It is not clear sometimes why we cant charge time. If you are looking for an all-in-one solution, this is a pretty good choice. The problem is it does not really do any of these all that well, except perhaps reporting. **What do you dislike about BQE CORE?** Where to start. Cloud feeds were very unreliable leading to bad data going into our Financial statements. Widgets meant to show data in Cash kept reverting to showing the data in Accrual. Key information was often buried deep within several menus, which ultimately led us not to use some of their project management functionality. It does not handle task management well. Their batch invoicing didn't work with our type of projects, meaning we were still manually entering individual invoice data. On top of that, invoicing would apply retainers in a haphazard manner, leading to more time trying to untagle the mess. We spent extra for the CRM module. In and of itself, it worked ok, but when we tried to automatically create Projects from Opportunities, some of the most critical data would not get passed thru. After bringing this particular issue up to customer service, we waited 2 months for a response from BQE before we gave up on this workflow. Lastly, one of the most grating issues was the lag and reliability. The lag was horrendous at times. The software would take 10 - 20 seconds to record a time entry on a time sheet. **Recommendations to others considering BQE CORE:** Core was a very poor match for our firm. I definitely would not recommend it for firms smaller than 10 people. There are much better alternatives for smaller firms. Core might be ok for larger firms, but at that point, there are also several other options for larger, more sophisticated firms. **What problems is BQE CORE solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Core we were hoping for an all-in-one solution, ERP, PSA, CRM, project management tool for our architecture firm. We were previously using 3-4 separate tools to try to achieve the same thing. The idea of using just one to accomplish all of this was the most compelling selling point. The reporting does work well. The CRM is ok. The Accounting module is robust, but still had its issues. We found no benefit to the HR module, but I think it simply was unnecessary for our size company. ### 15.
