## Box Reviews
  ### 1. Box Helps Us Manage and Share Business Documents Securely Across Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shibu K. | Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

The feature I use most is folder-based collaboration. We maintain separate folders for different projects, and multiple team members can access documents without crating duplicate copies. I regularly use : File upload and downloads, Folder permission management, Shared links, Version history, Search functionality, User access management. The version history features has been especially useful. During project activities, documents are updated frequently, and Box allows us to review previous versions whenever required. the user interface is simple and easy to understand. uploading files through drag and drop saves time, and the search features helps locate documents quickly even when dealing with large number of files. I also like the integration with Microsoft Office because team members can work on documents while keeping everything stored in Box. This improves collaboration and reduces manual file management. The platform has been stable and reliable throughout my experience. We use it daily, and it has become part of our regular workflow.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

My overall experience with Box has been positive. One small challenge for new users is understanding all the sharing permissions and collaboration settings during the initial setup. Since Box provides many options for access control and file sharing, some users require a short learning period before they become comfortable with the platform. I would also welcome additional intelligent recommendations for file organization and content discovery, especially for environments with a large amount of data. However, there are relatively minor points. Once users become familiar with the platform, daily usage is straightforward. The platform has been reliable, secure, and easy to manage, which is why we continue to use it as our primary document collaboration solution.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Box every working day as part of my job. Our team uses Box as the central location for storing project documents, customer-related files, technical documents, implementation reports, and internal team documents.
My daily work involves uploading documents, organizing folders, sharing files with internal teams, and providing access to project stakeholders. Before using Box, many documents were shared through email attachments or stored in different locations, which made version tracking difficult. With Box, everyone works from the same document repository. I frequently use shared folders for project work and use secure sharing links when I need to provide access to colleagues or external users. This has reduced the time spent searching for files has helped ensure that everyone is working on the latest version of a document. As an administrator, I also manage folder permissions and user access when new team members join projects. Having centralized access management has improved security and reduced the risk of unauthorized access to business documents.

  ### 2. Secure, Well-Managed Document Storage with Smooth Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole R. | Full stack Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

Box provides strong security and detailed management controls which are extremely improtant to me and especially helpful when I need to keep contracts and other documenta prototced and tge sharing features are a big advatnage when I’m working with regilated, confidential data. The product has continued to improve with updates and adjustments that makes with Microsoft 365 and Google workspace is smooth and straightfoward and its a solid option for business documenta storage helping me keep everything orgainzed secure and properly stored.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The pricing could be lower, and uploads feel slow at times. Apart from that from, I don’t really have anything negative to say. A few actions take extra steps to complete, and it also takes a bit of time to get familiar with everything and find your way around

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Box for secure cloud storage, and it’s been helpful for managing documents by letting me set the right permissions. Mobile access is a big plus, since it’s really convenient when I’m away from my desk. It also automates workflows with everyday modern apps, which makes routine tasks feel more streamlined. The initial setup was also super easy.

  ### 3. Box Makes Secure File Sharing and Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aasif J. | Senior Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

What I like best about Box is its ease of use, secure file sharing capabilities, and seamless collaboration features. The platform makes it simple to store, organize, and access documents from anywhere, while maintaining strong security and compliance controls. I particularly appreciate the ability to share files with internal teams and external partners through customizable permissions, which helps streamline workflows and improve productivity. The integration with popular business applications such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Salesforce further enhances efficiency by allowing users to work within their existing tools without disruption. Overall, Box provides a reliable, user-friendly, and secure content management solution for organizations of all sizes.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

One aspect that could be improved is the search functionality, which can occasionally be slow or less intuitive when locating specific files within large repositories. Additionally, some of the advanced administrative and security features have a learning curve and may require additional training for new users. While Box offers a robust set of capabilities, certain integrations and workflows can take time to configure and optimize. However, these are relatively minor concerns compared to the overall value, security, and collaboration benefits the platform provides.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box helps solve the challenges of securely storing, managing, and sharing business documents across teams and locations. It provides a centralized platform where employees can easily access the latest versions of files, collaborate in real time, and maintain proper document control. This has reduced the need for email attachments, minimized versioning issues, and improved overall team productivity. The platform's security, permission controls, and compliance features also help ensure sensitive information is protected while remaining accessible to authorized users. As a result, our organization benefits from more efficient collaboration, streamlined workflows, and better document management.

  ### 4. Box Delivers Strong Security and Granular Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shagun S. | Junior Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

I like Box best for the security and control. The granular permission settings and audit logs give me peace of mind when sharing sensitive files externally. SSO and device management are also solid.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The biggest drawback for me is the UI can feel clunky at times. Navigating deep folder structures takes extra clicks, and the web app occasionally lags with large files. The mobile app is also missing some advanced admin features I’d like to access on the go.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box solves file access and secure sharing for me.

Before Box, we were emailing attachments and juggling multiple versions, which created confusion and security risks with sensitive docs.

Now everything lives in one place with permission controls. I can share large files externally without size limits, track who viewed or downloaded them, and collaborate in real time. It’s cut down on version control issues and made audits easier because we have a clear activity trail.

  ### 5. Simple, Organized, and Reliable File Storage with Box

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muzammil M. | Founder – Muzammil Graphic | Interior and Graphic Designer | Transforming Spaces and Brands Visually , Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

I’ve been using Box for the past year mainly to store and manage my PDF documents. The best thing about Box for me is how simple and organized it feels. Uploading, accessing, and sharing files is easy, and I can quickly find my documents whenever I need them. It’s been reliable for keeping important files in one place without making things complicated.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

One thing I feel Box could improve is the storage limits on some plans, because sometimes space fills up quickly when uploading larger PDF files and documents regularly. The interface is simple, but a few features can take time to understand for new users. Faster syncing in some situations and slightly better pricing for extra storage would also make the experience better for everyday users.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an interior designer, I deal with a lot of client agreements, project contracts, quotation PDFs, layout files, invoices, and reference documents. Before using Box, managing all these files across different devices and folders used to get confusing, especially when I needed older documents quickly during client discussions. Box has helped me keep everything organized in one place. I can separate files project-wise, access important contracts anytime, and share documents with clients or team members without sending large attachments again and again. The search and file management system is simple, so even when I have many PDFs and documents, finding the right file takes very little time. What makes Box different for me is that it feels professional but still easy to use. Some platforms become too complicated with extra features, but Box keeps the interface clean and reliable. I trust it more for important business documents because it feels secure and stable for long-term storage. For buyers or businesses thinking about using it, I’d say Box is very useful if your work depends on document management and collaboration. Whether someone is handling contracts, office files, design documents, or client records, it saves time and keeps work organized without much effort. That’s the main reason I still prefer using Box regularly after trying other storage platforms.

  ### 6. Easy File Sharing and Version Control with Box

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nijat I. | Full-stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

The best thing is that sharing documents with individuals who are not from our company is simple and hassle-free. We deal with external vendors all the time. Box enables me to generate a shared link and add the expiry date; I send the link, and we can collaborate. No account creation and access requests required.

Moreover, Box allows for desktop syncing. The moment I open a document in my laptop, it is synced on the cloud without even realizing it. This way, when I open a document on another machine, I get the most up-to-date version of it.

Another great feature is the commenting of files. I don't have to go back and forth in emails anymore to ask, "What was your opinion about page three?"

**What do you dislike about Box?**

The prices add up fast. The price per user for us becomes very significant as we are a rather large group. There are also some options we need, such as advanced admin options and logging functionality, which will cost us more.

The web-based application becomes sluggish when we open big folders with multiple files. The loading times when moving from one folder to another or opening any file become quite irritating.

Integration is possible yet not always smooth. Integrating Box with our CRM was a challenge in itself, and sometimes synchronization fails.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before the Box application, our team would email each other files. Somebody would download the attachment, make modifications, send it back, and now there were four copies. And none of us would know which was the latest one.
The Box application helped solve the problem of "versions chaos." Everybody works on the same file located in the same place. There is no need for "is this the latest?" anymore.
It also helped solve the issue of "I'm at home and cannot access this file." All information stored in Box can be accessed from anywhere using any device.
As far as external distribution goes, we used to use insecure methods. The Box application, however, allows you to share files with passwords and expiration date control.

  ### 7. All-in-One Secure Collaboration and Content Management in the Cloud

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arkajit D. | Chief Technology Officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

One thing that I really appreciate in Box is the way it integrates the functions of security, collaboration, and content management in one cloud application. This tool enables users to easily share, access, and manage their files online while at the same time ensuring adequate protection and governance of the information.

In addition, the collaboration feature in Box is rather helpful, especially the real-time sharing capability, the version control options, and the integration with workflows. Using the platform becomes essential in organizations where many teams create lots of documentation because it ensures that there is a centralized place where all documentation can be stored while being accessible with the right permissions.

One more positive aspect is that the tool integrates with various productivity and collaboration applications as well as with enterprise solutions.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Box also suffers from one major disadvantage in that when using huge file sizes or folder sizes, the platform may be slow.

One major problem with Box is that even though collaboration and sharing is quite easy and straightforward, the automation features of workflows are not very sophisticated as compared to other enterprise content management systems.

Access control and permissions also become complicated if one uses the platform in an environment where there are numerous users and documents. Pricing can also be a problem with enterprise-level features and storage capacity scaling becoming quite costly.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box solves the problem of secure management, organization, and collaboration when working with documents among teams and departments. Prior to using Box, documents were located in different places such as emails, local drives, and several shared drives. As a result, it became hard to organize collaboration and maintain document versions. Moreover, the distribution of sensitive information also required some effort.

Now that the company has switched to using Box, everything has changed dramatically. Documents are easily and centrally stored, accessed, and collaborated upon using a single system, irrespective of the team's or individual's location. Real-time collaboration and version tracking help reduce the time needed for making sure that document versions have been updated. Additionally, Box allows users to see which person is responsible for the document.

Moreover, the introduction of the cloud storage system has increased the level of workflow efficiency. Documents are easily accessible via a single centralized place and do not require going through emails or numerous shared folders. Document collaboration became easier since all activities associated with it are tracked by the system.

  ### 8. Simple, Reliable File Sharing with Time-Saving Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sankalp U. | Digital Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

What I like most about Box is how simple and reliable it is for managing and sharing files within our team. The UI is clean, and integrations are so much of a time saver. I also like how we can assign roles and permissions.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

Firstly, the thing I dislike about Box is that the platform can sometimes feel a bit slow when working with large files. Pricing also becomes expensive as our storage and team size grow. While I like the platform for how powerful it is, some advanced admin and permission settings have a bit of a learning curve.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box has helped us solve the challenge of managing and sharing files securely across teams. Instead of dealing with scattered documents and version confusion, everything stays organized in one place with easy access controls. It has improved collaboration significantly, especially for our marketing campaigns.

  ### 9. Secure Collaboration and Better Document Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikhil P. | Scholar Trainee, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

Strong security and compliance, with granular permissions, solid data governance, and support for regulated industries. The collaboration features are also very useful: teams can share files, leave comments, review documents, and work together without constantly emailing attachments back and forth.

**What do you dislike about Box?**

It can feel expensive compared with consumer-focused alternatives like Google Drive or Dropbox, especially for smaller teams. The interface can also be complex: while the enterprise features are powerful, some users may find the admin settings and permissions system more complicated than what you get with simpler file-sharing tools.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For productivity: “Box helps us keep everyone working from the same version of a document, which cuts down on confusion and helps decisions move faster.”

For security and compliance: “Box gives us stronger control over who can access files and adds auditability, which helps us meet regulatory requirements.”

  ### 10. Seamless, Secure File Collaboration with Box

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose P. | Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Box?**

What I like most about Box is how seamlessly it centralizes and secures all our files in the cloud. The platform makes collaboration straightforward, with reliable version control, easy sharing, and strong integrations with the tools we use every day. It keeps everything organized and accessible without complicating workflows

**What do you dislike about Box?**

One thing I dislike about Box is that some of the more advanced settings and admin controls can feel a bit scattered, which makes certain tasks less intuitive. At times, file previews or large uploads can also be slower than expected, especially when working with heavy content.

**What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Box helps solve the challenge of keeping files organized, secure, and accessible across teams and devices. It centralizes all our content in one place, which reduces duplication, improves version control, and makes collaboration much smoother. By having a reliable cloud platform with strong permissions and sharing features, we save time, avoid confusion, and maintain better control over our documents.
