When first starting with BizTalk360, we were able to quickly ramp up and set up basic monitoring. This enables us to quickly detect issues with underlying infrastructure, as well as individual suspended or retrying instances in our BizTalk environment. Over time, finetuning and extending the monitoring and alarms proved easy and quick to do. Having only two team members, both for operational support and new feature development, we found the monitoring functionality to be lightweight in setup and maintenance, easy to avoid overly sensitive alerts, and most importantly actionable at the right time.
But perhaps even better than the product itself, is the support from the Kovai product team. With their periodic review meetings, and openness to feature requests, they are truly customer-focused, and actively moved the product forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In some use cases, we like to set up parallel monitoring for alerts to the BizTalk support team, as well as to other development and functional teams that rely on BizTalk's server. In these cases, alerting threshold currently need to be duplicated for these separate alarm configurations, resulting in double work. We feel such logic may better be configured once, and utilized in multiple alarms (i.e. notification targets). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
