## Bonusly Reviews
  ### 1. Building a Culture of Appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** bianca b. | Onboarding Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is how easy it is to recognize the people I work with. I use it whenever a teammate goes out of their way to help me or does a great job, and it's a nice way to show appreciation for the little things that often go unnoticed.

I also enjoy that it's rewarding for everyone. I make the most of the points I earn by redeeming rewards, which makes being recognized feel even more meaningful. Overall, Bonusly has made appreciation a more natural part of our team's culture, and I genuinely enjoy both giving and receiving recognition.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One thing I dislike about Bonusly is that the monthly points can run out quickly, especially if you want to recognize several teammates who have helped you throughout the month. There are times when I wish I had a few more points so I could acknowledge everyone's efforts. Aside from that, I've had a positive experience using it and appreciate how it encourages a culture of recognition within the team.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of recognition being overlooked in a busy work environment. It gives everyone an easy way to acknowledge the support, teamwork, and contributions of their colleagues, even for the small things that make a big difference.

For me, it's beneficial because it helps build a more positive and appreciative team culture. I enjoy recognizing my teammates when they've helped me, and it's also motivating to receive recognition from others. The rewards are an added bonus, making appreciation feel even more meaningful while encouraging everyone to continue supporting one another.

  ### 2. Bonusly Makes Peer-to-Peer Recognition Easy and Meaningful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aisxhel T. | Onboarding Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is how it makes employee recognition a natural part of everyday work. I especially appreciate its peer-to-peer approach and the way recognition is tied to company values, because it encourages collaboration, reinforces positive behaviors, and helps employees feel genuinely appreciated. The seamless integration with tools like Slack also makes recognition quick and meaningful instead of feeling like another administrative task.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One potential drawback is that if recognition isn't used thoughtfully, it can become routine or feel like a popularity contest, with some employees receiving more visibility than others. I think that's less of a limitation of Bonusly itself and more about how organizations implement it. With clear guidelines and active manager participation, it can remain fair, meaningful, and aligned with company values.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of employee recognition being infrequent, inconsistent, or limited to manager feedback. By making it easy for peers to recognize each other's contributions in real time, it helps create a culture where good work is noticed and appreciated.

For me, that means feeling more connected to my team, knowing that my contributions are visible, and receiving timely feedback that motivates me to continue doing my best work. I also like that recognition is tied to company values, which reinforces positive behaviors and encourages collaboration across teams

  ### 3. Easy, Visible Recognition That Boosts Morale and Team Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John Samuel M. | Onboarding Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is that it makes it easy to recognize and appreciate my teammates' efforts. It encourages a positive work culture, boosts morale, and helps everyone feel valued for their contributions. I also like that the recognition is visible to the team, which promotes collaboration and motivates people to keep doing their best.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Overall, I don't dislike much about Bonusly. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to expand the reward catalog and make earning points a little easier.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the problem of employee recognition by making it easy to acknowledge teammates for their contributions. It benefits me by creating a more positive work environment where people feel appreciated, which helps boost motivation, teamwork, and engagement.

  ### 4. Simple, Fast Teammate Recognition That Boosts Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trina A. | Application Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is how simple and quick it is to recognize teammates. The interface is user-friendly, it integrates well with our daily tools, and the rewards system encourages employee engagement and appreciation. Overall, it has made recognition more consistent and helped foster a positive team culture.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The reward catalog could offer a wider range of options, and some integrations could be smoother and more seamless. Adding more AI-powered insights and stronger personalization would also make the platform even more valuable overall.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly addresses the challenge of recognizing employees consistently by making peer-to-peer recognition fast and simple. It has strengthened team engagement, lifted morale, and helped build a more consistent culture of appreciation across our organization.

  ### 5. Bonusly is a great way to recognize colleagues in the workplace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that the rewards given by bonusly tie compliments/feedback/appreciate with a small monetary gift that gives those you work with a boost throughout the day. It's always fun to receive rewards.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Cashing in bonusly feels good until I see the tax hit on my next paycheck for taking out the rewards. In the end I come away with more money, but it always catches me off guard when I cash in and see my next paycheck lower.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is solving the problem of making people in the org feel seen and recognized for the work they do. By putting this tool in the hands of employees and individual contributors, you are more likely to recognize everyone in the company for their efforts than if just a manager is able to give praise to team members. I think people sense of belonging and pride in work is increased by having this simple tool available.

  ### 6. A great service for employee morale boosting!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I appreciate that this platform allows us to recognize both team members and cross-functional partners for the entire company to see. It's a meaningful way to strengthen collaboration, celebrate contributions, and build camaraderie across teams. The available GIFs and hashtags also add an engaging, fun element that makes each post more personal and memorable. There are so many great options for gift cards at many dollar values to cashout.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Nothing, every workplace should have Bonusly!

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly creates a culture of frequent recognition. Instead of waiting for annual reviews or quarterly awards, recognition happens immediately after great work, reinforcing the behaviors you want to see more often. It makes invisible work visible. Many high-impact contributions happen behind the scenes or across departments. When employees recognize one another, you gain insight into work you may not have otherwise seen. It strengthens cross-functional relationships. People who feel recognized are generally more engaged, motivated, and connected to their work.

  ### 7. Best Recognition System!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly has been a game changer for our team! It's such a fun and easy way to recognize coworkers for all the little (and big) things they do every day. The platform is super user-friendly, and it's helped build a more positive, appreciative culture where people actually enjoy celebrating each other's wins. I love that recognition feels genuine and frequent instead of something that's only done once a year. It definitely boosts morale and makes everyone feel valued. Highly recommend Bonusly to any team looking to make appreciation part of their everyday culture!

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Limited reward system in some aspects wish there were more gift cards, charities, or redemption choices, especially outside the U.S

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the challenge of making employee recognition consistent and meaningful instead of something that's only done during annual reviews or special occasions. It makes it easy to recognize coworkers in real time for their contributions, which has helped create a more positive and collaborative work environment. Personally, I appreciate receiving timely recognition for my work, and I enjoy being able to celebrate my teammates' accomplishments just as easily. It has strengthened team morale, encouraged collaboration, and made appreciation part of our everyday culture.

  ### 8. Its funny to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best is how easy it makes recognizing teammates in real time. The peer-to-peer points system keeps recognition frequent and public, so good work doesn't go unnoticed, and tying bonuses to company values reinforces the behaviors we actually care about. Redeeming points for rewards I'll genuinely use is a nice touch too.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

My main dislike is that recognition can start to feel a bit routine or performative once it becomes a habit, so the meaning behind a bonus sometimes gets diluted. I'd also like more reward options relevant to my region, since the catalog feels more tailored to some markets than others.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of recognition being infrequent and top-down. Before, appreciation depended on managers remembering to say something, so a lot of good work went unacknowledged. Now recognition is peer-to-peer and continuous, which has made it far more genuine and timely. For me, that means the effort I put in gets noticed by the people I actually work with day to day, not just at review time. It has also made cross-team collaboration easier, since it's simple to publicly thank someone in another department for their help. Overall it keeps morale and motivation higher, and it gives visibility to contributions that used to stay invisible.

  ### 9. A Rare Workplace Tool that Employees will Actually WANT to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly Review: 5/5 ⭐

Bonusly is one of those rare workplace tools that people actually want to use. Instead of recognition getting lost in annual reviews, Bonusly makes it easy to celebrate wins as they happen—whether it's helping a teammate out of a jam, finishing a big project, or just being an awesome coworker.

The platform is simple, engaging, and surprisingly fun. Sending recognition takes seconds, and the points system adds a little excitement without feeling gimmicky. It's also a great way to see all the positive things happening across the company, which helps build a culture of appreciation.

Redeeming points for gift cards, donations, and other rewards is straightforward, making the recognition feel meaningful instead of just symbolic.

If I had one wish, it would be an unlimited supply of bonus points so I could recognize everyone who deserves it! Until then, Bonusly does a fantastic job turning everyday appreciation into something memorable.

Highly recommended for any company that wants to boost morale, encourage teamwork, and remind employees that their efforts don't go unnoticed.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Need more incentives. I definitely looked forward to a variety of incentive choices, those were fun to try and complete!

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 10. Great platform to recognize people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep A.

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly promotes engagement across teams and locations. It helps strengthen collaboration, boosts morale, and fosters a sense of connection among colleagues. Bonusly is easy to use and seamlessly integrates into the flow of work. The platform makes giving recognition quick and effortless, which increases participation and makes appreciation a regular habit. Bonusly helps reinforce positive behaviors and company values by recognizing contributions publicly. It creates transparency, encourages teamwork, and helps build a culture of appreciation across the organization. Bonusly is a stream lined process for recognition by allowing appreciation to come from anyone, not just managers. This provides a more complete picture of employee impact and helps create a stronger, more inclusive recognition culture.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One area for improvement is the limited bonus allocation available each month. Sometimes it can be difficult to recognize everyone who deserves appreciation, especially in highly collaborative environments. While the rewards are appreciated, expanding the variety of redemption options and regional choices could make the platform even more appealing for a diverse workforce.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the challenge of ensuring employee contributions are recognized in a timely and visible manner. It helps highlight the impact of both large and small accomplishments, making me feel appreciated and motivated to continue contributing effectively. It also solves the problem of delayed or inconsistent recognition by providing a simple, real-time way to celebrate achievements. For me, this creates greater motivation, reinforces positive behaviors, and fosters a stronger sense of connection with my colleagues and the organization's values.

  ### 11. You get recognized, and you get rewarded

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanna P. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how intuitive and easy Bonusly is to navigate. It's quick to recognize teammates, and I enjoy being able to personalize recognitions with GIFs. I also like that you can reply to recognitions, making them more interactive. The seasonal themes, like the summer theme, are a fun touch that keeps the platform feeling engaging.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

My only suggestion would be to make the PayPal redemption amounts more flexible. Currently, there's a jump from $1 to $10, so redeeming an amount like $6 requires six separate $1 transactions. It would be great if users could choose a custom redemption amount instead.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Bonusly helps bring our team closer together. It's fun to use, encourages people to recognize each other's hard work, and creates a culture where appreciation is part of the workday. I also love that recognition turns into something tangible through the points system. It makes being recognized feel even more meaningful, and I think it's a really great idea overall.

  ### 12. Easy way to engage the team and incentivize collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love that it's a quick and impactful way to share gratitude to team members. It takes it a step beyond a quick shout out in Slack, and actually puts a little bit of monetary value behind the kudos. I also love the data and analytics portion-- the competitor in me loves to see where I line up in my team and in the greater org with how many points I've earned.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Not many negatives! There's plenty of storefronts to choose from when cashing out points for gifts. My only feedback would be having a more simple way to do fundraisers or charity drives through Bonusly.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve a benefits piece for our company-- it's real dollar value that we're putting into our teams hands, and that's great. As a fully-remote company, it's hard to show gratitude to colleagues the way I would in a traditional office (I can't just buy someone a coffee or treat them to lunch) so this is the equivalent of that.

  ### 13. Great Employee Program with Amazing Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is how easy it is for employees to recognize one another and celebrate the great work happening across the company. The platform is engaging, user-friendly, and helps make recognition more visible and meaningful. Just as importantly, the support we received from the Bonusly team was outstanding, both as we prepared for our rollout and after we launched. They have been responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making the program successful for us.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The biggest challenge has been that Bonusly is not fully integrated with our HRIS system, which made the initial exchange of employee information more difficult than anticipated. I do not believe this was within Bonusly’s control, and their team was very helpful in working through the issues with us.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is helping us build a stronger culture of recognition by making it easy for employees to recognize one another in real time. It gives great work more visibility, encourages recognition across departments and locations, and reinforces the values and behaviors that are important to our company. It also gives us another meaningful way to engage employees and helps people feel seen and appreciated for their contributions.

  ### 14. Fun way to recognize appreciation among cp-workers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What a great way to recognize appreciation and achievement among co-workers. This gives me a chance to reward fellow co-workers when I feel they have really gone above and beyond in their daily task. This program gives them a chance to spend their Bonusly on some rewards that won't even touch their monthly home budget. Additionally reading all the fun posts how my colleagues are recognized just make this a fun experience.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Watching others abuse it and give out point for no reason or to the same person over and over, really taking the recognition for achievement out of the product; however, it isn't a fault of the product, but of the users so really I think it is a great designed social media like application.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allow me to recognize others where their managers may miss how they go above and beyond, and allows me (users) the opportunity to give others instant bonus' rather then waiting until the end of the year.

  ### 15. Simple, Visible Recognition with Real Rewards That Keeps Teams Engaged

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edson O. | Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It stands out because it makes recognition simple, visible, and tied to real rewards. Employees can quickly recognize each other with points and messages—often directly from tools like Slack or Teams—and those points can be redeemed for meaningful rewards, which keeps engagement high. It also reinforces company culture through a public recognition feed and value-based tagging, while giving managers useful insights into team dynamics through analytics. On top of that, features like automated celebrations for milestones and lightweight feedback tools help maintain consistent engagement without adding extra administrative work.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

It works well for recognition, but it has some gaps. Rewards can feel limited or slow to earn, the platform depends heavily on active participation to be effective, and its analytics are relatively basic compared to more robust HR tools. Some users also mention usability hiccups and the need for a solid budget to keep rewards meaningful.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the common problem of employees feeling undervalued due to inconsistent or delayed recognition. By enabling quick, peer-to-peer appreciation with real rewards, it keeps recognition constant and visible. This benefits you by boosting team morale, increasing engagement, and giving you clearer insight into contributions, which helps build a stronger, more motivated team overall.

  ### 16. Excellent Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I've had a positive experience using Bonusly. The platform makes it easy to recognize coworkers for their contributions, celebrate wins, and reinforce a culture of appreciation. The interface is intuitive, and giving recognition is quick and straightforward, which encourages more frequent and meaningful peer-to-peer recognition.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One thing I'd like to see is continued expansion of reporting and customization options, but overall the experience has been excellent.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the challenge of ensuring employee recognition happens consistently rather than only during formal reviews or major milestones. It makes it easy to acknowledge teammates for their everyday contributions, which helps build a culture of appreciation and strengthens collaboration across teams. For me, it's been a simple way to recognize colleagues in real time and celebrate the work that often goes unnoticed. Seeing recognition from others also boosts morale and helps reinforce the positive impact people have across the organization.

  ### 17. Revolutionized Team Morale with Instant Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haritha P. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly for peer-to-peer recognition, which has really changed team morale. Being able to thank someone instantly with points when they cover a shift or lend a hand is fantastic. The Slack integration makes it super easy to use, and people get excited about redeeming points for Amazon gift cards or donating to charity. Bonusly makes recognition instant, public, and peer-to-peer, which means I can give recognition to my coworker at any time with points and a GIF. This really helps with those 'getting-lost thanks.' I especially recommend it for remote teams, as it helps new joiners become part of the team quickly. I love that anyone can recognize anyone and that it's easy to use, with the bonus of tangible redeemable gift cards that can be used for shopping, groceries, and movies. The initial setup was fast, taking under an hour, and the integration with our HRIS synced everyone automatically, making the rollout smooth. No IT help was needed, and it connected easily with Slack company-wide.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Monthly allowances reset whether you use them or not. If I'm out of office and miss a week, I lose points to give. A rollover option would be fine.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly for peer recognition, boosting team morale instantly, not just during reviews. It's public, peer-to-peer, so nothing gets lost in Slack. New joiners feel integrated quickly, and it's super easy with Slack integration for giving points.

  ### 18. Easy Recognition with Helpful Reminders, Slack Integration, and New AI Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Spiritual Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It’s very easy to use. I especially like the reminders to recognize my team, including the bar that shows which team members I’ve recognized this month and how long it’s been since I last did so. The Slack integration is a nice touch—though it can be a bit noisy—and I’ve never had any issues with the site’s responsiveness or overall performance. The onboarding was quick and easy, and the recent introduction of AI tools for recognition just increases the ROI.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I wish we didn't have to pay taxes on the rewards we redeem through Bonusly, but that's an issue with the American tax code and not with the site itself.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure we recognize our teammates, co-workers, and direct reports is easier than ever. Before Bonusly, we used a homegrown recognition solution that led to VERY sporadic recognition and rewards that felt hard to earn. Bonusly has made recognition quicker and simpler, and it feels more meaningful and valuable overall.

  ### 19. Bonusly Makes Working Better

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is an easy-to-use employee recognition platform that makes workplace appreciation more engaging and rewarding. Its seamless integrations, reliable performance, and intuitive onboarding help teams recognize achievements effortlessly. The points-based rewards system adds excitement to peer recognition, while engagement insights provide valuable visibility into team culture. Overall, Bonusly delivers strong value by fostering collaboration, boosting morale, and creating a more positive work environment.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One improvement I’d like to see in Bonusly is a more advanced search and filtering system. As recognition posts accumulate, it can sometimes take extra time to find specific shout-outs or past achievements. Enhanced search capabilities and additional filter options would make it easier to locate recognition history and track employee accomplishments. Despite this, Bonusly remains a valuable platform for fostering appreciation and engagement across teams.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps address the lack of consistent recognition in the workplace by making it easy for employees to acknowledge and celebrate each other's contributions. It encourages a culture of appreciation, ensuring that achievements and positive efforts don't go unnoticed. For me, it strengthens team connections, promotes collaboration, and serves as a reminder of the meaningful accomplishments and positive experiences we share with our colleagues. This creates a more supportive, motivated, and engaged work environment.

  ### 20. Bonusly is a fantastic, easy-to-use platform for recognizing coworkers and building morale!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | IT Manager, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly provides such an easy way to recognize the contributions that your coworkers make each and every day. The familiar interface, similar to social media, make it easy to navigate and interact with. Plus, the ability to utilize media like GIFs in posts really makes the system engaging and, dare I say, entertaining! Our organization integrates Bonusly with Okta for single sign-on, so it makes it extremely easy for our employees to access. To top it all off, the interface is quick and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There isn't much to dislike, to be honest. If I were to be really picky, I would prefer there to not be any fees associated with cashing out your points via PayPal, but I understand that those fees are from PayPal and not Bonusly directly, so there may not be anything that can be done to address this.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way for coworkers to recognize and encourage one another and Bonusly provides a great solution for that need. Employees love using Bonusly to thank their coworkers. Plus, we use Bonusly to issue prizes for company-wide recognitions, and to set rewards for following through with certain goals that the company establishes.

  ### 21. The easiest way to build a culture of recognition.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vasanth J. | Media Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The best thing about Bonusly is how effortless it makes peer recognition. I can appreciate a teammate in seconds, and that simplicity means it actually gets used regularly. Earning and redeeming rewards adds a fun element, and over time it has genuinely boosted our team morale. It turns everyday appreciation into something meaningful and rewarding for everyone involved.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The monthly points limit feels a bit restrictive, especially during busy months when there are multiple people to recognize. A little more flexibility in points allocation would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of unrecognized efforts in a busy workplace. In fast-paced teams, good work often goes unnoticed Bonusly makes it easy to call that out instantly. It has helped build a culture of appreciation on our team, where everyone feels seen and valued. The rewards system also adds a fun motivation layer, making recognition more than just words. Overall, it has improved team engagement and made collaboration feel more rewarding.

  ### 22. Bonusly: Encouraging Appreciation Across the Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly makes it easy to recognize teammates for their efforts, collaboration, and contributions in a meaningful way. It encourages a culture of appreciation by allowing team members to give recognition along with points that can be redeemed as rewards, helping reinforce positive behaviors and celebrate achievements across the team.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I'd like to see more points allocated each month. It would encourage more frequent recognition and make it easier to acknowledge teammates' efforts and collaboration throughout the month.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of recognizing teammates' efforts in a timely and visible way. It makes it easy to acknowledge collaboration, support, and achievements across the team instead of waiting for formal reviews. For me, it's a great way to show appreciation for colleagues who go above and beyond, and it helps create a more positive, collaborative culture where people's contributions are recognized.

  ### 23. Great Tool for Employee Recognition and Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is easy to use and makes it simple to recognize coworkers for their contributions. The interface is intuitive, the recognition process takes only a few seconds, and the rewards catalog offers a good variety of redemption options. It helps create a positive culture by encouraging employees to appreciate each other's work.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Overall, my experience has been positive. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be adding more reward options in some regions and providing additional customization for recognition categories and reporting. Otherwise, the platform has been reliable and easy to use.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly makes employee recognition simple and consistent. It encourages team members to acknowledge each other's contributions, which helps improve engagement and morale. The rewards system provides additional motivation, and having recognition in one place makes it easy to celebrate accomplishments across the organization.

  ### 24. Unresponsive Support and Unreliable Zapier Integration—Plus a Costly 5% Fee

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's really useful, and my employees love it. The app is easy to use, and I love that it connects to Zapier (although the integration is not always reliable).

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

It is impossible to get in touch with anyone. They only offer email support, and I have waited 6 days to hear back from their Engineering team about an urgent issue with their Zapier integration. (Their integration suddenly stopped working for us, which rendered all of our zaps useless - which is a big part of how we reward our employees.) They also take 5% on top of every reward that gets distributed, which adds up quickly when you give out as much in incentives as we do.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to allow our employees to recognize each other for for their efforts.

  ### 25. Bonusly keep me inform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

- as eng manager Bonusly keep me inform what workday miss in many waysAs Engineering Manager, Bonusly keeps me informed about what Workday is missing in many ways.
- Bonusly makes it easy to recognize teammates in real time and celebrate contributions across the organization.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

As an engineering leader, I'd like to see stronger integration with engineering work (e.g., major launches, incident response, mentoring, and cross-team contributions) so recognition reflects impact rather than just visibility.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of timely and visible employee recognition. Instead of appreciation only happening during performance reviews or manager one-on-ones, it enables peers to recognize each other's contributions as they happen. For me, it increases visibility into the impact of my team and colleagues, helps celebrate cross-functional collaboration, and reinforces positive behaviors that align with our company values.

  ### 26. Great platform for employee recognition!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is an employee recognition and rewards platform that drives engagement by combining peer-to-peer shoutouts with a flexible rewards catalog. It boosts morale, improves team retention, and provides actionable analytics on company culture and employee performance.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

While Bonusly is highly regarded for its gamified, peer-to-peer approach, common drawbacks include rigid monthly point allowances that can feel restrictive, limited reward catalogs, and a risk of turning recognition into a "popularity contest." Additionally, unused points often expire, leading to forced or insincere shout-outs at month's end.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is a peer-to-peer recognition platform designed to solve low employee morale, siloed communication, and the invisibility of everyday workplace contributions. By allowing coworkers to reward each other with points that can be redeemed for gift cards or charitable donations, it helps combat employee burnout and increases retention.

  ### 27. A User-Friendly Platform for Employee Recognition and Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mrunmay J. | Research Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like the most about bonusly is its innovative approach to recognising and appreciating colleagues for their contributions and support. It provides a simple yet effective way to acknowledge help in real time, making recognition frequent, visible, and meaningful within the team.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One area that could be improved in Bonusly is the range and flexibility of reward options, which can sometimes feel limited depending on the region. Additionally, while the platform is generally easy to use, enhancing customization features or providing more personalization options could further improve the overall experience.

These are relatively minor aspects, but addressing them would make the platform even more effective and engaging.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly addresses the challenge of recognizing and appreciating contributions in a timely and consistent manner within a team. In many workplaces, recognition can be infrequent or informal, which may lead to efforts going unnoticed. Bonusly solves this by providing a structured and visible platform for peer-to-peer recognition.

For me, this is beneficial because it makes appreciation more immediate and meaningful. It helps foster a positive work environment, improves team morale, and encourages collaboration by acknowledging support and contributions regularly.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Nothing at the moment, it's a very cool app

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly allows me to send recognition on a company forum that goes beyond just messaging "Thanks, I appreciate you" and also allows me to receive the same kudos. It benefits me as I feel acknowledged for the work I do whilst also receiving monetary perks, such as AirBnB vouchers

  ### 29. Boosts Team Recognition and Morale Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nickky I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly to give points to my co-workers as a form of appreciation in the work settings. Bonusly helps create a culture of recognition and collaboration within the team. I appreciate that Bonusly allows me to redeem points whenever I like, with the option to choose any merchants that are partnered with them. What I enjoy about Bonusly is that it makes recognition immediate and visible, offering a simple way to acknowledge both big accomplishments and everyday contributions that might otherwise go unnoticed. The ability to redeem points for rewards makes recognition feel more meaningful and gives employees an extra incentive to contribute and support their teammates. The initial setup is super easy; I just sign in directly using my work Gmail account.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One area that could be improved is the variety and availability of rewards, as having more options would make point redemption more appealing to a wider range of employees. It would also be helpful to have more detailed insights or reporting on recognition trends, making it easier to understand team engagement and celebrate contributions more effectively.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps create a culture of recognition and collaboration within the team. It reduces investigation time, assists in providing faster resolutions, and makes recognition immediate and visible. Points can be redeemed for rewards, giving extra incentive to support teammates.

  ### 30. I have a great experience using Bonusly. It has helped to recognize and appreciate the peers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly makes it easy to recognize and appreciate coworkers for their contributions. It helps build a positive workplace culture and motivates employees by celebrating their achievements.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes recognition feels more focused on highly visible work, while quieter contributions can be missed. I also think expanding the reward options would make the platform even more engaging.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

> Bonusly solves the problem of making employee recognition timely, visible, and consistent. It provides an easy way for teammates and managers to acknowledge each other's contributions, which helps build a culture of appreciation. For me, it's motivating to have my work recognized by peers, and it also helps me see and celebrate the great work others are doing across the team, strengthening collaboration and engagement.

  ### 31. A great way to reward colleagues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris W.

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Giving recognition to your colleagues and actually having a tangible reward from it in the form of exchanging reward points for vouchers is great.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

My team and I are split to support different projects teams through the year, this means we need could do with a short cut way of creating a project team to then reward in one post rather than stating each persons name one by one hoping we don't forget someone! It would be nice to be able to setup a project team and then be able to delete that project team once the project is over. Essentially creating custom groups to reward by given that team a nickname so I only have to @team in the post which will save time each time I go to reward them. This feature would sit nicely under the "Create New..." option, for example.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing visibility of colleagues and the good work they are doing in a world where more work from home.

  ### 32. Bonusly Makes Recognition and Rewards Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis J. | Accountant / Closing Auditor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is an extraordinary tool for recognizing and incentivizing co-workers. What I like most is how easy it is to give and receive bonuses or incentives with teammates, and how simple it is to redeem those bonuses, points, and incentives when you’re ready.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I only get 100 points per month to give away, hahaha. I know this isn’t really something related to Bonsuly and is more of an employer policy, but I’d prefer to receive more points so I can share them and better incentivize my teammates when they exceed their KPIs.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t think this is a problem per se, but Bonsuly helps people give and receive recognition within the team rather than only from upper management. Because of that, the incentive system can sometimes feel more “democratic.”

  ### 33. Thought it was cheesy at first, but then began to enjoy giving (and receiving) Bonusly rewards!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how simple it is to give recognition to my colleagues and I love that they can use those points to purchase legitimate things of value to them. I have also really enjoyed receiving the recognition of my colleagues. It's super easy, from Slack or from the Bonusly website, to quickly send someone some points.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Honestly, I don't have a lot of complaints. I guess I'd love for the points to go a bit further?

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps to create a culture of recognition for small things. At most of my employers, recognition was reserved for bigger accomplishments--closing deals, or meeting deadlines, or finishing a project. Bonusly, however, makes giving and receiving recognitions for small things reasonable and enjoyable.

  ### 34. Bonusly helps me realize how my employee and myself are recognized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how interactive it is. It's like social media in a way, it allows you to check in on who is important in your team especially with the scoreboards, almost like a video game, you can see who is the MVP.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The lack of credits you get refills every month. I feel like we need more, atleast 150 because it restricts the amount of recognition you can give, especially if you want to give enough for your whole team!

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves weak peer recognition, hidden contributions, and low morale by providing the real-time, peer-to-peer rewards. It benefits me by boosting motivation, celebrating milestones across teams, and offering flexible rewards like gift cards or other donations.

  ### 35. Great engagement that provides an awesome boost of energy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AnaLucia V.

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like to use GIFs, emoticons and making everything quite casual. It's not on "on your face" kind of boring Congratulations, but instead a chill vibe, like you are Whatsapp-ing with a colleague.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There are not a lot of general options to use Bonusly on, like mental health vouchers, more grocery stores, etc. In these times, you don't need another videogame, we need grosseries and normal stuff. Also, I think there should be an incentive to use bonusly, for example, if you get X amount of bonuslys in a month you get additional points, or if you give X you also could get a bonus.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saying thank you to your pears, staying connected while working remotely.

  ### 36. i love this app it allows me and my team to give shout outs and congrats on tasks completed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly makes it easy to recognize coworkers for their hard work and support. It's nice to be able to show appreciation and celebrate the positive impact people have on the team. 😊

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't have any major dislikes. Bonusly is easy to use and does a great job encouraging employee recognition and appreciation.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the problem of making sure employees feel recognized and appreciated for their hard work. It gives team members an easy way to acknowledge each other's contributions and celebrate successes. This benefits me by helping create a more positive work environment, boosting morale, and making me feel valued when my efforts are recognized by my coworkers and leaders.

  ### 37. Bonusly: Praise that lands in the moment, not only at yearly reviews

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Giving someone credit takes ten seconds and happens where the work already does, in Slack. People see it. The small point balance each month forces you to spend it, so praise flows sideways between peers instead of only down from managers. Tying each bonus to a company value keeps it from turning into empty applause.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The feed rewards whoever is loudest and most online. Quiet engineers who ship hard things get less than the people who run demos.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good work used to surface twice a year in a form. Now it surfaces the day it happens, and I have a written record to point at when I write reviews and promotion cases for my teammates.

  ### 38. Excellent Way to Recognize Teammates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly makes it easy to recognize and appreciate coworkers for their contributions. The platform is simple to use, encourages a positive work culture, and the rewards system makes recognition more meaningful and engaging.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There isn't much to dislike. If I had to mention one thing, it would be great to have an even wider variety of reward options and more ways to personalize the recognition experience.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the challenge of recognizing employees' contributions in a timely and meaningful way. It makes appreciation more visible, encourages teamwork, and boosts engagement by giving everyone an easy way to celebrate achievements. This has helped create a more positive work environment where recognition is frequent and motivating.

  ### 39. Great bonus & rewards tool for the entire team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elliott V. | PPC Team Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's very easy to use! The fact that everybody in the company can use it from top level management to new junior starters makes it very collaborative and helps us recognise and shout about people at all levels

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One possible downside to using Bonusly is that if you work for a fairly large company, each individual's pot needs to be sufficient so they have credits to last a full calendar month before they reset

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly is helping our company solve recognition and praise in a remote/flexible working company who aren't based in one office full-time. The benefit of everyone seeing recognition and praise at all levels fosters a rewarding and helpful company culture.

  ### 40. Such a wonderful motivator and way to show appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Easy to use, tons of appropriate gif's to use to express emotion - much easier than trying to go out and get small gifts to show appreciation

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Login can sometimes be finicky. The variation in gift card amounts of the retailers when cashing in Bonusly points - some start at 5 dollars and others 20 dollars. It would be nice if all gift cards started with at least 10 dollars

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to quickly show appreciation to team members and build up team trust - team building. Being able to do this quickly and be able to share with employees that may we working remotely all over the country without mailing gifts

  ### 41. Great way to recognise colleagues and a great motivator for the team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly gives people a chance to recognise others in the company who may not be very visible outside of their teams - an example being our engineers. I also like that you need to specify at least one of our company values a person has exhibited when giving Bonusly points - it keeps our values at the forefront of everyone's minds.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

A way to pool unused points into a shared bucket to use if you use up all of your points would be great - I regularly run out of points as I have a big team and want to recognise them often, whereas others do not use all of their points. Alternatively, a way to transfer points to someone else to give.

Better analytics too - it only recognises you giving points per post, not per person within the post

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great boost for people to receive public recognition for their efforts

  ### 42. Excellent tool for recognizing colleagues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The social feed feels more like a "work-friendly Instagram" than a corporate tool.

Features: The ability to add GIFs, images, and emojis makes the feed fun to read.

Add-on bonuses: Colleagues can "add on" to an existing recognition, which creates a compounding effect of appreciation for a specific project.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The most common complaint from regular users is that they simply run out of points too quickly.

When you have a large team or a very collaborative week, you might run out of points by the 10th of the month.

Users feel "guilty" when they can't recognize a peer’s hard work because their "wallet" is empty, which can temporarily stall the momentum of a recognition culture.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Small wins and "behind-the-scenes" help would go unnoticed. Only major project completions get a shout-out in the monthly newsletter. Bonusly ensures daily contributions are seen by peers and managers in real-time.

  ### 43. Bonusly Empowers Colleagues to Recognize the Accomplishments of Others

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judy Z. | Outreach Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

They now offer items that you can buy directly without having to get a giftcard - it's cool!

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There was a way to more easily see who I had recognized and who had recognized me. The information is still there, but it's a challgenge to find.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving employees a way of recognizing each other with something tangible/real. It encourages me to really do my best for people and makes me feel good when I am able to recognize someone for their efforts. I also really like the fact that the posts are all visible to all participating employees.

  ### 44. team morale + extra money = win!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Being able to give Bonusly recognition to my team members has completely changed my mindset in the workplace. I am so much more aware of people making a positive impact and feel incentivized to make a post for them when I notice it. Plus it's so much fun posting those GIFs in the post!

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One thing that is frustrating is the UI changes. Once you get used to something it can be hard to adapt to the new look/location of things when you're just trying to make a recognition post.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a stress free and easy way to recognize people without having to go over board with effort.

  ### 45. Employee Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that it is extremely user friendly, even from an administrator standpoint. In addition, I love that it offers employees a benefit at no cost. Plus it recognizes employees that continually excel in their role whereas that recognition may have never gone noticed without Bonusly.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The points increments. I wish they had more options, most gift cards are only increments of $5, $10, $25, $50, and $100.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, Bonusly is helping to solve the issue of appreciation and value. Bonusly gives noticed and appreciation to the little things that people in our company do behind the scenes. I cannot imagine how these deeds would go noticed without Bonusly.

  ### 46. Great way to recognize peers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love that we get to recognize people who make our work place great. It's wonderful to give rewards to peers every month in a way they can really appreciate. It helps us see what is going on in our workplace since we are all remote. And I really do enjoy the rewards--I use them constantly and it is a boost to get something tangible from your peers that you can enjoy.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I run out of points too early each month without realizing there's something coming up I should save them for. :p

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps connect everyone as we are all remote. It helps us feel appreciated day-to-day.

  ### 47. Positive and fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas W.

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

We’ve had a great experience with Bonusly. It’s incredibly easy to use—no friction, no training required—which means people actually use it consistently instead of it becoming another forgotten tool.

What really stands out is how motivating it is, both individually and as a team. The public recognition feed adds a layer of visibility that reinforces positive behavior in real time, not just during formal reviews. It creates a steady drumbeat of appreciation that feels authentic, not forced.

The social element is also a win—the GIFs and lighthearted tone make it fun without undermining the value of the recognition. It strikes a rare balance between being meaningful and engaging.

Overall, it’s a simple system that punches above its weight in driving culture and morale.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Can feel transactional
The points system works, but it can shift recognition toward “earning” rather than genuine appreciation if people start thinking in terms of points.
Recognition quality varies
Some shoutouts are thoughtful and specific, others are generic. The impact really depends on how intentional people are.
Budget caps limit momentum
Monthly point limits keep things controlled, but they can feel restrictive—especially when you want to recognize more in a high-output stretch.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves a pretty fundamental problem: recognition was inconsistent, delayed, and often invisible. Good work would happen, but only a small portion of it got acknowledged—and usually only in private or during formal reviews.

Bonusly fixes that by making recognition immediate, easy, and visible.

  ### 48. A great way to recognize, celebrate, and thank your peers and teams for their efforts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's very easy to use and allows you to personalize your messages with GIFs and memes, making recognitions more engaging and fun. Plus, the points received can also be redeemed for real rewards.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Bonusly. One area for improvement would be search and filtering: Make it easier to find past recognitions, especially in large organizations with high activity.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps make recognition visible, simple, and timely. It creates an easy way to celebrate contributions, thank colleagues, and acknowledge collaboration across teams that might otherwise go unnoticed.

For me, it has helped strengthen team engagement and foster a culture of appreciation.

  ### 49. Bonusly: Makes recognition visible and part of the daily workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly has made peer recognition at our company feel natural instead of forced. The tight integration with our existing tools (especially Slack and SSO) means people can give a shoutout in the same place they already collaborate, so recognition actually happens instead of being an HR checkbox. Posts are public by default, which helps amplify wins across teams and gives people visibility they might not otherwise get.

I also like how easy it is to tie recognition to company values using hashtags. Over time you start to see patterns around which values are really being lived, which teams are highly collaborative, and who is quietly having a big impact behind the scenes. The redemption side is straightforward, and people appreciate having a mix of options like gift cards, donations, and swag.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The allowance model is great for nudging regular recognition, but it does create an “end of month rush” where people remember they still have points to give. That can lead to a small spike of generic shoutouts instead of more thoughtful, timely ones.

The reward catalog is solid overall, but international teams can occasionally feel a bit constrained in terms of locally relevant options. There are also moments where managers would like more flexibility—either to delegate their budget while they’re out, or to temporarily give a bit more in a crunch period—and that isn’t as smooth as it could be.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes good work visible across org lines. People who don’t naturally self-promote still get recognition when peers and partners tag them in posts, which helps with morale and career visibility.

Reinforces company values in a concrete way. Hashtags and examples in the feed turn abstract values into real behaviors you can point to.

Encourages frequent, lightweight appreciation. Because it’s easy to give a small amount of points with a short note, recognition doesn’t wait for performance review season.

Provides a simple rewards path. The fact that points convert into meaningful rewards makes the appreciation feel tangible without turning it into a complex incentive system.

Overall, Bonusly is a strong fit if you want a lightweight but impactful way to build a culture of appreciation and make recognition part of the operating system of the company, not a once-a-year event.

  ### 50. Bonusly a great tool for building a culture of recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly is a great tool for building a culture of recognition. It makes it easy for team members to appreciate each other in real time, and the rewards system adds a fun incentive. It’s simple to use and has definitely improved team morale.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

One downside is that the impact depends heavily on team participation, if people aren’t actively using it, the value drops quickly.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of inconsistent and often overlooked employee recognition. In many workplaces, good work can go unnoticed due to busy schedules, lack of visibility (especially for remote employees), or reliance on managers to give recognition. This can lead to lower morale and disengagement.

By enabling peer-to-peer recognition in real time, Bonusly makes it easy for anyone on the team to acknowledge contributions as they happen. It also brings visibility to achievements across the organization through a shared feed, helping ensure that efforts don’t go unnoticed.

For me, the biggest benefit is feeling more connected and appreciated at work. It reinforces positive behaviors, boosts motivation, and creates a more supportive team culture. The points-based rewards system adds an extra incentive, while also making recognition feel tangible and meaningful.
