**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

BigCommerce makes it easy to build and maintain a website. Their templates and web design tools remove the need to have coding skills. Their pricing is also competitive in the market.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

It doesn't integrate as easily as Shopify with some tools making it impossible to implement some strategies. Customer support can be an issue if you have a team because to contact customer support they need to have the owners account pin.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to sell our products to consumers online without the help of a developer or web designer, although a web designer is often beneficial.

Lack of functionality, lack of reputable third party apps and plugins, a requirement for many theme customizations to meet business and marketing needs, lack of resolution when dealing with support.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

Bigcommerce has started a partner educational program which allows the users of the app to understand the flow of the BM which is a great thing to do. They also provide certificates for the course. You can implement Bigcommerce smoothly and replace the existing old BM. If site is having products and orders are being placed then this app is best for daily use. The Customer support is also good. They provide a solution instantly if you face any problem. The BM is easy to use on a daily basis. The Layout of the BM is easily understandable. If you are not IT professional then you can also use the BM easily.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

New issue that we faced in the project that when we integrated the third-party app "PIMBERLY - which is a product information management tool", there were some restrictions that caused an issue with updating the metafields of the products of the site This is why we needed to update the code and add a new metafield to get our work done.

If you find any issue with their BM, then they will release the required changes once in six months with all other changes. which is quite annoying.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Minimalist and Easy to understand UI - Helps in knowledge transfer in less time from one to another member of the team. which is a bit frustrating in SFCC where the whole time is given to explain the BM.
2. Fast BM - Helps in the changes made in less time. Changes Due to smooth functionality changes done in BM reflect fast on the storefront.
3. Marketplace - Easy to integrate third parties that are in collab with big commerce. Reducing time in the integration process.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

The app was easy to integrate and replace the existing BM. The UI of the app is user friendly. The BM is used daily for orders, updation of product details. It has an extra feature of App Marketplace in which we can easily integrate third party services through bigcommerce. It offers a lot of customisation options. Either we can use the storefront of bigcommerce or we can easily integrate other storefront too as we used in our project. Customer Support is very good solves all the issue raised related to app. Like we were facing issues related to checkout that if the user comes from checkout to storefront the user is logged out on the storefront as we are using storefront of next.js/vercel . Customer support helped us a lot in resolving this issue.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

1. Any issue raised related to app is released after a long time.
2. Products - UI lacks/Hangs when any product is opened.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-It is better than SFCC. More efficient, More fast.
-Checkout offers more security as payment processor's like Adyen/Paypal/Apple Pay/Klarna are securely integrated.

Super user friendly with intutive interface that doesn't require coding. Customer Support is solid and timely. Uptime is consistent and above standard. They bought bundel B2B which really upgraded their B2B functionality.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Still very much a B2C platform. Upgrades on integrating B2B will be key to their growth in that space.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use is the primary reason why we use this platform. Zero IT involvement is a very convenient way to go to market. Faster and cheaper is the way to go.

Big Commerce has helped many businesses by being scalable enough to small businesses as well as big ones.The customization based on business problems is the coolest feature i have ever seen in a commerce platform ever before.The multi language facility has helped a lot businesses globally increasing their reach.The usage is also easy to adapt and not very difficult.the implementation happens to be the fastest thing associated with the platform.They provide a amazing customer support and thats is the most accesible feature making their platform a global leader.Most of the users come back to the product increasing its frequency of use .Its can be easily integrated with any kind of platforms required.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

There is pretty much nothing to dislike about such a good platform as it provides all thenecessary and out of box features .

I have been researching a lot of products for my blog and one day i came across this product and just instantly gave it a try for my business.It is helping me streamline my e-commerce operations by providing a  platform that simplifies store setup, management, and omnichannel selling. With built-in integrations for payment gateways, marketplaces, and CRM tools like Salesforce, I can efficiently manage my business without heavy development costs.The ability to scale effortlessly, automate processes, and manage multiple sales channels from one platform allows me to focus on growth rather than technical complexities, ultimately improving efficiency, revenue, and customer experience.

Ease of use, ever expanding app marketplace. If there's something you want to do that Bigcommerce doesn't do out of the box, there is probably an app that does it. Customer support is absolutely top notch. Always friendly and very knowledgeable. Implementation was handled by our developer but it has been a breese to use ever since.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Not as customizable as we'd like on certain features. It's good that you can get an app to do what you want, but then you have to pay for that app to do what should be done natively. Also the gift card system leaves a lot to be desired.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bigcommerce allows us to provide a straightforward shopping solution to our customers. The ease of use on the customer side has resulted in more repeat customers.

Integrates well with 3rd parties such as Google Analytics and various Microsoft extensions. Easy and effective statistics generation. The platform is easy to use and list/buy products.

Doesnt have as much control over pricing. 

Difficulties logging in with duo-authentication / difficult process for changing password after forgetting it. Customer support lacking.

BigCommerce is helping us reach out to a greater amount of customers that don't necessarily overlap with other commercial sa-as companies such as Shopify or Woocommerce. It helps us gain exposure across the market.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

Running a business and an online store is much less stressful using Bigcommerce, I have used Volusion and Shopify, and the most valued service that Bigcommerce offers that is next to none in comparison is the ability to reach out to their qualified tech support team for assistance whenever I am snagged by an issue I found or created. Having live tech support just a phone call away is very comforting on a busy day when you don't always have time to search for the correct documentation to help you solve a problem. Our customers also benefit from this service as it reduces the chance of downtime and errors during their shopping experience with us.

I enjoy the shared variants that allow us to reduce product listing data and ease of updating any changes to the function of how the variants are displayed and the ability to create custom rules for a specific variant such as price difference when selected.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Some of the backend functions like not being able to tag customers with a visual color-coded rating system to easily identify customers by their known customer service history - Good Egg Bad Egg. There are a few other things but they are small in the scheme of what makes Bigcommerce our preferred e-commerce platform.

Helping us reach out to a global customer base and live human tech support is always there to help.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

The cost and customizable website building platform that a small business to get a online presences started. It's SEO functionality for each page has been very helpful in building website traffic. The tech support is very responsive in helping to resolve any questions or issues you may have. I am not very tech savvy so this platform helps me complete a goal for my business without paying ridiculous amounts of money to accomplish what I need.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

The customer groups should be across all tier levels, as well as save cart feature.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using a pre made cookie cutter website before switching to bigcommerce. Now I have better website traffic and more growth room, plus customization to help set us apart from others.

The high costs of Magento and the limitations of the platform led me to explore alternative e-commerce solutions. Shopify was another option we considered, but it lacked the Multistore and B2B features that are essential for our business. BigCommerce stood out as a logical choice due to its robust features, scalability, and flexibility.

Has great customer support. It's fairly easy to implement and create a website.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

Bigcommerce is a really good, reliable platform that we have been using for years (we are a toy retailer). 

As someone who uses the software on most days of the week, I find the interface well laid out, (in my opinion) pretty easy to use, and they always seem to be improving the software.

The support team are really good, and can usually help me when I need them to quickly and politely.

The ability for us to be able to suggest improvements and vote on others suggestions is really good, and there have been quite a lot of things that we have wanted, implemented into the software.

The app store also has tons of apps which are easy to install and use, which we have used to expand our reach to other marketplaces. Integrating with Bigcommerce this way is nice and simple.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

As a company with multiple stores online, I wish that Bigcommerce would add the following (because they don't have them currently):

The ability to have multiple click and collect locations without the need for additional apps.

The site search function is not bad, and seems to be on par with Shopify, however it would be nice for the seach to be natively more intuitive (like Doofinder) but without the need for another installation or subscriptions.

Finally, I think that all features should be allowed on all tiers, rather than saving some for the moire expensive tiers.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bigcommerce has enabled us to create and maintain a good looking, professional online presence and even expand our reach and customer base.

It allows us to do all of this with a very small team and limited technical expertise ( we bought a theme so that we did not need to code anything).

At present, we are happy with Bigcommerce and are going to continue using it.

Genuinely nothing. After moving to Bigcommerce all my Analytics stats went backwards.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

I used Bigcommerce for less than a year before realizing that all my stats from my wordpress website were going downhill... fast. I've since moved my site and things are going back to normal... Then I get hit with an annual subscription fee as apparently I hadn't cancelled it correctly. I messaged support to try and get a refund but they wouldn't give the money back even though I hadn't been using their services for a few months. Looking at the reviews below it's clear that it's because people are leaving them in droves. 

I still get messages from Wordpress saying they're about to charge my card for this or that service that I've signed up to and forgotten about... Which gives me time to go in an cancel the service before I'm charged. I'm genuinely shocked how bad Bigcommerce is as a platform - and how bad their customer service is as well.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. I've since moved to Shopify. If you're in any doubt - never choose Bigcommerce.

I started a jewelry website at the beginning the process was a little frustrating but as I learned I can say that they have a lot more in customization they are better than competitors like Shopify in many areas

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

Big Commerce has a lot of great features out of the box - there are many options for integrating 3rd party software, which is a very helpful thing as more and more solutions are becoming mre important and necessary for online retailers to connect and maintain. Using Big Commerce is fairly straightforward on the back end, and we have not havd many issues finding our way around the admin dashboard. Customer Support has been great - I meet monthly with our BC account rep, and he always has great feedback and advice on how we're doing, so I have found that their support has truly been of great value to us.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

We have experienced some pretty heavy pain points for our Wordpress headless implementation. While headless can be a great approach for some, our customizations have made our integration more difficult and much more costly than anticipated, so make sure to research this approach heavily before committing. For those using Big Commerce out of the box, the experience is going to be much smoother and I would highly recommend using the product this way (as opposed to headless) if your business does not have many unique checkout or web experience customizations.

BigCommerce has made it easier for our team to maintain our product catalog and update all of our banners and web content centered around promotions and weekly sales.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

BigCommerce is very much that - big. The possibilities are nigh on endless, particularly when partnering with a development agency specialising in BC. There's clearly a drive by BC towards empowering their merchants to go global with lots of tools to make international selling easy. The platform itself is easy to use on a day to day basis, and the customer support is excellent with quick response times and largely quick solutions. The number of integrations with third party platforms is really quite impressive offering lots of choice.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Analytics could be more maleable. Sometimes the platform feels too powerful for our smaller side projects. Working with a development agency or having a developer on the team is very much required with BigCommerce - sometimes even what feel like the simplest of projects require a deep knowledge of APIs etc

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offering a singular platform to host our multiple brands. While we don't currently use MultiStore Front, we are looking at this.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

On the rare instances that we have had an issue on Big Commerce, the support we have received has been top-notch.  The stability of the platform is the most important benefit we have gotten from Big Commerce, the store has never been down for any amount of time in the 18 or so months we have been using it.  Our previous experience with a different product was not the same.  We also were live less than 4 months after we made the decision to migrate to Big Commerce and we have around 5,000 SKUs on our site, so it ease of implementation and was huge for us.   We also have many different customer types from different b2b and b2c customers, so integrating our ERP seamlessly has been great.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

There needs to be a way for there to be 2 store owners, as only the store owner can perform certain functions.  This is nitpicking though, we honestly have no complaints.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The stabiloity of our old platform was a major issue for us.  Big Commerce has been very stable and their support has been great.

Some performance issues have been unsolved for several months.

Facilitate our internal odering processing by keeping our sales reps out of the phone lines.

BigCommerce has allowed our business to expand nationally with ease.  The plug and play implementation - without coding knowledge is a huge plus.  BC immediately changed the shopping experience for our customers.  On top of that, excellent customer support is there for us during times of need, and they never leave us hanging!  Overall, we very happy we chose BigCommerce - and have not looked back!

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

There are many features that we wish we could tailor to our specific needs, but understand BC has built a platform that works for such a wide audience.  Some apps help the issues we run into, but not all.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to BigCommerce, we did not have an online shopping presence.  BC has solved that problem and we continue to use the platform to expand / reach new goals.

As a long standing partner of BigCommerce, we've been impressed with the ease of use of the product as well are the ease of integration. We continiously work closely with the BigCommerce team to ensure our connector always up-to-date. The customer support team it top notch and resposnive.

The Partner Manager, Kyle, is an absolute pleasure to work with. He's a doer and knows how to get projects done.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

There are no downsides about the BigCommerce platform. If there are any negatives, it would from a partner persecptive, it can be difficult to get co-marketing initiatives off the ground.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BigCommerce helps our customers sell their catalog online. We also use BigCommerce internally as an extension of Pimberly. Our customers and their vendors/suppliers have the ability to view their products within Pimberly as if they were in a BigCommerce instance.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

I like that it's a fully managed platform with a range of third party plugins that can easily be added, though the plugins don't come close to those available on Shopify.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Their customer service used to be a strength, now it's a real problem. The agents used to be Americans highly trained on the platform. They've since switched to outsourcing their service and it's rare to get a representative with strong English who has a strong education on the platform. On my last ticket, it took me a three weeks to get an answer to a basic question. The first response came a week after my ticket was submitted and asked for my website and support code, both of which were in the initial ticket.
The ticket was about a pricing error. On their website it clearly states their pricing. They charge a flat monthly fee for a certain amount of sales per year. Then they charge additional amounts based on "Online sales per year Calculated on a trailing 12-month basis." My plan allowed for $400,000 a year in sales plus $150/month for each additional $200,000 in sales. When my sales went up, my pricing went up. But then my sales went down, and my pricing didn't go back down. I submitted a ticket and when I finally got their response three weeks later, it said that they only automatically raise prices. It's apparently up to me to track when I'm being over billed and submit a ticket asking them to lower the bill to their pricing requirements. Of course, in the three weeks it took them to respond to my ticket, they had already billed me another time. And they will give me no refunds for being over billed. Nothing on their pricing page mentions this and I think it's completely misleading.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They give me a fully hosted ecommerce platform. I like that it's someone else's job to make sure my website is up and running 24/7. When I first started with them, they offered excellend service as well. Unfortunately, that has not remained constant.

Some essential functions and features are typically available through a third party (there's an app for that) instead of being an important feature created by Big Commerce out of the box to keep your enterprise moving forward.

The look and feel of BC is easier to control. Do you want to change the way an address field looks? You can do that. 
You want a 1-step checkout, which can happen with a few changes without going to a developer.

I work at an e-commerce company in the tactical industry, and BigCommerce will still do business with us, unlike other companies such as Shopify and WooCommerce. Happy with that.

The user interface is horrible. Glitchy and often down. Customer support rarely has a clue on how to fix issues. Beyond that, any plugins they usually recommend either do not work or are much harder to implement than BC would lead you to believe, severely limiting your options for customizing your website.

It gives us a website on which we can sell products, which is excellent. That is just about it. It creates many more problems than it solves. Again, if we did not HAVE to use them, we definitely would not.

Support from day one has been really good. They answer the phone, emails and live chat quickly. I can't say the same for some of their competitors. Feature-rich with good reliability.

I believe that some features that should be included are not there. We wanted to offer more variants than the product page would allow and there was no way for a developer or an app to make the limit higher. We had to change our product strategy to work around this. Some more flexibility would be nice from time to time.

BigCommerce platform reflects the best engineering practices combined with the product that focuses on the best possible shopper experience. Rather than building a monolith, a BC team forged a reliable shopping cart that scales as your business grows. It provides an expandable platform for partners and developers to innovate on. The API documentation is excellent, and developers share a lot of knowledge/know-how in open forums. The BC customer and partner support teams are world-class, simply unprecedented amongst eCommerce platform leaders. Many of our clients choose BC over other platforms due to its lightweight, quicker time to market, and less cost of implementation and integration effort than other platforms. The platform roadmap of features and innovation is rich, filled with fundamental merchant enablers, such as omnichannel, multi-storefront, and international commerce features.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

With its passionate focus on being the best-of-breed shopping cart, BigCommerce also is relatively standardized in its core features. Customization is possible but comes at a cost when one has to build a unique integration or s set of business rules. We usually build cloud custom serverless apps and connect them to the back end of a BC store for our clients when something advanced is required. However, for most use cases, there are plenty of apps and extensions available through the BC marketplace. Lack of customer service. It's poor. Their communication system went down, payment method expired, they admittedly due to internal glitch in communication  failed to notify me, proceeds to take site down in peak season, and then offers no make good, proceeds to tell me we don't refund monthly fees?? Meanwhile, a small business during COVID LOSES TWO DAYS OF ONLINE REVENUE AFTER THEY FAIL TO MEET THEIR COMMUNICATION OR ANY COMMUNICATION OBLIGATIONS. THIS IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS. DOESN'T MATTER HOW WONDERFUL THE TOOL IS IF THE COMPANY ISNT WILLING TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TO A 6 YEAR+ SUBSCRIBER ON THE TWO BIGGEST ONLINE PICKUP HOLIDAY ORDERS OF OUR YEAR.  THEN TO BE TOLD REPEATEDLY TOLD,  ALBEIT THEY ARE ADDMITTEDLY AT FAULT, WE DONT REIMBURSE ANYONE EVER AND ITS MY OBLIGATION TO UPDATE THE CREDIT CARD DATE??  ARE YPU KIDDING HAVE YOU RUN A SMALL BUSINESS, NO ONE HAS TIME FOR THAT AND THATS WHY WE WERE SIGNED UP FOR AUTO PAY; ALL COMPANIES ON AUTOPAY NOTIFY THEIR CUSTOMERS OF EXPIRING PAYMENT METHODS TO AVOID THIS, BUT WHEN THIS ONE HAS A "GLITCH" AS THEY CALL IT, THEY DONT OWN IT.  THEY SAY "OH WELL, LETS JUST GET THE ACCOUNT UP TO DATE AND YOU LOST WHAT YOU LOST.  YOUR PROBLEM, NOT OURS."  If not resolved to my satisfaction, I, moving to Shopify.  I am gravely disappointed that a platform service as well designed as this one is not backed up by a customer service to match.

Be wary.  The tool is great.  The customer support is beyond lacking or small business oriented.  I don't care they brag they can support big brands too like Ben & Jerry's but when I ask for support for their screw up they lay it all at the feet of the SB owner.  Not SB oriented at all!

At the Moment, none.  I have on th e past but now I have encountered the brick wall that is their customer service policy, which is more like a them policy vs a custo,er policy.  Having over ten years running a customer service division in a prior company, not that the individual was rude (he was professional and calm), but the untenable, non custo,er focused script and facts he was using demoed to me that they are not trained for custo,er service but customer mitigation admitting no wrong and simply putting the entire onus on the customer.  Again bad business 101, if u provide a a Customer w poor service, and it's ur fault, u make it good.  No one is align for the potential revenue back but the least they could do is refund me a month fee of $30to make up for their own inadequacy and failure to provide correct communication

There's really nothing to dislike that I can think of right now. I mean pricing could always be lower it's a little bit expensive but you get what you pay for I guess.

I checked other platforms I did a lot of research before choosing Bigcommerce. Shopify is very similar however I heard the support wasn't as good. Also they didn't have a wholesale B2B functionality that was robust or even close to robots. I'm using bundle B2B which is the Plug-In or app for Bigcommerce and is extremely robust and the team is amazing. I highly recommend using Bigcommerce.

Making it easier for customers to do business with us which is driving sales.

I like that includes so many elements that you would have to pay separately for on other platforms. It integrates with so many marketplace platforms as well. I like the BC Community online as well as on social media platforms. Everyone is so willing to help others improve their site or solve a problem. It's user friendly so that a beginner can start right away. The tutorials that BigCommerce offers really help with any level one may be on.  The chat feature is extremely helpful when you're needing something quick.

I wish there were more free templates to use but overall, especially with being able to add different elements to your home page, the templates provided suffice. You can make it your own without having to code on your own, which I do not.

The multiple payment providers is particularly my favorite. Bigcommerce provides a variety of payment providers from both Android and Apple platforms and other offline payment providers as well. Matter of fact, whatever payment provider you use or want to use, there's a high percent chance it's compatible with bigcommerce

Haven't found anything other than lesser integrated apps or rather lesser major integrations. While there's a lot of apps that can cover for some of the major apps and marketplaces out there.. these cover or back up apps don't work as efficiently as the major apps/marketplaces themselves. But other than this problem, Bigcommerce is good to go

For those looking to start a business on a large scale or just to manage their small businesses, check out the free trial system first and try to see all the options they have available for you before moving to get a standard or plus or any subscription. Check out the app marketplace and all to make sure you're satisfied with what they offer.

The integrations is the only problems I have with bigcommerce. I look to use API as the customer support advised me to but from the other end, it's another problem which just keeps going off making the situation more complicated. Bigcommerce already has the apps I need to run my business but some marketplaces I am looking to establish my business in, they're absent.

I remember those early times, starting my business was really difficult. I tried to build websites and add my products, tried to keep up with the complexity and lots of theme options some of which you dont even understand how they work.
But then I found bigcommerce where they have perks like no limits on the products you can upload, help extend free trial until you're ready to try a custom domain, setting up websites is smooth and easy, and if you need help, the customer support is right there to help you asap.. no waiting for bots to connect you and all the other annoying things other websites do! Interms of setting up mainly "A Store" Big commerce is THE ONE!.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

There's really nothing to dislike. They love and support you get from bigcommerce is enough to not even take their mistakes into consideration (thats if they even have any mistakes). Bigcommerce always tend to fix whatever problems you are encountering no matter when you contact them from morning to past midnight, there's always someone to help. There's really nothing to dislike. Not even the prices are expensive its all just right.

If you're looking to get your company,  business, ideas, whatever you want to boost, bigcommerce is the site to go. You'll find almost every tool to help you boost your company and sales and its easy to set up

Right now I don't have any problems only that some core apps which I would like to set up my website and establish my products on their markets, are not available yet. But everything is a step and hopefully soon they'll integrate these apps and offer more and more perks for customers. 
As for benefits.. there are alot. Updating website/store themes daily, free shipping settings, fast and reliable customer services,  the list could go on and on.

I have struggled with trying to run a webstore myself for years as I have a small home based company and was trying to cover all the bases myself.

After trying a bunch of different scripts and websites a friend recommended Big Commerce to me to have a look at.   

They will give you a free trial which is nice to see if what they have works for your needs and were really good about answering any questions I had.

Setting up my new website went really smoothly, and between asking questions of Support and watching/reading the very helpful pages and videos they have available I was able to put up a website I am finally proud of and works smoothly for my customers.

It is really easy to modify the looks of your site using their templates and WYSIWYG page builder that they provide for you, it did not take me very  long to figure out the basics. What  is also nice that if you are a beginner or a expert you can modify your website looks, where trying to figure out coding, and css info to modify pages on other platforms would get me very confused and never turn out as good as I had hoped. But with their page builder I have been able to modify all the pages to look just like how I want, and adding additional pages as needed is simple also.

Being able to add whatever shipping methods and Payment methods you require is really handy and easy to do and almost right away I noticed a increase in my sales.

Something that for at least myself that really worked out perfect was being able to have some orders set to a Pre-Order status, as I make many products by hand, so there is a lead time from order date to shipping date. 
I had struggled to make this work before, but was thrilled to be able to incorporate it into my website and its worked better then I could have hoped for.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

At this time, I can not think of anything that I would say I dislike about things. I have been really pleased with everything up to this time, from support, to value for your $$$.

**Recommendations to others considering BigCommerce:**

Take a little time to create a Free account and have a hands on look at the interface.
This is what I did before making any commitment with them and it gave me a good chance to see that not only did the company have everything I needed
but had a ton more options I had not even thought about.
Support have been really good about helping with even dumb questions, so do not be afraid to ask.
They have a really useful help section with videos and Help pages, so be sure to check them out.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I tried to run my own webstores in the past, and struggled. I suffered a bunch of site crashes and rebuilds which makes a customer not trust you with constantly seeing new sites, having to register again.
I have been able to build a website with BigCommerce that I never thought I could do myself, and with the stability of the site, it takes a load of pressure off my shoulders which really is fantastic!!!
Having automatic shipping quoting working has really worked out where, as before I could never figure out how to make that work, but have been able to now have everything set up automatic which has I am sure increased sales.

Their customer support is fantastic. If you have any questions or issues, you can connect immediately via chat. The themes are great and very easy to design using Page Builder. Then there are apps that make the process much smoother such as QuickBooks Online syncing pricing and quantities, ShipStation to seamlessly capture and process orders, inkFrog to connect to eBay and Amazon, plus other beneficial apps.

BC has product bulk editing, however it needs to be expanded to include product cost. Also themes that are free are limited.

Being able to sell online with a reliable host with immediate customer support is a biggie. We have been able to reach a whole new customer audience by seamlessly integrating with eBay. All we have to do is print out the shipping labels when the orders come in.

It takes orders when I need to input them. Other than that it has major problems that limit my business.

It is an empty platform that you have to pay to add on anything useful, most analytics are lacking, everything a normal business would want you have to pay to add on. It is a waste of money. We are presently looking for a CRM to replace it as it does a terrible job. Support sucks. You cannot look up customers with their phone. It drops zip codes out regularly.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None whatsoever, it creates more work attempting to do basic things. When you try to drill down to something and it gives incorrect results or does not understand you have to start all over again. Customer files are difficult to maintain. It is impossible to get adequate support. The link between shipstation and commerce breaks regularly. Shipper HQ the recommended ap is lacking majorly in understanding dimensions etc

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

More than anything else, I love the 24-7 customer support

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

They don't have as many out-of-the-box tools developed as Shopify but what they do have is high quality and helpful.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted the flexibility to add, delete, update products via csv. We wanted to add custom elements to our site that are unique to our business and long-term want to have an open-API so we can expand our site's functionality.

Unlike other sites that have limited functionality.. bigcommerce had a variety of upsides.. great themes... fast and reliable customer support.. unlimited product imports.. and they even help you with trial problems

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

The integrations are limited. While it had facebook insta amazon wish walmart and other major marketplaces.. it needs integrations like apps that help you create mobile versions of your site and apps that help you sell or import your products to other merchant apps

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits is the trial periods and unlimited product imports. Other commerce sites like shopify woocommerce godaddy and all have limited product imports or short trial periods but bigcommerce is willing to work with you on increasing your trial times and they have unlimited product imports

There is occasional downtime and bugs that occur, but their engineers are usually quick to respond.

The bigcommerce software possesses in its power collaborative business web tracking tools by means of digital asset management construction formats, sales contact data circulation, internal product control schedules, simplified electronic access moderations, marketing addressing through encrypted servers, advertising computer package manipulations, market growth network prioritization, internal inventory tracking adaptations, real-time presentation design advisories, adjustable marketing constructions, negotiations through robust connection interactions, intuitive offer management, relationship communication marketing, user data training, commercial revenue referral regulation assistances, are taken care of with this campaign traffic scheme.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

The bigcommerce system has cloud shopping provisioning errors, where its billing qualification is deficient in showing bank data of the payment issuer, wrongly placing personal customer information such as real estate addresses and transaction reference codes, creating a disproportionate data loading security, so a secondary page should be configured with private messaging to establish password encryption orders and scalability of manual purchase control, originating better sales situations for users, a very simple interface, expressed in gray and white letters with an upper left triangle to support their operations.

**Recommendations to others considering BigCommerce:**

I recommend the management of coordinates balanced by e-commerce actions originated with bigcommerce sales connectivity system, who exercises a precision of cloud communication networks for company products, intelligent analytical content crawls, email utilizations for sending real-time product presentations, multimedia content validation supports, professional campaign funding, statistical sales creation relationships, sales query planning, sample feedback advice, analog metadata security, make this shopping report loading system recommendable.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To stimulate public actions of relating real-time campaign presentation formats, finance shopping security operations, processing robust presentation scales of simplified contents, offering business solutions in a professional way, customer contact list groupings, api address creation, schematization of editing template channels, customer purchase linkage assists, inventory supply incorporations for campaign budgets, user purchase tracking valuation indications, unified accounting calculations, are developed through the uses of this marketing tool panel in my company.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

This platform allows you to sell your products online without the need to create a web page, you do not need to have technical or design knowledge to do so as it provides easy-to-use tools and functions to run a successful electronic store. It offers a wide variety of theme templates so that your page looks good, you will achieve a greater customer reach than usual and your profits will increase significantly.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Our performance with the platform has been increasing and the results are very good, better than we expected, but sometimes when we go to the statistics for some reason they stop working or are simply delayed, they should improve this for optimal performance This does not mean that it is a bad platform, but it could be much better than it is now.

**Recommendations to others considering BigCommerce:**

This is an ideal platform for the electronic commerce of our business, we have not had significant problems simply doubts and solved in a very short time. It gives you the opportunity to have a commercial fluidity, you save a lot of time that you can channel in other areas of the company that you need, it is very easy to learn to use and your profits will increase quickly, recommended.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without a doubt it was the best option we took to start our electronic commerce since we do not know how to make a website. They provide us with great functions and tools to optimize our work, we perform customer segmentation in the option that of customers, we also have good management in the variation of prices for the type of customer, we have greater work fluency. Their integrations and support are essential for our business to run in the best way and our productivity is at full throttle, I must also emphasize that the customer service is very good, they are always willing to help the user for an optimal performance of the platform. Our sales have grown in a short time and the objectives we had set were met, in general it is very complete.

The templates are easy to use and have so many apps that can be integrated. In addition customer support makes everything so much better!

I can’t say anything negative about big Commerce.

Using Big Commerce for 10+ years with 2 different businesses, I would highly recommend the platform to anyone. The ease of use, the integration of apps and the customer service are all excellent. I built my first website as a beginner and felt very comfortable because it was so user friendly. 

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are endless. I get alerts when there are new apps and tips on what I can do to improve conversions.

SEO field to add keywords, etc., easy to use

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Unethical business practices, overcharged me and threatened to shut my site down.Customer service is lacking, no sense of urgency, refuse to allow you to speak to any management or billing department. This was not always the case, apparently there are new owners. I would not set up a new business with them, and would move but it's a large project and expense so I'm stuck.

Not sure what this means? I sell merchandise.

**What do you like best about BigCommerce?**

It has a very easy to use interface. Allows you to easily teach team members how to assist customers, add products, and more.  They have a great support website where you can find forums on almost anything you need help with in BigCommerce. Their livechat support is also very quick and helpful. Intergration of most apps is easy. Recommend shogun and justuno apps if running a e-commerce site with BigCommerce.

**What do you dislike about BigCommerce?**

Not the most advanced for promotions or shipping. Needs several external apps to run most efficiently. Some free, some paid for. Would like to see some of the same features from Shopify, like the easy text checkout feature and Instagram integration. If you do personalized items it is a bit tricky to set up those as well and sometimes limits you.

**What problems is BigCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy e-commerce platform. Many team members can assist on their own user roles. This makes it easy to get things done. Customer service representative has their own role, marketing team, product manager, etc... BigCommerce pulls data from your store to social media for easy tagging of products on Facebook and Instagram.
