## BigTime Reviews
 ### 1. Strong operational tool for invoicing, tracking, and analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian G. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime has made a noticeable difference in several areas. Invoicing is much easier to manage, and time tracking has become simpler for the team, which also makes running payroll smoother. Project management has improved with better analytics, giving more visibility into performance. I also find the AI chatbot useful - it often helps me quickly find the right settings or configurations without needing to dig around too much. Overall, the platform brings together a strong set of features that support day-to-day operations effectively

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The rollout could have been smoother, especially in the early stages. It would have been helpful to have employees tracking time sooner to identify potential issues earlier. The interface could also be more user-friendly in some areas, as there is quite a bit of back-and-forth clicking and some actions feel less intuitive than they should be. Additionally, some of the help videos are still based on the old UI, which makes it harder to follow along when trying to make changes in the current version.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 2. Reliable and structured tool for time tracking and reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bidyut Jyoti S. | Managed Services Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime offers a very structured and intuitive approach to time tracking, which makes logging hours
straightforward and efficient. The way Projects, Tasks, and Categories are organized provides clear visibility into
how time is allocated. Using Projects as client names also simplifies tracking and keeps everything well organized.
The Task Dashboard is especially useful, giving a clear view of task status across different stages. I also find the
Analytics section valuable, particularly the Timesheet Details and Expense Sheet reports, which make it easy to
review and analyze data for any period. Overall, the ease of use, strong reporting capabilities, and depth of
features make it a reliable tool.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Nothing specific stands out as a major issue based on my experience. Overall, the platform works well and
supports my needs consistently.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a structured way to track and manage time across projects, improving visibility into how hours are
allocated. The reporting and analytics features also make it easier to monitor progress and review data efficiently.

 ### 3. Simple, Clear Interface That Makes Time Tracking Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Branislav S. | Intern, Strategy and Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like the simple design of the platform, especially when it comes to entering time. Everything is easy to find and
clearly visible, which makes the process quick and straightforward. It doesn’t feel complicated, and that helps a
lot when using it regularly. Overall, the ease of use and clarity of the interface make it easy to stay consistent with
time tracking.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The expense upload process could be simpler, as there are quite a few categories that need to be filled out and
they’re not always clear. I’ve also noticed that if you forget to select a location when entering time and try to save,
the system can delete the entire entry, which means having to retype everything. Small improvements in these
areas would make the experience smoother.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes time tracking simple and easy to manage, with a clear layout that helps avoid confusion. This makes it
easier to stay consistent and keep accurate records of time worked.

 ### 4. Structured, Easy Time Tracking Across Projects with BigTime

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benny C. | staff accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime helps keep time tracking structured and organized across projects. It provides a clear way to log work
and manage entries, which is important for staying consistent. The overall system supports regular use, and the
core functionality around tracking time makes it useful in day-to-day work. The ease of use and available
features make it a solid tool to rely on

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I would like to see a clearer way to view a summary of time spent across projects, as it’s not easy to find right
now. It would also be helpful if the system could automatically correct typos when entering timesheet comments.
The UI could be improved to make things more intuitive, and I personally don’t find the timer feature very useful

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a structured way to log and manage time across projects, helping keep work organized and ensuring
that time entries are captured consistently

 ### 5. Straightforward Time Tracking and Strong Reporting for Independent Consultants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William J. | Independent IT sourcing consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how straightforward it is to use, especially for tracking time against specific deliverables. Being able to organize work by engagements makes it much easier to stay accurate and structured.

Running detailed timesheets each month as backup for invoicing is also very helpful.

Overall, the ease of use, strong reporting capabilities, and solid feature set make it a great fit for an independent consultant.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Nothing specific stands out as a major issue in my 4+ years of using BigTime. Overall, the platform works well for what I need and supports my workflow reliably.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Independent consultant working with multiple consulting firms requiring the ability to manage time accounting, invoicing, and management reporting.

It helps me keep accurate records of my time by deliverable, which makes invoicing much easier and more reliable. The ability to generate detailed timesheets also gives me clear documentation to support billing each month.

 ### 6. Easy time tracking with helpful AI support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilse B. | Land Administration Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime makes it easy to keep track of time, which is important for staying consistent day to day. The platform is
simple to use and doesn’t feel overly complicated. I also find the AI assistant very helpful when trying to navigate
or resolve issues. Overall, the ease of use, helpful features, and support tools make it a reliable system to work
with regularly.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I did run into an issue when trying to connect BigTime with QuickBooks, which made the setup a bit more difficult
than expected. Once resolved, things worked better, but smoother integration would improve the experience.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a simple and consistent way to track time, helping ensure hours are recorded properly. The AI
assistant also makes it easier to find solutions and navigate the platform when needed.

 ### 7. Broken product, terrible support.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Averil C. | Operations & Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I cannot stress how little I like BigTime. It's a better question to ask what I hate most. But then again it would be hard to pick. Probably what I hate most is how I cannot get in touch with anyone from BigTime to address seriously problems. Or maybe it's how there are problems with the software altogether- it shows payments having been made that weren't made- things just straight up don't make sense and no one cares.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Reports are terrible. Serious problems with the software altogether. Instead of it making life easy to bill, and giving us good insights, we cannot tell what is happening with bills, and we have no insights.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly it gives more problems than solves. We'd be better off with spreadsheets. The amount it costs us in time of just trying to figure out how to use it makes it cost prohibitive.

**Official Response from Anna Hankus:**

> Thanks for your review! We’re thrilled that BigTime’s automation and reporting are giving you better business insights and saving you time.

We understand that the level of customization can feel overwhelming at first, but we’re confident that as you get familiar with the platform, it will become even more valuable. Our team is always working to enhance usability, and we appreciate your feedback!

 ### 8. Sold capabilities it doesn’t have, and a roadmap with no timelines

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew Y. | Chief Executive Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

You can use SSO to login, and their invoice template creator.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

We are a 150-person engineering firm running BigTime across 3,500+ active projects, and after more than a year of implementation alongside our client, I can say honestly: we were sold a product that does not deliver what was demoed.

What’s actually broken:
	•	Critical invoice rounding bug. Invoices generated in BigTime do not post cleanly to Sage Intacct through the native integration. The rounding discrepancies force us to manually re-import invoices into our accounting system — which is the exact workflow the integration is supposed to eliminate. We have been raising this for months. It is not fixed.
	•	Bugs sit open for 6+ months. Tickets we logged early in our implementation are still unresolved. When we meet with our CSM or executive leadership, we get acknowledgment that the issues exist but no commitments, no ETAs, and no meaningful status updates between meetings.
	•	Weak access controls. The system does not lock down information well. For a firm managing sensitive client and rate data across thousands of projects, this is a real problem.
	•	Analytics bait-and-switch. We were sold on the dashboard and analytical capabilities. We were later told the dashboards are no longer being developed and that if we want our own data, we can pay extra for data lake access, export it ourselves, and rebuild everything in Power BI. That is not what was on the sales deck.
	•	The information architecture is poorly thought through. The Client > Project > Task hierarchy, how bill rates and escalations are entered and maintained, how workflows route — none of it scales gracefully. We are constantly engineering workarounds to make basic operations function at our volume.

On the customer success side:
We have done everything a customer is supposed to do. We escalated to our CSM. We escalated to executive leadership. We were told there is a plan. We rarely hear where our tickets sit. Every meeting is the same conversation: yes, those problems exist; no, we cannot tell you when they will be fixed.

Bottom line:
If you are a small services firm with simple billing and a handful of projects, BigTime may work fine. If you are running real volume, need a trustworthy accounting integration, care about role-based access, or were planning to lean on the analytics, do extensive due diligence and get specific commitments in writing before you sign. We did not, and we are paying for it in workarounds, manual processes, and lost confidence.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, less than we hoped.

It consolidates time entry and project records in one place, which is a real improvement over spreadsheets. Beyond that, the problems we bought it to solve — clean accounting integration with Sage Intacct, in-app analytics, scalable project and rate administration across 3,500+ projects, and proper access controls — are still open. The Intacct integration has a rounding bug that forces manual re-imports. The dashboard product has been deprecated in favor of a paid data lake we’d export to Power BI ourselves. The hierarchy and bill rate logic don’t scale gracefully at our volume.

So: timesheets, yes. The rest, not really.

 ### 9. Easy, Flexible Time Entry with a Clean, Intuitive Layout

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracy k. | SuccessFactors Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

1.	I like the easy and multiple ways I can enter and submit time. I can use the web version or the iPhone app. I can work in a weekly view or in a daily view.
2.	I love how easy it is to add/remove SOW and Tasks. I prefer to only see what I am working on in a particular week, so adding all the tasks for this week make it super clean to work with.
3.	The screen/page layout is very concise and easy to understand. Icons (like locked or timer) are clear.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

4.	I would like access/permission to some canned reports based on my ability/permission to enter time. This could be a decision by my organization, as I am not an admin, but other than printing my timecard to a pdf, I can’t report on SOWs or tasks.
5.	I think there is benefit to submitting a specific day’s hours. I plan out my time for the week by SOW/task and adjust as the time is worked. I would like to be able to submit time for a day completed, but not the rest of the week, since it is not yet worked. Perhaps this could be accomplished with a daily submit option in the Day view of the timesheet.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to enter my time daily, so ease of use and multiple ways to enter/.submit time is a huge benefit to me.

 ### 10. User friendly dashboards with strong QuickBooks integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew W. | Principal & Senior Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

What stands out most is how easy the system is to use across the different dashboards. Navigation feels consistent and logical, which makes it simple to move between financial and project views. The integration with QuickBooks is also a major benefit and helps keep accounting aligned without extra steps. I also appreciate the project dashboards, which make it easier to monitor progress and manage projects effectively.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are no major issues that impact daily use. At times, it can take some trial and error to fully customize dashboards or reports exactly the way we want them. However, once everything is set up properly, the system
works reliably and supports our needs well.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps centralize project oversight and financial tracking in one place. The QuickBooks integration reduces duplicate work, and the project dashboards improve visibility into ongoing work. This makes it easier to manage projects efficiently and maintain accurate financial records.

 ### 11. Cleaner Timesheets, Easy Time Tracking, and Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The remove blank rows feature is great, especially for projects that carry over week to week. It cuts down on extra
work and keeps the timesheet cleaner. Time tracking and the clock feature are also very helpful and easy to use. I
also like the pending approvals section because it makes reviewing submitted time very straightforward. The
analytics reports are another strong feature and provide useful visibility into project data and hours.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

At times it can be a little difficult to navigate, especially when trying to find the backend areas for assigning
employees to projects or tasks. Once you find it, it works fine, but locating those sections can take longer than
expected.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps simplify time tracking and approvals while giving better visibility through analytics and reporting. Features
like carry-over rows also reduce repetitive work and make weekly time entry easier to manage.

 ### 12. Comprehensive financial tracking with opportunities for improved navigation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian K. | Project Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime provides structured access to financial and project data within a centralized system. The platform offers
a comprehensive set of features that allow tracking time, reviewing financials, and managing projects in one
place. Overall, the system’s functionality and breadth of features support operational visibility and project
oversight.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are several areas where usability could be improved. It is not currently possible to filter by labour code
under financials to see total hours spent, which would enhance reporting flexibility. Some navigation elements
feel unintuitive, such as not being able to click “project list” to return easily. Instructions referencing tabs like
“task” or “budget” do not always match visible page options, and adding or enabling columns is not clearly
guided. Overall, improving clarity, navigation, and alignment between instructions and interface would make the
system more user friendly.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime centralizes financial and project data, allowing time tracking and reporting to be managed within one
platform. Even where navigation improvements are desired, the system still provides a structured way to monitor
work and project performance.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> Thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough and well-articulated review. Feedback like this - balanced, specific, and operationally focused - is incredibly valuable to us.

We’re proud that BigTime is supporting centralized financial and project visibility in a structured way. At the same time, the navigation and reporting observations you shared are thoughtful and practical. Insights around filtering by labor code, clearer tab alignment, and more intuitive navigation reflect real-world use at a deeper level - and that perspective matters.

We appreciate the clarity of your input and the strong rating alongside it. Reviews like yours help us continue refining the experience so that powerful functionality is matched by equally clear and intuitive usability.

 ### 13. Web-Based, Easy-to-Use Time Tracking with Strong Reporting and Mobile Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like that BigTime is web-based rather than desktop-based, which makes it much easier to access from anywhere. Running reports is straightforward as well, and I can quickly pull the information I need without much effort. The mobile app is another plus, especially when I need more flexibility on the go. Overall, its ease of use, accessibility, and reporting capabilities make it a practical tool for managing time and data.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are a few areas where the overall experience could be smoother. At times, there’s a noticeable delay when work codes auto-populate while I’m typing, which interrupts the flow and slows things down. The timesheet display layout can also be hard to manage, since I often have to resize the screen just to fit everything comfortably.

It would also be helpful if rows with zero values could be suppressed in the weekly view to cut down on clutter. In addition, the Report Center in Analytics feels less intuitive when I’m building custom reports, particularly when I’m trying to filter by employee, client, or work codes. More flexible dropdown filtering options would make the reporting experience easier and more straightforward to use.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers a centralized way to track time and generate reports without needing a desktop setup. That makes it easier for me to stay organized and pull up the information I need, especially when I’m switching between different devices.

 ### 14. Reliable and easy to use, with room for UI improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

Overall, BigTime is very user-friendly and reliable. It makes it easy to keep track of hours for both billing and
timesheet purposes without adding unnecessary complexity. The layout and workflow are straightforward, which
helps keep things efficient when entering time regularly. The ease of use and consistency make it a solid tool to
rely on.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One issue I ve noticed is that when entering hours, the header row with the dates doesn t move along with the
grid, which makes it harder to tell which date you re entering time for. Having the header stay aligned with the
columns would make this much clearer. It would also be helpful to have more flexibility in how jobs are sorted,
such as by project number, developer, or recently worked on, instead of only alphabetically.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a reliable way to track hours for billing and timesheet purposes, making it easier to stay organized and
ensure time is recorded accurately.

 ### 15. Intuitive Excel-Like Timecards with Powerful Project Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The timecard UI is intuitive and the grid-style layout feels very familiar, especially if you’ve worked with Excel
before. It makes entering time straightforward and easy to understand without much of a learning curve. I also
appreciate how the system handles detailed time tracking across projects, even when there are multiple tasks
involved. Overall, the ease of use, structured layout, and strong feature set make it a reliable tool for managing
time entries.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The expensing UI can be a bit confusing at times, especially around the save versus save and submit options. It
seems like it’s designed for batching expenses, but it’s not always immediately clear. Also, when working with
projects that have many sub-tasks, the timesheet can become quite busy. It would be helpful to have an Excel-style
grouping feature where tasks could be collapsed or expanded under a parent project to keep things cleaner.

 ### 16. Clean, Easy-to-Use Timesheets with Great Timers and Clear Task Totals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how the timesheet is formatted as a clean chart, which makes it easy to separate hours by client and stay organized. The timers are also a great feature and help streamline timekeeping without needing to track things manually. I also appreciate being able to see cumulative totals per task, which gives a clear picture of how time is being spent. Overall, the ease of use, helpful features, and clear layout make it easy to manage time efficiently.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One thing that would make it even better is having the option to enter time in minutes and have it automatically convert to hours or percentages. For example, entering 90 minutes instead of calculating 1.17 hours manually would make the process quicker and more convenient.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep time tracking structured and organized across different clients and tasks. The layout and cumulative totals make it easier to understand how time is being spent and ensure everything is tracked accurately.

 ### 17. Working with BigTime as a Consultant Client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer D. | Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

Keeping track of expenses and input in relations to invoicing. Being able to see when we are going over an original amount on a jobs original balance. We also like the tracking of what has been invoiced what can be closed out, earnings. Also being able to add to the job, not having to create multiple jobs for the same area or client.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Not being able to attach documents to the jobs created. We are currently looking at different integrations to use, that will help us in transferring over job information which will help in the error of job set up. We have documents as in proposals, drawings, purchase order receipts if those items were able to be saved under the job itself would help in errors for inputing the details of the job and purchase orders for the job itself.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping as I mentioned before in expense management, billing, and project management. Really helps us see how our budget for each project is being distributed and how we can improve on certain areas.

**Official Response from Anna Hankus:**

> Thank you for your review on G2! We're pleased to hear that BigTime is helping you track expenses, manage invoicing, and monitor job balances effectively. It's great to know that you find the ability to track earnings and consolidate job details useful.

We appreciate your feedback on document attachment limitations. We'll consider this as we improve our system and integrations.

If you need further assistance, please reach out. We're here to help!

 ### 18. Intuitive Time Tracking with Minor Tweaks Needed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chisom O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how BigTime is very intuitive and easy to understand and navigate. The time entry feature is something I use regularly because it's required at work, and it also lets me organize my tasks and know my impact on different projects. I appreciate that it gives me visibility into how effectively I'm using my time. BigTime being more intuitive was a key factor in our switch from Nexonia, and I assume it provides better backend analytics.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I get annoyed by the repeated time entry. It's sometimes annoying to have to reenter the same thing. Also, finding the right project is fairly simple, but it would be nicer if it was more straightforward. Additionally, when it comes to tracking the week that I'm submitting, it'd be nice to have a notification like, 'Hey, you're submitting your time on the wrong week,' just so I don't have to reenter the time.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BigTime for tracking my time at work. It helps me organize and understand my impact on projects.

 ### 19. Helpful hour tracking and matter info, but the UI and time-entry navigation need work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like that it automatically calculates my over/under hours each day, and that I can access all the job information directly from the matter list.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I wish there was a button to jump to today’s date when I’m scrolling through the weekly time entries (instead of having to refresh the page). Overall, I’m not a fan of the UI design. We used to use Harvest, and I really liked the clean, modern look of that platform.

What I HATE most is that if I start a new entry, fill out the notes section, and then forget to add the hours, the entry deletes itself if I click elsewhere on the page. Instead of prompting me to enter hours, the entry just disappears and I lose all my notes. It’s extremely frustrating.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping our team track hours and expenses

 ### 20. Time-Saving Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ràshù S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

What I find most helpful about BigTime is the timer feature. It’s incredibly easy to use with just one click, allowing me to track my time efficiently without navigating complicated menus. I can switch between different projects swiftly, and it automatically saves everything, which significantly reduces my mental load. I also appreciate the reporting feature as it provides clean, simple reports that are easy to understand. It visually clarifies where my team's time is being spent, aiding in faster, informed decision-making. Another aspect I like is the customer service; they respond quickly and explain things clearly, which is very helpful during busy weeks.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

To be honest, BigTime is good but not perfect. Here are a few things that don’t work so well for me or that I wish were better: The mobile app is okay, but it feels a bit slow and clunky sometimes. When I’m on the go and want to quickly start or stop the timer, it takes a couple of extra seconds to load, which is annoying when I’m in a hurry. The user interface looks a little old-school. It’s not very modern or clean compared to some newer tools I’ve seen. Sometimes it feels like I’m using software from 10 years ago. It feels a bit crowded and outdated. The buttons and menus are small, and everything looks kind of gray and plain. A cleaner, modern look with bigger fonts, more white space, and brighter colors would make it much easier on the eyes, especially when I’m staring at it for hours.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime solves daily headaches by making time tracking easy, removing guesswork, and organizing team hours to prevent billing confusion. It provides clear reporting and quick customer support, saving mental effort and improving decision-making.

 ### 21. Simple and reliable tool for weekly time entry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime does what I need it to do without making things complicated. I use it every week to submit my hours, and the process is straightforward and easy to follow. The overall ease of use makes it simple to stay consistent, and the layout makes it clear where everything goes. It’s a reliable tool for regular time entry, and the simplicity helps make it part of a routine

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The main thing I’ve noticed is that there isn’t a way to create a template for the required daily comments. Since I’m often doing the same tasks, having to type or paste the same thing repeatedly can feel a bit time consuming. A simple way to reuse or pre-fill that information would make things more efficient.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a consistent and simple way to log and submit hours each week, which helps keep everything organized and ensures time is recorded properly.

 ### 22. Great Reporting and Expenses, But Time-Off and Post-Submission Edits Need Work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney K. | HSE and Field logistics lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like the reporting potion, makes it easy to create reports and filter by project. I also like the expense submission form, very clear and straight forward

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I dislike that I can't add or manage my vacation or banked time in Bigtime. It would make my weekly time submissions a lot easier and one less step. I also dont like that I cant change my hours after I submit them to modify with out requesting permission

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used Ajera before, but I dont see it solving any problems for me. It is pretty user friendly

 ### 23. Easy, Fast, and Reliable—Strong Reporting in One All-in-One System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew P. | Professional Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is easy to use and quick to open, especially compared to other software that can take longer to load. It is simple to find projects using the search bar, which makes entering time fast and efficient. The reporting tools are strong, particularly for tracking budgets and project profitability. I also appreciate that it combines project management, invoicing, and expense tracking into one system instead of needing multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are no major issues that stand out in daily use. At times, more advanced report customization can take a
few extra steps to configure exactly how I want it displayed. However, the system overall functions reliably and
supports core project and billing needs.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resource management, time tracking, billing, invoicing, and project management.

 ### 24. Simple and intuitive timesheet with a clear calendar view

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I really like the calendar view in the timesheet. It’s simple, clear, and makes tracking time feel natural instead of forced. Overall, the system is user-friendly, which matters a lot when using it frequently. The reporting tools are also helpful when I need a quick snapshot of what’s going on. With the ease of use, solid number of features, and straightforward setup, it fits easily into my daily routine.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The timesheet can get a bit crowded over time, especially with older projects still showing up. It would be great if inactive projects could be hidden automatically after a certain period. I also think the budget view could be improved by including unsubmitted hours or showing them separately. That would make it easier to see the full picture without extra steps

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes time tracking much easier to manage thanks to the calendar layout and simple interface. It also helps
keep things organized and gives better visibility through reports, which makes day-to-day work more structured
and predictabLe

 ### 25. Helpful QuickBooks Desktop Sync and Flexible Class-Based Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal W. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

the sync capability with quickbooks desktop and the ability to mark time based on different "classes" when posting.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The consistent "forgetting" of updates and additions made to contact info for clients - i spend unnecessary time fixing this every time i invoice. Support is also much too willing to let requests go as "we don't know what the issue is, it must be on your side" rather than committing to working towards an actual solution.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduced the amount of touchpoints my team had with timesheet submission through to the invoicing process.

 ### 26. Easy time tracking with a great task switching and timer feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The timesheet view is really helpful because I can see all my time for the week in one place and make edits
quickly if needed. I also like how easy it is to switch between tasks while tracking time during the day. It makes it
simple to stay accurate without interrupting my workflow. Keeping track of billable versus non billable work is also
very clear. The new timer is a great addition and makes it easy to see what I am actively working on at any
moment.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are no major issues that stand out in daily use. At times, it would be helpful to have a bit more flexibility in
customizing views or summaries depending on how I want to review my time. Overall though, the system works
well for what I need.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps keep time tracking organized and accurate throughout the week. The ability to switch between
tasks and use the timer ensures that work is captured correctly, which supports better reporting and billing
accuracy.

 ### 27. Solid Time Tracking with Easy Project Hour Reports

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe I. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

it's okay for tracking hours and being able to generate reports for total hours on a project

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I keep the page open on my browser (chrome) to easily track hours as I go. If the page has been open for more than a day I always have to refresh in order to input new hours.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's a relatively simple software that allows me to track hours on different projects and to create projects for my team to use

 ### 28. Easy to navigate with a helpful submission review process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anuj K. | Investor Services Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I really like the user interface. It’s clean and easy to navigate between weeks without getting lost. Entering hours is straightforward, and the overall layout feels intuitive. I also appreciate the submission process—having that extra step to review and edit my hours before final submission is genuinely helpful. It gives me a chance to double-check that everything is accurate before the week is locked in.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One issue I’ve noticed is with the submission notifications. I submitted my hours in December, but I’m still receiving notices saying I have unsubmitted hours. When I go back and check that time period, I don’t see anything missing or incomplete. If this is a glitch, I’d really appreciate it being fixed, since it can be confusing and make me wonder whether something was actually left unfinished.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps keep weekly time tracking organized and structured. The review and submission steps reduce
mistakes and provide clarity before hours are finalized. This makes it easier to stay accurate and accountable

 ### 29. The Good and the Not So Good of BigTime

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is efficient and easy to use. One feature I really appreciate is the ability to copy previous month's recurring expenses. That alone saves time and reduces repetitive work every month. The overall structure of the system makes expense and time tracking straightforward, which helps keep reporting organized.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

At times, if I stay logged in for a while, the system appears to stop working properly. It does not always log me out, but when I try to submit time, it can fail and require a full reload, which means reentering everything. I have gotten into the habit of refreshing the page just to avoid losing entries. The attachment process for expense reporting could also be simplified, and a more flexible upload option would be helpful.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime centralizes time tracking and expense reporting in one place. The recurring expense copy feature improves efficiency and reduces administrative work each month. Even with occasional session issues, it helps maintain consistent tracking and reporting.

 ### 30. Clean, Intuitive Interface That’s Easy to Learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew F. | Senior Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

The user interface is clean and easy to understand. It does not take long to learn, and daily use feels straightforward. Navigation makes sense, and tasks like entering time or reviewing information are simple. Overall, the ease of use is one of the strongest parts of the platform.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The mobile app experience could be better. At times it does not feel as smooth or as intuitive as the desktop version. While it is usable, improvements in performance and layout would make it more consistent across devices.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps centralize time tracking and reporting in a system that is easy to understand. It reduces confusion and keeps project information organized in one place.

 ### 31. Streamlined Time and Billing with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like that BigTime makes timekeeping very straightforward, which helps ensure hours are entered accurately. The integrated invoicing is also a strong benefit as it connects time entries directly to billing and simplifies the process. The ease of use for core financial workflows, along with solid feature depth and billing and tracking, makes it dependable for day-to-day operations.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Reporting in BigTime can feel complex, and the lack of an option to schedule reports for automatic distribution adds extra manual work. There's also no fully integrated project management platform, which means using a separate system. User rights and access settings can be confusing as well, especially without an easy way to preview permission views from another user's perspective.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps centralize time entry and invoicing, reducing billing errors and improving visibility into project financials. It supports more accurate invoicing and better control over revenue tracking. Timekeeping and integrated invoicing simplify billing processes, making it dependable for day-to-day operations.

 ### 32. Simple, Easy Time Tracking with Plenty of Flexible Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew A. | Account manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

Simple interface. Ease of use. Options galore, in terms of how time is recorded, detail-level and the ability to duplicate recurring entries easily are all great features.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I would love to be able to search for an old entry using 1 or 2 words. Sometimes I need to find out an exact date a task was completed and have no other way to do so; other times I need to find outdated entries for different reasons. Having a "searchbox" type of option would be ideal.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to better track the tasks I complete and also to track my time working on tasks, when I use the "Timers" feature (which is very helpful also).

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review — and for the 5-star rating. It’s great to know that the flexibility in how you record time, from detailed entries to duplicating recurring work, is making your day-to-day tracking easier and more efficient.

We put a lot of focus on keeping the interface simple while still giving users options, so it’s encouraging to hear that balance is working well for you — especially with features like timers that support accurate task tracking.

Your suggestion about adding a keyword search for older entries is also a valuable one. Being able to quickly surface past work by searching a few words would certainly make historical lookups more seamless, and feedback like this helps us think about where additional usability improvements could have a meaningful impact.

We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and are glad BigTime is helping you stay organized and on top of your work.

 ### 33. Effortless Time Tracking with Minor Flaws

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** muse t. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how easy the BigTime interface is. It makes it easy to record my hours, so when it's time to submit my experience record book for licensing, everything is already organized. I appreciate that it keeps recording my time even after I close it, which makes it super user-friendly—I can keep my tabs clean and still trust that it's logging my time, even if I close it by accident. The initial setup was super easy and didn’t take any time.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The fact that when you minimize the screen, the timer gets hidden in the background. Secondly, the main page that you see when I open it does not display the latest work week. Instead, it takes me back to the first week when I started logging my hours.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BigTime to easily record my work hours and keep everything organized for licensing submissions. It helps me manage tasks by letting me set timers and log tasks as I complete them.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> Thank you for sharing such a detailed review. A 4-star rating means a lot, especially when it comes with this level of context.

It is great to know BigTime is helping you stay organized for something as important as licensing submissions. Having your hours consistently recorded and accessible when you need them removes a lot of stress from that process. The fact that you can trust the timer to keep running even if you close a tab is exactly the kind of reliability we want users to feel.

We also appreciate you calling out the visibility of the timer when minimized and the default week view. Small navigation details like that can shape the overall experience more than people realize, so that perspective is helpful.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave a thoughtful review and for trusting BigTime with something that directly supports your professional goals.

 ### 34. Effortless Weekly Time Tracking with Auto-Carried IDs and Instant Hour Totals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how Project, Phase, and Activity IDs automatically carry into future weeks unless deleted, which saves time and prevents me from having to re-add the same rows repeatedly. I also appreciate how quickly total hours update as I type them in, providing immediate feedback and helping ensure accuracy. Overall, the ease of use, continuity of entries, and responsive calculations make weekly time tracking much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The column widths are not automatically aligned when entering time, so each day of the week does not line up neatly without manually adjusting the columns. This requires stretching them every day, which can interrupt workflow. Additionally, there does not appear to be an option to copy tasks or memos, which would make recurring entries faster and more convenient.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a consulting company that requires billable hours to be tracked for the purpose of assessing employee performance and knowing what to bill clients. BigTime provides the ability for our employees to easily track their time for this purpose.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed and thoughtful review. Feedback at this level — especially with a strong rating behind it — truly matters to us. It shows not only that the platform is delivering value, but that you’re paying attention to how it can be even better.

We’re glad BigTime is supporting your team’s need for structured, accurate billable tracking. At the same time, the practical suggestions you shared around column alignment and easier duplication of recurring entries are exactly the kind of real-world insights that help refine day-to-day usability.

We appreciate you sharing both the strengths and the opportunities. Reviews like yours help us continue evolving the product in ways that directly support consulting teams and performance-driven organizations.

 ### 35. BigTime Makes Time Tracking Simple with a Clean, Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is simple and easy to use with an intuitive UI/UX that makes the process streamlined for a typical staff member. The layout feels clean and straightforward, which reduces confusion and makes entering time quick and efficient. Overall, the ease of use, clarity of structure, and smooth daily workflow make it practical for consistent time tracking.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Once hours are submitted, editing them can only be done by HR or accounts payable, which can create unnecessary back-and-forth communication. It would be helpful to have a feature that allows users to flag submitted entries that need changes, automatically notifying the appropriate manager to unlock them.

Additionally, when a project is closed, it is not automatically removed or clearly flagged on the timesheet. A visual indicator or pop-up warning would help prevent time being entered into closed projects.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime provides a straightforward and reliable platform for time tracking, reducing complexity for staff and streamlining submissions. Its intuitive design minimizes training time and helps ensure accurate entries, even though additional flexibility in post-submission editing would further improve efficiency.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> Time tracking tools succeed or fail based on how quickly people can adopt them — and it’s encouraging to hear BigTime reduces friction for staff while keeping entries clear and consistent. When a system minimizes confusion and shortens training time, that has a real ripple effect across a team.

You’ve also highlighted two thoughtful improvement areas around post-submission flexibility and visibility into closed projects. Workflow clarity doesn’t stop at submission, and ideas like flagging entries for review or clearly marking inactive projects speak directly to preventing unnecessary back-and-forth and entry errors. That kind of operational detail matters.

We truly appreciate the depth of your feedback. Reviews like this — balanced, specific, and practical — help us continue strengthening BigTime not just as a time tracker, but as a reliable operational system for growing teams.

 ### 36. Intuitive, Well-Organized Time Tracking That Keeps Logging Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liridon S. | Software Developer, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

What I like most about BigTime is how intuitive and well organized it feels. The time-tracking process is straightforward and doesn’t require a lot of clicks, which makes it easy for me to stay consistent about logging my hours.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

BigTime can feel slow at times, and I’ve run into a few minor glitches that make time entry and reporting less smooth than I’d expect.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime solves the challenge of keeping my time tracking organized and aligned with project budgets, without forcing me to manage spreadsheets. As a developer, it helps me log hours quickly, see what I’m assigned to, and make sure my time is captured correctly for billing—all without extra administrative work.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> Consistency is everything when it comes to time tracking, especially in a development workflow. It’s great to hear BigTime keeps logging simple and organized without adding extra clicks or unnecessary overhead. When tracking time doesn’t interrupt the actual work, that’s a win.

We also appreciate you pointing out the moments where performance or minor glitches affect the experience. When a tool is used daily, even small slowdowns stand out, so that kind of feedback is important.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a clear perspective. It means a lot to earn a 5-star rating while also getting thoughtful input on where we can keep improving the experience.

 ### 37. Easy Time Tracking and Weekly Approvals in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

It is very easy to keep track of all my time and productivity. I also like the ease of approval at the end of each week. It is easy to submit mileage reimbursement for approval right within the program.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I wish there were templates that can remember my everyday items that I track each day that are the same.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Big Time helps me stay organized across the different tasks I handle each day and need to account for with my time. It’s easy to log in after a task or meeting and enter the details as I go, which helps me stay balanced by the end of the day. It’s also simple to add mileage after each occurrence, so I don’t end up forgetting it by the end of the month. The reminders work well, too, so I don’t forget to approve my time at the end of the week. I haven’t needed customer support yet, but it’s available via chat if I do.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> It’s great to see how BigTime fits naturally into your daily rhythm — logging time right after a task or meeting, adding mileage as it happens, and wrapping up the week with a smooth approval process. When those pieces line up, staying organized feels much more manageable.

The idea of having templates for recurring daily items makes a lot of sense, especially when your schedule has predictable elements. Small efficiencies like that can add up quickly over time.

We appreciate you sharing such a detailed look at how you’re using the platform. It’s helpful to understand how the reminders, approvals, and reimbursement features come together in real day-to-day use.

**Reviewed by:** Taylor M. | Mechanical Design Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like that I can write down everything I worked on in the description box for the project I’m working on.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

I don’t like that I can’t drag projects into the order I want.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m honestly not sure what problems BigTime is meant to solve for us. At the moment, we’re only using it to log hours, and that’s really all it’s doing on our end right now.

 ### 39. Effortless Setup, But Watch for Timeouts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyza B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how easy it is to upload my expenses and time sheets with BigTime. The features are relatively easy to use, and I find uploading timesheets to be especially straightforward. I also appreciate that the company time stays the same each week, so I don't have to continually add a different row. Additionally, the initial setup was super easy—just adding all the different rows for my company and clients, and they stay there each week.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

Sometimes the website times out, and if I make an entry and try to save it, it doesn't save. Then it refreshes, and I lose my work.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BigTime to bill my clients with timesheets and update expenses. I like how easy it is to upload my expenses and timesheets. The company time stays consistent each week, so I don’t have to add rows repeatedly.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> A smooth setup and consistent weekly rows can make a real difference when billing clients regularly. It’s good to know BigTime is helping you upload time and expenses without unnecessary repetition.

At the same time, losing entries due to timeouts is understandably frustrating. When you’ve already taken the time to log your work, having it disappear interrupts momentum. We appreciate you calling that out.

Thank you for the balanced review and the 4-star rating. Feedback like this helps us focus on making the experience not just easy, but reliably seamless.

 ### 40. Clear Analytics and Project Visibility in a User-Friendly Platform

The platform is also very user-friendly, so it’s easy to navigate and find what you need without spending extra time figuring things out. Overall, the ease of use and visibility make it simple to work with on a regular basis.

Nothing specific stands out as a major issue. Overall, the platform feels easy to use and works well for what I need.

platform performs smoothly without unnecessary delays, and the intuitive interface allows me to quickly navigate
and complete tasks. Overall, the ease of use, system stability, and responsive performance make it a dependable
solution for managing work.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are a few features that could improve the experience. It would be helpful to have AI-driven capabilities or
automation to streamline workflows. The ability to easily copy and paste previous work entries would also save
time. Additionally, the system sometimes opens an extra tab during login, which feels unnecessary and slightly
disrupts the process

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We appreciate you being part of the BigTime community and for sharing such a considered review.

 ### 42. Flexible Reporting with Excel Export and Custom Date Ranges

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

One feature I find especially useful is the ability to export reports directly to Excel. That makes it easy to review or manipulate the data outside the system when needed. I also like the ability to run reports using custom date
ranges. That flexibility makes reporting much more practical when analyzing different time periods.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One minor issue I have noticed is that when I refresh the page, the lines in my timesheet do not always remain
organized the way I originally arranged them. It does not affect the data itself, but it can make reviewing entries
slightly less convenient.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps centralize time tracking and reporting in one system. The ability to export data and run reports across custom time ranges makes it easier to analyze activity and maintain accurate records.

easier. I also appreciate the ability to add multiple time slots across multiple projects, which supports flexible
scheduling and accurate reporting. Overall, the ease of use, strong time tracking capabilities, and helpful expense
features make it very practical for daily use.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are no major issues that stand out in my experience. As with any platform, there may be opportunities to
further streamline certain workflows, but overall the system performs reliably and supports my needs effectively.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps ensure accurate time and expense tracking across multiple projects. The ability to document work
thoroughly and review expense history improves transparency and supports better project management and
financial tracking.

**Official Response from Filip Zioła:**

> Being able to spread time across projects in a way that’s easy to read — and still leave clear comments — makes day-to-day tracking much more manageable, so it’s great to hear that setup is working well for you.

The point about templated entries is a fair one. When your work follows a consistent weekly pattern, re-entering the same details can feel repetitive, and calling that out helps highlight where efficiency could go even further.

Glad BigTime is saving you time on both hours and expenses — that kind of payoff is exactly what good tracking tools should deliver.

 ### 44. Easy-to-Use Timesheets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I really like how easy the timesheet system is to use. Entering time does not feel complicated, and the layout
makes it clear where everything goes. The website itself is also organized well, which makes it simple to find what
I need without wasting time searching through menus. Overall, the system feels straightforward and practical for
daily use.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One thing that can be frustrating is receiving reminder notifications to submit a timesheet even after it has
already been submitted. It can cause some confusion and makes you double check whether it actually went
through. Aside from that, the platform works well for my needs.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps keep time tracking organized and consistent. It simplifies the process of submitting timesheets
and ensures hours are recorded properly, which supports accurate reporting and overall accountability.

 ### 45. Simple, Clear Platform for time management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

What I like most is how simple and easy the platform is to use. The interface is clear, and I can quickly complete
what I need without confusion. It covers all our requirements and gives us the resources needed to manage time
and projects properly. I also feel confident in the security and authentication process, which is very efficient.
Being able to use it on both desktop and smartphone makes it even more convenient for daily work.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

One limitation is that I cannot save a note if the informed time is 0.0. It would be helpful to record the reason for a
0.0 entry, such as approved time off or other exceptions. Having that flexibility would improve documentation
and provide better context in certain situations.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking and time off management

 ### 46. Simple Timecards and Login, But Navigation Confusion and Occasional Crashes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like how simple the timecard layout is. It’s easy to understand and does not take much time to get used to. The
login process is also straightforward, which makes getting into the system quick and hassle free. Overall, the basic
functions are clear and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are occasional crashes, which can be frustrating when trying to complete tasks. The project management
pages can also be confusing. Many of them look very similar and contain overlapping information, so it is not
always clear where to go for specific details. Improving navigation would make a big difference.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps simplify time tracking and keeps work entries organized in one place. The straightforward layout
makes it easy to log hours and maintain basic project visibility.

 ### 47. Simplifies Project Management with Efficient Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnold W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like the ease of adding and tracking time for each project in BigTime. The Google login is also a good-to-have feature. The reports help me understand how I am allocated, helping me manage my time and resources. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The UI could be more nice and refined, although I have no issues, but I would like it to be a little nicer or at least be customizable to our company brand. Also, it needs an alerting system to notify employees if they have not filled timesheets by Friday.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BigTime for project management and resource allocation, helping me manage my time and resources. It offers ease of adding and tracking time for projects and generates reports for revenue and target tracking.

 ### 48. Love the Variety of Customizable Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex N. | Client Services Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

I like the various customized reports, they allow us to represent our hours to our clients in a clean and easy to understand format.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

The software can be a bit finnicky, especially when it logs you out due to inactivity (it doesnt automatically go to a standby screen and will let you input a ton of data before it informs you that you're no longer logged in which results in us having to re-input the data)

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking, billing reports, and analytics for YoY and MoM comparisons.

 ### 49. Easy to Use, Comprehensive Time Tracking and Insightful Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BigTime?**

BigTime is easy to use and does not require much effort to get started. The timekeeping functionality is comprehensive and allows accurate tracking across projects and tasks. | also appreciate the reporting tools, which provide meaningful insights and make it easier to understand performance and time allocation. Overall, it feels practical and dependable for everyday use.

**What do you dislike about BigTime?**

There are no major issues that stand out. At times, refining reports to match a very specific format can take a little adjustment, but the tools are capable and provide the necessary information once configured properly. The core functionality works well.

**What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigTime helps centralize timekeeping and reporting in one system. It improves visibility into how time is spent and provides useful reporting insights that support better planning and decision making.
