What problems is Bombiix PLM, DPPs, PIM and DAM solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were working with multiple spread sheets holding data meant data was not always aligned or accurately updated. No clear critical path or workflow meant there was risk to lead times. Multiple comments on emails allowed for confusion and information being missed or misunderstood.
With Bombiix continuity of data is a real strength, because it prevents information from being duplicated across different areas and helps reduce the risk of inconsistencies. Each department enters the data that’s relevant to them, and the system then pulls it together to build the DPP and PIM. It also supports the critical path by making it clear when tasks need to be completed, so we can spend more time focusing on exceptions and do a better job of mitigating risk.
Having the clarity has meant we can reduce our leads times, improving performance on deliveries and in turn allowing more focused buying at the right time to be reactive and reduce cost by maximizing the volume bought.
Being able to transfer the data to our ERP system ensured there was no error in information between the 2 systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
