I like how open source BillingPlatform is, which lets us program it to do just about anything our company decides to sell. The migration was easy enough for our system, and BillingPlatform was very good at helping us work through issues and get billing flowing correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Invoice closing is really slow and makes the system almost unusable while it's happening. It's pretty easy for BillingPlatform to get overloaded and start crawling. I have to rely on someone in Scotland to log on and close the invoices within the working day of the Eastern time zone. Also, I need to use Postman to fix certain issues because there's no way to address them within the BillingPlatform UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Invoice closing performance is a serious criticism, so we won't gloss over it. A system that gets hard to use during a routine billing operation is a real problem, especially when it creates timezone dependencies for your team. Your CSM should be looking at your specific configuration with this in mind because there are optimization steps that can reduce the load impact during close cycles.
