The analytics showing how long a prospect has spent on a specific section can be very useful, especially for highlighting buyer intent. The web-focused view of the proposal also performs well. It’s reasonably priced and integrates smoothly with both HubSpot and Zoho CRM. **What do you dislike about Better Proposals?** Although the web view of the proposals looks good, the download and print options aren’t great. The main issue is that it tries to render a landscape layout into a portrait PDF, which throws off the formatting and makes the output look misaligned. It also doesn’t let you include multiple pricing tables in a single proposal, which ends up forcing you to send multiple proposals and can skew the pipeline figures. **What problems is Better Proposals solving and how is that benefiting you?** It’s helping us sign up clients, stay informed about buyer activity, and offer compliant document-signing options. ### 2. It's great value for money and has completely changed the game for my business. It's easily integrated with other softwares so has allowed me to automate a lot more than I could before. Highly recommend. It was so easy to create beautiful templates and start using right away! **What do you dislike about Better Proposals?** It would be helpful if we could create an e-mail template specific to each template that we have and a custom post-signature message. It would also be helpful if Zapier was able to pull through "contract signed" as well as "proposal signed" and the API integration allowed distinction between which documents have been signed as this would help the automations much easier. **What problems is Better Proposals solving and how is that benefiting you?** My whole onboarding process is now automated and looks so much more professional creating value for my clients right from the get go. ### 3. I use it for agreements because I don't do proposals anymore. It's easy to use. **What do you dislike about Better Proposals?** Sometimes the setup isn't always intuitive for me. The payment doesn't work and the support tells me that I'm not using the software right. **What problems is Better Proposals solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps streamline my agreements for my service-based agency. I like the fact that I can send an agreement and when someone accepts it they are redirected to a checkout page and it's all streamlined for me. I mostly duplicate past agreements and build off new ones from there. I like their pricing tables but I think they can be improved a little bit. ### 4. Better Proposals makes that process super easy with their seamless video backgrounds and various design options to make sure it all looks clean and on-brand. I had a few questions when starting out and the support was outstanding - they asked decent questions to genuinely try and understand what I was trying to achieve and advised accordingly. No bots, 100% human, just how I like it so that was a huge plus for me. **What do you dislike about Better Proposals?** I can't fault it, coming from Word documents converted to a PDF and then finding Better Proposals was like discovering fire! **What problems is Better Proposals solving and how is that benefiting you?** My biggest frustration was the process of creating a word document and then exporting it as a PDF and sending it to a client, which rarely arrived as it was blocked or flagged for spam. Better Proposals systemises this process and makes it a genuine joy to jump in, generate a document from an existing template and send via the system - no faffing around with attachments or files, just create, tweak, send and that's it. My previous proposals were static and boring PDF's, I now have beautiful, dynamic documents with background videos, animations and a means of showing what we offer in a professional way, no matter what device it's being viewed on. ### 5. The layout seemed simple enough. But ultimately it was awful. **What do you dislike about Better Proposals?** Clunky interface, glitchy. Signature portion did not work, so I spent hours creating a custom proposal for my client and ultimately he wasn't able to sign. It was impossible to put my logo in the upper left hand corner of the presentation, so it just showed "Your Logo Here". Not sure how anyone uses a software for thier proposals that's this problematic and unintuitive. Was very surprised to see all the positive reviews here. Ended up using HoneyBook. **What problems is Better Proposals solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing at all. ### 6. You can't export a proposal/agreement to a doc for anyone to redline, which means you waste hours of time copy/pasting and reformatting all of the content. It's torture, and so unnecessary for this type of software. I'd never buy or recommend BP, I would tell people to use PandaDoc instead. **What problems is Better Proposals solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's not, it's causing me more problems than it solves. They don't even have plans to create an "export doc" option! ### 7.
