What do you like best about BigTime?

Big Time is a great improvement on our old Excel timesheet, for sure. Our staff are so much happier logging their time in Big Time. Ongoing customer service through their live chat system works very well, and help is quick and useful. What do you dislike about BigTime?

We need more reporting that matches how we plan our time at our design firm. We need everything as a reflection of hours (worked and billed), but Big Time still prioritizes dollars billed and can't yet report the equivalent hours billed. So, for now we still have to use a spreadsheet to supplement our Big Time use when it comes to our project planning and when making billing decisions. We are also waiting for the client portal to expand to their Canadian clients, hopefully this year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have heard from the Big Time team that's working on expanding their client portal to Canadian customers, so it's good to know it's really in the works and to be in the loop on release timing. However, for our need to see fees invoiced in equivalent hours invoiced, I had to submit a development proposal and so far have not heard anything back about that. What do you like best about BigTime?

I use BigTime as a consultant to log billable time to client projects, and it helps me sort time by project, at the level of detail to which we build our timecodes. It's relatively easy to use and can be customized to fit any size project. I like that all the partners in my firm have access to the same timecodes, making it easy to aggregate all time allocated to each project. "Intuitive Interface and Streamlined Timesheets Make Work Effortless"

What do you like best about BigTime?

I like the overall general interface, both for its aesthetics and ease of use. For general use like doing weekly timesheets and expense reports I find that the layout is simple and easy to use. For my company’s setup, the dropdowns for both columns and rows are organized and user-friendly.

When I need to dive deeper into project details, the process in doing so is simple and BigTime makes it easy for me to review project bugets and client details.

I like that I can view weekly totals in my timesheet. It is insightful to know my billable hours vs. overhead.

I like/love the “clear blank rows” feature. It helps me start a clean, new week from scratch and removes a lot of the “noise” from the prior week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

This is just something that I think could be slightly improved. I am someone that has several weekly timesheet entries (rows), and sometimes it can be burdensome to find a specific entry. It would be helpful if there was a “search bar” to view or apply to specific rows (“Project” row). This would help me ensure I am not making duplicate entries quicker. What do you like best about BigTime?

I use BigTime for tracking time, budgets, and billing. I appreciate the great visibility it offers into the history of each project, helping me see the big picture and forecast future work. I like BigTime's ability for each person in the company to see the financial impact of their individual work, which helps us all understand our contribution to the company's bottom line. The simple charting within each project gives a quick overview of where the work stands and how much budget is left to finish a project.
