## Brainscape Reviews
  ### 1. Revolutionized My Exam Preparation with Seamless Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shiraz S. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

I find Brainscape to be a great tool for my tax preparation and enrollment exam. It's excellent for learning because I learn a lot from it. I appreciate the space repetition feature, as it helps me recollect all my reviewed chapters, enhancing my learning and retention, which allows me to solve problems effectively. Brainscape aligns well with the chapters of my tax papers, linked to the Hawk EA review, enabling me to review them repeatedly, even when I'm in the car. I value the drills they have, including all the relevant questions, which provide me with the best knowledge possible. The initial setup was very easy, taking just a minute.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

I think it would be great if Brainscape could add a question bank feature to test knowledge. While the flashcards are helpful, having a feature that allows for more direct testing with a question bank could enhance its functionality.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Brainscape for tax preparation. It's great for learning with space repetition, helping me retain and recollect key information. It aligns with my tax chapters, letting me review anywhere, and the drill feature provides knowledge checks.

  ### 2. Effective Tool for Language Learning with Flashcards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pari G. | student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

I really appreciate the premade flashcards on Brainscape because I don't have to invest much time in making them. I can just search for the subject and start studying right away. It's convenient to use these ready-made cards, especially since they cover the most important topics for exams. Even when I need something specific to my book or course that's not available, I can make my own flashcards and learn. Plus, the initial setup was very easy. All I had to do was register with my email, set my name and photo, and then I could search for subjects and start learning immediately.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

Well, the subscription part, actually. Because as students, we don't have money to pay for a subscription. And if you don't have a subscription for any kind of course or any kind of subject, we are learning flashcards from Brainscape. We have very limited access to those flashcards. So that is the most difficult part, I think.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Brainscape to help me remember difficult vocabulary and kanji. The flashcard ranking system makes it easier for me to focus on the kanji I need to practice most, and the premade decks save me a lot of time. When I need something more specific, I can also create my own flashcards without any hassle.

  ### 3. Customizable Flashcards Enhance Language Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henk P. | English Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

I appreciate the free version of Brainscape, which offers lots of features at no cost. I like that I can create my own flashcards with the vocabulary I want to learn. Plus, the ability to create classrooms and share them with others is great, especially since my partner and I can learn Portuguese together and compare notes. This feature also allows me to customize a classroom for a specific English student, which adds value to my lessons. Switching to Brainscape from Anki was a relief since Brainscape is much easier to use, and the initial setup was simple.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

The audio function is only available on the paid version, would've liked to test this before subscribing to make sure it works well.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Brainscape to memorize vocabulary in foreign languages. It allows me to create custom flashcards, unlike other apps. I appreciate the free version's features and the ability to create and share classrooms, which helps me and my students learn together.

  ### 4. A Powerful Learning Tool for Mastering Clinical Knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulo P. | Embajador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

What I like most about Brainscape is its highly effective spaced repetition system, which has significantly improved my long-term retention of complex information.

From a clinical perspective, this has had a direct impact on my performance. As a nurse, I constantly need to memorize and apply clinical algorithms, drug dosages, and procedures. Brainscape has made that process far more efficient and structured for me, especially when I’m preparing for demanding certifications like Advanced ACLS.

In terms of usability (UI/UX), the platform feels intuitive and easy to navigate. Creating flashcards and reviewing them is straightforward, which saves time and lets me focus on learning rather than managing content.

Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly and makes it easy to study anytime and anywhere without interruptions, which is essential for staying consistent.

Another key benefit is the return on investment (ROI). It has helped me optimize my study time, strengthen retention, and perform better in high-stakes clinical training, which makes it a valuable tool for healthcare professionals.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

Is just in English, not in another languages

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me quickly recall information such as medication dosages, medical laws, reference values, mechanisms of action of drugs, and response times in emergency situations, among other aspects.

  ### 5. Flawless Setup, Trusted Content, and Easy Navigation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carmin Cristina L. | Asistente Veterinario, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

I love Brainscape's clean interface and find the platform easy to understand. I appreciate having access to a wide range of new topics. The flashcard system is really helpful for going over questions multiple times, ensuring I really understand and retain information. I find the color codes in the flashcards particularly useful, as they give me an easy visual cue to see where I’m doing well and where I need to focus more. The initial setup was super easy with no problems, and I find the readily available official BCSE/NAVLE flashcards very trustworthy and a big time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

The knowledge points, feel like they could be used for something more.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainscape helps me review flashcards multiple times to better understand and retain information. The color codes in flashcards visually show where I need more focus, making it easy to identify my strengths and weaknesses without digging through data.

  ### 6. Progress Tracking That Goes Beyond Flashcards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle P. | Unemployed trying to break into the tech space, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

The biggest benefit to using Brainscape, especially as frequently as I do is the rating system as well as progressional track. It is not just studying flash cards but it allows you to hold yourself accountable for just how much you truly know that question/answer. It gives you a visual aid of what areas you are solid in, where you are decent, and where you need more focus time. It is a very easy site to use, navigate, utilize, and import information. Or if you do not want to put in the effort of making your own deck, you can study from multiple other decks that are public.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

Only down side, but makes sense as a business is unless you pay for the membership you can not reset your deck. You can keep utilizing the deck, but it will not reset the Mastery percentage without paid participation. But again, as a business that makes sense.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With regular flashcards you answer, check, move on... set the cards aside then put them back in the deck. With Brainscape you are utilizing your actually progress and monitoring it in real time.

  ### 7. Effortless Flashcard Management with Brainscape

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chance R. | Server, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

I like being able to download the decks and edit them, which lets me correct outdated or incorrect information. I also appreciate the ability to add to the decks, which is really helpful when laws are updated. The feature to share information makes it easily accessible. Plus, the initial setup of Brainscape was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

I think it's, like, memorization. I think if there was, like, some sort of biz at the end of the flashcards, that would help a lot.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Brainscape for data consolidation, writing flashcards, and keeping them handy. It helps me shuffle and track my knowledge, download and edit decks to correct or update information, which saves me time, especially with changing laws.

  ### 8. Scheduled Reviews and Easy Flashcard Creation Make Learning Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

The most helpful features of Brainscape are the scheduled reviews and the assistance with creating flashcards. When learning a new subject, I need frequent and spaces exposure, Brainscape takes that off my hands

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

At this time, not much. However, it would be helpful to be able to attach text or URLs that apply.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software has really helped me stay on top of my study schedule. Before Brainscape, I struggled to figure out how much information to review and when to review it, but the reminders have made that much easier.

  ### 9. Effective Exam Prep Tool with Room for Desktop Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared S. | Software Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

I appreciate how Brainscape helps me feel prepared for certifications through constant repetition. I find it incredibly useful that I can see the areas where I am weak and need to study further. The ability to constantly drill on my weak points and the convenience of using Brainscape anywhere really stands out for me. I also liked that the initial setup was very smooth and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

I wish they had the ability to have a desktop application. So when you create your own flashcards, it would be much easier.

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Brainscape for AWS exam preparation. It helps me feel prepared through constant repetition, and I can identify and work on my weak areas anywhere.

  ### 10. Perfect for studying on the go

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ai . | Associate in asset based lending, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Brainscape?**

My favorite part is that I can take a picture of the material I use to study for my exams and it automatically creates an entire flashcard deck based off the material of my textbook. This is especially helpful because I have about 300 pages of notes to get through and the program allows me to save time writing up each keyword

**What do you dislike about Brainscape?**

I wish they didn’t not limit the number of times I can use the AI feature

**What problems is Brainscape solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to be able to study wherever I am, but I don’t want to carry around a big textbook or a huge pile of flash cards while I am on the go. Brainscape allows me to study anywhere since I can pull it on my phone and study even on the train
