What do you like best about BotGauge?

What I like best about BotGauge is how little time it took to get going. I connected it to our GitHub and Slack in one sitting, no back and forth with support needed. The interface is simple enough that I just describe what I want tested in plain English and it builds the test case.

The self healing part has genuinely saved me hours. Before, every small UI change meant going back and fixing broken tests. Now it just adapts and keeps running. Test runs are fast since everything executes in parallel, so I'm not sitting around waiting for results before a release.

Support has been quick every time I've reached out, usually same day. And for what we're paying, the coverage we get without hiring another QA person makes it an easy call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BotGauge?

The only thing I'd mention is the notification settings could use a bit more granularity. Right now I get alerted for every test run, and I'd prefer to only get pinged when something actually fails. Not a big deal, I just mute it during heavy testing days and check the report later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BotGauge solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before we started using BotGauge, regression testing ahead of every release took up a huge chunk of our sprint. We were manually clicking through the same flows over and over, and issues still slipped through because nobody wants to hunt down every edge case by hand at 6pm right before a release.

Now, most of that work is handled for us. We provide our key flows, and it keeps testing them without us having to rebuild scripts every time something in the UI changes. That alone has significantly reduced the time we used to spend on regression, and we’re catching bugs before they reach production instead of only hearing about them from users. Overall, it’s freed up my team to focus on building features rather than constantly babysitting test suites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
