**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Brackets?**

with HTML and CSS. It doesn’t feel bloated, so it’s easy to jump in and get things done without digging through a ton of unnecessary features.

I also really like the Beautify and Beautify on Save features. Being able to automatically clean up and format code keeps everything consistent without having to think about it, which is a small thing but makes a big difference when you’re working through a lot of files.

The interface is very straightforward as well. Everything is where you expect it to be, which makes it a solid option whether you’re doing quick edits or working through a larger project.

Overall, it’s just a reliable, no-frills editor that works really well for day-to-day HTML and CSS development.
