"Brainner Streamlines High-Volume Hiring with Smart, Flexible AI Screening"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainner?

What I like best about Brainner is how much it streamlines and accelerates our recruitment workflow without completely removing the human element from hiring. As a Talent Acquisition Manager handling high-volume and niche hiring for a fully remote global company, the platform has significantly reduced the time we spend on manual screening while still helping us maintain quality standards.

One of the most valuable features for us is the AI-assisted candidate evaluation and ranking system. We use Brainner to assess resumes, portfolio alignment, screening question responses, and overall job fit based on customized criteria per role. This has been especially helpful for hard-to-fill positions such as UI/UX Designers, Motion Designers, Developers, and Partner Growth Managers, where traditional keyword screening alone is not enough. The ability to tailor must-haves, bonus qualifications, and weighted scoring gives us much better filtering accuracy.

From a workflow perspective, Brainner has improved our recruiter efficiency significantly. Instead of manually reviewing every application from scratch, our team can prioritize stronger candidates faster and spend more time on deeper evaluations and candidate engagement. It also helps create more consistency across recruiters when evaluating applicants, especially in remote and asynchronous hiring environments.

The UI/UX is straightforward and relatively easy to navigate, which made onboarding smooth for the team. The learning curve was minimal compared to other recruitment AI tools we evaluated. We also appreciate that the platform allows flexibility in how we structure evaluations instead of forcing a rigid process.

Another strong point is the AI intelligence itself. Unlike some screening tools that feel overly keyword-dependent, Brainner does a better job understanding contextual alignment and transferable experience. It has helped us uncover candidates we may have otherwise overlooked manually while still filtering out clearly mismatched applicants efficiently.

In terms of ROI, the platform has been very valuable for reducing time-to-screen and improving overall hiring throughput. It’s particularly beneficial for teams handling multiple open roles simultaneously or operating with lean recruiting teams.

Overall, Brainner has become a meaningful support tool within our hiring process by balancing automation, structure, and recruiter judgment in a practical way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainner?

One area where Brainner could improve is the depth of its AI evaluation explanations. While the scoring and ranking are helpful, the reasoning can sometimes feel too general for nuanced roles such as UI/UX, creative, or sales positions, where human judgment is still essential for assessing communication, strategy, and creativity.

The platform also performs best when the role setup is carefully configured. If the criteria are too broad or too strict, strong candidates may occasionally be underrated or over-filtered. More AI guidance during setup would help improve accuracy.

From a workflow perspective, additional dashboard customization, bulk actions, and deeper filtering options would make managing high-volume recruitment even more efficient. Stronger ATS integrations would also help reduce manual administrative work.

That said, Brainner still provides strong overall value by significantly improving screening speed, consistency, and recruiter efficiency across multiple hiring pipelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
