes up time. Also, the search tool really only works as well as your tags/titles etc are set up (the AI search functionality sometimes works well to find things, but sometimes not).

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder helps us view our assets more visually, versus having to dig through dozens and dozens of folders to find our creative, graphics, logos, videos, stock photos, etc. It also makes it super easy for us to share specific assets with our external partners (like our media agency).

  ### 32. Brandfolder is straightforward, customizable, and an excellent option for sharing brand assets.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I really enjoy the ease of organization through collections, sections, and pins. Being able to clearly organize and identify brand assets makes it easier to not only organize everything properly on the admin facing side of the platform, but also makes it much easier for the intended users to find all the materials. It made the process of moving and uploading all our materials and implementing them into the platform very seamless.

Additionally, the customer support and training that was provided to us has continued to be amazing and consistently positive.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

What I have disliked about Brandfolder is the struggle of finding and implementing various settings and options. There are a lot of great options and settings to choose from to really customize the brandfolder experience and layout, but it gets frustrating trying to find the specific menus and settings for them. This takes extra time whenever I need to do change specific settings when I need to do so. Some settings are on the start page as soon as you log in, others are within the collection themselves, and others are within the individual asset. While some areas make sense where they are located, I believe some of these features could be reconsidered on their location so they can be easier to find.

Another thing that gets tedious is with the user groups. For private collections that need access to be given to users to view the collection, it would be nice if it had more options and a better layout. I like the way Constant Contact has their user lists displayed on their platform as they include different lists of users (in Brandfolder's case it would be user groups) and you can easily search and view who's in the lists, add/remove users, resend links to users, update emails within their settings. I believe this would make the user group experience a lot simpler and more exciting to use.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a CTSO Non-Profit Organization, we are constantly updating new brand materials such as templates, annual theme logos, flyers, videos, etc. and needed a platform that could manage all the assets and provide a place where our members and advisers could access and use these materials effectively. Brandfolder benefits us by allowing us to easily stay up to date as well as remove outdated materials very easily so that we only push out materials and assets that we want to at a given time.

  ### 33. Good Asset Management Library

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I was instrumental in implementing Brandfolder for our team. I like it better than some of the competitors that we reviewed. It is a robust system with a beautiful and intuitive user interface. If set up properly, it has good filters that have improved our workflow and allowed our team to use art more effectively. We like the different features like sharing, sections, and easy to edit custom fields. Compared to our old library system everything is cleaner and looks more modern. Once the team is trained, it is easy to integrate into the design process.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

It takes a while to understand Brandfolder's structure. Coming from a server environment, we had to train the team to stop expecting a folder structure. Instead it is imperative that everything is tagged consistently and correctly. We were able to use "labels" to mimic folders, but that also requires that everyone is on the same page. Due to our unique business needs (huge number of assets, iterations, and production environment with multiple linked files) we had to start from scratch when it came to designing our Brandfolder architecture. The support team did not fully understand our needs and was not able to help. There are also a few small quibbles like the inability to edit "workflow." This can be frustrating if you added the wrong version to an asset that already has 20 versions. We also cannot add comments to the versions in workflow when uploading unless we check them out first. That creates extraneous versions and pollutes the timeline. Finally, and this is small, Brandfolder does not display years in numerical order. Hopefully that is something they will patch soon.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deal with thousands of assets. Each presentation may consist of a hundred assets and each asset may have 5-10 versions. We need a robust system to keep track of everything and to make sure we know exactly where an asset is as it moves from team to team. One asset may travel from presentation to presentation for several years. It is imperative that two customers are not accidentally shown the same design. This work is incredibly hard to do without a well-organized digital asset library.

  ### 34. Easy To Use and Manage Digital Assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renee F. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

The platform is very organized and easy to use. It’s a breeze to locate, download, and share assets with colleagues and business partners. My agencies can easily access it from the backend, and it’s been invaluable for ensuring our company uses the most current assets.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I often receive an error message when uploading a file that has the same name as one already in Brandfolder. I wish there were a way for Brandfolder to recognize it as a different image and allow the upload.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset organization and sharing. It’s saved me a tremendous amount of time searching for assets and keeping them updated.

  ### 35. Great tool for sharing assets with anyone that needs them inside or outside of your organization!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex N. | Senior Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

It is super easy to upload assets, organize them, and make them available to anyone that needs them.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

It does take time and someone designate to handle the onboarding and starting phases of utilizing a DAM like Brandfolder. But, I don't know of any DAM that is so simple that you can start using it on day 1 without some work.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest help for us is getting assets into the hands of employees and our dealers without requiring that a person provides them to someone else. Saves a huge amount of time for many individuals.

  ### 36. Manager of Assets, it is!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I appreciate the customer service and support we receive from our team. They've always been helpful in trying to help us find ease of use and implementation. The product does what it's supposed to do; we use it daily to store, sort, find, and use assets across our marketing initiatives. In addition, we're finding new ways to integrate with our other tools, as well.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I dislike the search feature. It's cumbersome and confusing. I still end up having to sort through huge amounts of assets to find what I need. A more intuitive approach would be hugely benefitial.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, the biggest benefit is being able to store & share our approved assets across the company. Everyone has their choice of pictures and videos that have been approved for us.

  ### 37. Brandfolder is an exceptional tool for managing brand assets in the enterprise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha B. | Senior Director Brand and Creative at Everbridge, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

We are a large company with multiple brands. Brandfolder allows us to distribute important graphics and templates to a large internal audience.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I would like the template builder to be easier to use and not have to use the plug in with Indesign.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have over 1000 employees that can access the brand items in brandfolder directly from one login. This reduced the number of adhoc queries that come into my team. We rebranded this year and launch a new company brand and six subrands and this helped everyone get access to the template they needed.

  ### 38. A great option for an asset manager for our company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kandace T. | Communication Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder has been a great tool for our company to have a center place for all of our assets to be accessed from wherever.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I dislike all of the backend work you have to do in Brandfolder. There are several steps that you have to do when uploading an asset. When you have multiple people uploading things assets don't always get put in the right spot or tagged correctly.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder is solving a lot of problems for us but it is housing all of our assets so everyone on our team has full access to everything.

  ### 39. This is such a great site for hosting our images and videos

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Web Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I love how easy it is to use, and how easy it is to share content with other people

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

So far I have yet to find any downsides about Brandfolder. It has been one of, if not the best DAM I've used.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my work as a Web Producer for Princeton Theological Seminary, Brandfolder is a great way to easily store and access all of the content for our sites. I especially love the easy ability to embed images directly from Brandfolder.

  ### 40. Exploitative and Dishonest Practices – Be Cautious

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna K. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Any great parts are completely overridden by my experience I detail in the next field.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Over the past year, I’ve reached out to Brandfolder/Smartsheet multiple times regarding serious financial hardship. I made small payments as a sign of good faith—with their approval—despite not using the service at all. I've been transparent and proactive in trying to resolve this, have emails and bank statements to support this, yet they’ve chosen to be unresponsive until it benefited them.
Not only was I actively communicating, but their pattern of behavior shows a clear lack of integrity. For spans of time, my messages went unanswered—until very conveniently, after the cancellation window passed. Only then did they reply, conveniently locking me into another year of service and adding more charges to an already stressful situation.
Despite approving my payments which I suggested to them myself, the most recently sent my account to a third-party collections agency, claiming I had ignored all prior payment communication, which is completely false.
Their handling of this matter has been deeply disappointing and disingenuous. I came to them in good faith, received their approval to make partial payments, and still found myself blindsided by collections and inaccurate accusations. If necessary, I’m prepared to escalate this further, including involving a legal team and requesting a full audit of my contact attempts and their internal processes.
I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with them. This experience has felt more like a trap than a service. I would never recommend working with a company that operates like this.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They created additional problems for me through shady business practices.

  ### 41. Centralized All Our Commercial Materials

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder allows us to have the most recent revision of our documents easily available in one location so that team members don't have to search between different systems and platforms to find what they are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I wish there were options to lock down certain documents regarding accessibility. Some of our documents are not intended for sharing/download and it would be nice if there were documents that could be 'view only' for training purposes.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder allows us to keep all of publicly facing documents, images, and forms accessible in one place and reduces how much time it take for people to use these frequently utilized items.

  ### 42. Tagging works well and makes it easier to find assets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

It helps us organize our photo assets. Big improvement over the Windows server folder structure we used to rely on.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

I really have no complaints. Search works well. Tagging works well. Bulk upload options might be a place for improvement, but I don't personally do that because other team members do most of the uploadign and tagging.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing and organizing our photography assets. With proper tagging, I can quickly find the images I am looking for. I am curious if there are AI tools that can help with tagging. Our important tags are not general, they have to do with our specific product catalog.

  ### 43. Great for the company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura G. | Social Media Strategist Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

The best part for our company is having all assets for many different platforms located in one spot.
Allowing multiple people and departments to have access with easy download and search

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

how long it takes to upload images and tagging them

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using a drive that was getting maxed out or people had the wrong pathways so now we have one location with all of the assets easily downloadable

  ### 44. Organized, user-friendly platform-but ready to outgrow it

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Brandfolder is extremely easy to use, especially for sharing assets with internal and external partners. The interface is clean, intuitive, and fast. I appreciate the tagging system and how easy it is to organize assets into collections. It’s also helpful for maintaining brand consistency across departments.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

As our organization grows, we’re starting to outgrow Brandfolder’s capabilities. Features like version control, advanced search filters, bulk uploading, and user permissions can feel a bit limited. Integration with other tools is also not as seamless as we’d like. Pricing doesn’t always match what you get in terms of scalability.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder helps us centralize all branded assets-from logos to video content into one organized and accessible platform. This has improved our team’s efficiency and ensured brand consistency across departments and external partners. It also reduces time spent searching for assets or clarifying which version to use.

  ### 45. More dislikes than likes

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Bulk automation and the ability to auto-push uploaded assets into several collections.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

* The ended support for PrintUI templates (BF template tool is not comparable)
* Too many ways to categorize assets (collections, portals, sections, labels, tags), making it confusing for entry-users to immediately find what they need
* Sections do not utilize a direct URL, has to be a shared link through search
* De-coupling of what I liked best about Brandfolder as part of a contract change

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a single place for employees to access brand assets uploaded only by members of the Brand team

  ### 46. Great 1st DAM for medium-sized businesses!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

- Granular user permissions
- Duplicate detection
- CSV upload to make changes in bulk
- Custom fields to attach information to assets that's only visible to Admins and Collaborators

Easy to use and easy to implement. Brandfolder is a swiss army knife, it provides so many options for solutions to each use case.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

- Lack of multi-point search functionality
- Lack of conditional automations/automations with multiple triggers

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brandfolder serves as a single source of truth for marketing assets and allows us to set up customized self-service portals for each of our partners.

  ### 47. Brandfolder, A Solution to our Branding Needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

I LOVE that I can easily update our brand colors, fonts and logos whenever I want. I also just really enjoy being able to generate links to share with outside vendors, freelancers, or other team members. It's just fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Sometimes remaining organizing everything can be a little complex. I wish that part of the user experience were just a little bit more clear. However, I am overall pleased with Brandfolder as a product.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to quickly upload assets and sharing them with vendors, agencies and contractors! This is a GREAT all-in-one solution to me.

  ### 48. Brandfolder consistently delivers!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Using Brandfolder has been a game-changer for our team. Its intuitive interface and powerful search capabilities (love that sections and tags) have significantly improved how we manage and distribute digital assets.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

Sometimes it's confusing to have so many options to categorize the asset: Labels, Sections, Pins, Tags. So, I need to focus on what we decided to use to keep consistency for the final users.

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform makes it incredibly easy to organize, access, and share content across teams and regions, which is essential in our global operations.

**What do you like best about Brandfolder?**

Fast, fairly easy to upload assets and tag, categorize, etc. Easy to share images outside company.

Easy to bulk upload and tag.

Fast uploads & downloads.

Search function works OK, you need to sort for accuracy.

The "Sections" concept works OK but also creates gaps in finding images.

**What do you dislike about Brandfolder?**

• Integration with CI Hub is a joke.
• Sorting by date uploaded never works, images show up in random orders
• Doesn't feel like the system has evolved or been updated in 4 years.
• It still depends on my memory to find assets

**What problems is Brandfolder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single location to host images and videos

  ### 50. Effortless Organization and Sharing
