What do you like best about Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT?

Raiser's Edge has an exceptional amount of capabilities. The query, export, and batch functions are amazing, and those are just a few. The integration with Crystal Reports also makes it infinitely powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT?

There are a few detailed capabilities that are missing. For example, there are a couple fields that are accessible via query but not export, etc. However, these are typically only discovered when doing something especially peculiar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT:

Raiser's edge is comtinuing on a good path. The latest upgrade was a bit of a mess, though I think they've figured it out for the most part (we haven't upgraded yet), but the end goal with the upgrade was in line with modern society. In older versions of RE, all email addresses and phone numbers were connected to a mailing address. However, in the age of the internet and cell phones, these modes of communication have no connection to a physical location. RE has also launched an online element that is extra accessible on the web on the go, called NXT. I have no experience with this, but I would say that RE is "headed in the right direction" as asked above. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT solving and how is that benefiting you?

RE is fantastic for managing constituent databases. Major gift officers can use actions to track meetings with donors; appeals can be tracked so you know how frequently, and for what amounts people have been solicited, and then which they've responded to. The data crunching capabilities are exceptionally powerful, and RE also links seamlessly with many other Blackbaud products, such as NetCommunity, Education Edge, Financial Edge, and more.
