**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

What stood out to me with Basecamp was how calm and structured the entire workflow felt, especially during hectic project periods. In engineering coordination work, there are always review comments, pending approvals, BOM updates, and multiple follow-ups happening simultaneously. Earlier, important updates were buried inside long email chains or scattered trackers. With Basecamp, everything stayed attached to the project itself, so the context was never lost.

I used the to-do sections heavily for tracking drawing-review activities and pending engineering actions. The biggest practical advantage was visibility. Instead of asking multiple people for updates, I could immediately see who owned a task, what was delayed, and what was already completed.

The message boards also worked surprisingly well for technical discussions because decisions stayed documented alongside related files and tasks. That reduced confusion during revision cycles.

From a UI/UX perspective, the platform feels intentionally lightweight. It doesn’t overload the screen with unnecessary menus or dashboards, which helped the team adapt quickly without formal onboarding sessions.

Another thing I appreciated was the reliability. Even while handling multiple active projects and shared documents daily, performance stayed smooth and organized without creating extra operational overhead.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

Basecamp works best when teams prefer simplicity, but that same simplicity can become limiting once workflows become highly interconnected.

For example, during projects involving multiple engineering dependencies and sequential approval stages, I sometimes wished for stronger dependency visualization and more advanced workflow automation.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue Basecamp solved for us was operational fragmentation.

Before using it, project updates, review comments, schedules, and shared files were distributed across spreadsheets, emails, shared folders, and separate chat conversations. During engineering coordination activities, that often created delays because people spent more time searching for information than actually progressing work.
After moving workflows into Basecamp, task ownership, deadlines, technical discussions, and project documents became centralized. That alone reduced a significant amount of follow-up communication.

For example, while coordinating drawing reviews and documentation updates, teams could directly check pending actions, latest revisions, and responsible owners without depending on repeated meetings or status-request emails.

The result was smoother coordination, fewer missed follow-ups, and better project visibility across ongoing activities. Over time, it also reduced the amount of manual tracking effort needed to keep engineering workflows organized.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I find that Basecamp lets me collaborate with my colleagues efficiently. I use the card feature the most because it allows me to add products and assign tasks, which helps me track projects clearly.

The UI is also great. I can create projects quickly and keep track of them using Kanban cards.

So far, I haven’t noticed any glitches, no matter how many cards or projects I add.

I also like the single unlimited subscription, since we don’t have to worry about adding as many employees as we want.

Getting started with Basecamp was very straightforward thanks to its intuitive interface.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

It doesn't connect well with Google. We can add Google Docs on Basecamp, but they are all in links, so we have to go to their docs. I wish the Google Docs was a little bit more integrated so that we can review without leaving Basecamp.

Moreover, it currently doesn’t have a chatbot that can give me insights into my projects.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basecamp allows me to collaborate with my colleagues efficiently.

Before Basecamp, we used to track our projects using Google sheets. It was clunky and wasn't seamless. 

Basecamp allowed to add projects, assign tasks, and track the steps very efficiently. Their @mention system eliminated the need for sending a separate message.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I have been using it for more than 5 years now and its just a solid tool. The to-do system is really clean, I can create tasks, assign them to people, set due dates and everything stays in one place. What I also really like is the file storage so I can just drop all my assets, docs and references inside the project and its all there when you need it. The message board is also good for keeping important notes and SOPs saved. Apart from that, a lot of softwares have integrations with Basecamp so its easy to connect it with other tools in your stack. Its simple but in a good way. Everything has its place and the team knows exactly where to look. The Kanban boards like pipeline is really fun to use and that gives some competitive spirit to the team. The onboarding process is really smooth but it takes about 1-2 hours to figure it all out and get going.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

The pricing has changed a lot. When I first started using it it was a flat $99/month for unlimited users which was really good. Then they changed it to $299/month for the Pro Unlimited plan. That makes sense if you have like 20-25 people but for a small team its too much. Now they have a per user plan at $15 per user per month which is what I use for my team of 5, so around $75/month which is okay. Also theres no automations inside Basecamp which is a bit frustrating, you have to rely on third party tools for that.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps everything in one place for the whole team. Tasks, files, conversations, everything is inside the project and everybody knows where to find things. The card table is basically a kanban board and it helps me see whats in progress, whats waiting, whats done. The storage is really good - I never had to worry about running out of space. Its not the most fancy tool but its been reliable for 5+ years and for a small team that just needs things organised it does the job really well. I sometimes also invite my clients to see the progress of their project, which is a really cool feature.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

What I like best about Basecamp is that it made complex, repeatable work feel manageable—without turning the tool itself into a second job (because no one has time for that). It was affordable for our limited department budget. It was a stand-alone for our department, but was easily integrated into our various event and project teams. 

I used it to track multiple higher ed events and projects year over year, and that mattered. Basecamp let me copy what worked, tweak what didn’t, and keep improving instead of reinventing the wheel every single cycle (we love a system that respects our time and our sanity). I didn't really have any performance issues; it was never down, it never lost any data, and served us well for what we needed.

It was also refreshingly easy to learn. No 47-step onboarding. No “let me explain this dashboard” meetings. People could jump in, get it, and actually use it, which meant the team stayed involved instead of everything bottlenecking through one poor soul (usually me).

And that balance? Chef’s kiss. Enough structure to keep everyone aligned, but enough flexibility to make it work the way I actually think and operate. It held the details without suffocating the work.

In short: Basecamp helped me organize complexity, bring people along, and build smarter every round—without making me want to throw my laptop out a window. I did not use any AI features.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

Honestly, once I figured out how to add documents, it had all of the functionality we required. I could easily see where each event or project was and what my next priority was and update as tasks were completed or milestones were reached.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basecamp solved the problem of organized chaos—especially with multiple higher ed events and projects running year over year.

Instead of juggling emails, spreadsheets, and “wait…where did we put that file?” moments, everything lived in one place. Clear. Trackable. Not hiding in someone’s inbox like a gremlin.

The biggest win for me was repeatability without starting over. I could copy past projects, refine what worked, and build smarter each cycle instead of reinventing the wheel every time (because we are not here for unnecessary suffering).

It also solved the classic team problem:
“Who’s doing what… and did it actually get done?”

Basecamp made ownership visible, kept communication in context, and pulled the team into the work instead of leaving project tracking on one person’s shoulders.

And maybe my favorite part?
It reduced friction.

Less chasing.
Less confusion.
Less “quick check-in” meetings that somehow last 47 minutes.

The benefit was simple but powerful:
I could spend more time actually leading and improving the work… and a lot less time trying to track it down.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I like that with Basecamp, I don't have to juggle multiple apps to communicate because it consolidates everything; whether people prefer text messaging or emails, it's all done in Basecamp. It's super easy to use, and there's even a Basecamp app for my phone. It's extremely valuable because I don't have to keep up with a million apps on my phone, and it's easy to access on both my phone and desktop. Everybody checks it at least once a day, keeping us well-connected. Additionally, the initial setup of Basecamp was super simple and took just ten minutes. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to manage communications with more than two people. Overall, it's amazing, and I rate it a ten out of ten, hands down.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

Well, in the beginning, I didn't really understand how to use it. A good tutorial would have been nice. I instead just kinda learned as I went. I'm sure there was a tutorial on there. I just didn't I I'm technologically challenged and was not sure where to find it.

Basecamp solves the problem of reaching everyone easily by providing a central point for communication and task management. I don't have to rely on texts or emails, as I can ping or use the Campfire group chat, making coordination simple and effective.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

Basecamp has become a key tool in our daily routine because it allows us to centralize absolutely everything in one place: tasks, files, conversations, and project tracking. The ability to invite clients within each project is especially valuable, as it facilitates transparent and organized communication, avoiding scattered emails and loss of information.

One of the most useful features is the "needle" in the Mission Control, which gives us a quick overview of the status of each project, allowing us to understand in seconds how everything is going without having to enter each one. Additionally, its applications on iOS and iPadOS allow us to manage tasks and track progress from anywhere, which brings a lot of agility to daily work.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

What I like least about Basecamp is that the entire interface is in English. Although it is possible to adapt some terms by renaming tools, it remains a limitation, especially when working with Spanish-speaking clients. Additionally, the automatic email communication could be more flexible: it would be ideal to be able to configure it in different languages, such as Spanish and English, and better customize those messages to align them with the tone of each project or client.

Basecamp primarily solves the problem of information dispersion for us. It centralizes everything related to each project in one place: tasks, files, conversations, and progress, both for the team and the client. This prevents loss of context, reduces reliance on email, and eliminates the need to jump between multiple tools.

In practice, this translates into more clarity, better organization, and much smoother communication. It allows us to have control over the status of each project, assign responsibilities clearly, and keep everyone aligned without friction, which directly impacts the efficiency and quality of the work we deliver.

Basecamp offers a marvellous user interface that makes work easier for all employees. It helps everyone keep track of the tasks assigned to them while also maintaining a clear planner of all tasks along with their due dates. It also provides the option to set assignees for each task, so task management runs smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

The latest version of basecamp( basecamp 4) has got a lot of great features but I feel that they must update and set up an API endpoint to fetch labels from other platforms so that those labels can be updated in the basecamp interface.

It is giving me a proper planner helping to look after all the tasks and keeping me aware of their deadlines through their email alert feature.

Probably my favorite part about basecamp is it encourages clarity and accountability without micromanagement. I value autonomy and trust in engineering workflows a lot, with basecamp i can exactly see what's happening and what's coming next but it never feels heavy. I also love basecamp's hill charts. they are very simple but powerful way for me to visualize progress without drowning in gnatt charts or duplicated status reports. It helps me communicate technical progress to non technical peeps in a visual way that actually clicks. Every project of mine has a predictable layout basically with message boards schedule and real time chat all in in one place. i never have to hunt through diffrent dashboards to find something.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

It doesnt offer robust API endpoints . Reporting could be more deeper than provided.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A very big plus is how basecamp helps reduce notification fatigue. The "hey!" inbox, customizable notifications and async first culture built into this tool make a real difference. i'm not constantly pinged for every comment or update which lets me focused on my work. When i do check in, everything is neatly organized and easy to digest. Each project has its own chat room and it keeps real time discussions focused on that project only. Instead of having an endless universal stream of chatter, campfire chat feature helps reduce mental load and fives discussions context.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

Basecamp is not one of those platforms that overwhelms you with tabs everywhere; you start working on a project and everything seems to be in place. It still amazes me that I can look at the task lists from years ago and everything is clear, no duplicate files, no clutter. That alone gives you a lot of peace of mind because you know nothing is lost. And thanks to its integrated chat, we finally got rid of those endless email threads where context was always lost. It was the first time I really felt like we could communicate and document things without going crazy. I like that they keep refining their templates and simple automations. Facilitates the start of new projects without having to think too much about structure. It’s not trying to be the most complex tool in the world, but honestly, that practicality is exactly what makes it so effective for daily work.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

Being realistic, its greatest strength is also its achilles’ heel: simplicity. While that lack of visual clutter is appreciated, the platform falls short if you’re looking for “raw power” or advanced-level features. For example, a more modern, visual dependency mapping is definitely missing something that’s pretty standard in other tools today. In the end, that simplicity we like so much can start to feel like a glass ceiling when you’re managing projects with too many moving parts or highly complex workflows.

We decided to use Basecamp when the chaos of projects and files scattered across a thousand platforms became unbearable. We implemented it as an internal renovation project and centralized everything there: calendars, who was responsible for what, and the ability to produce all weekly reports. I was surprised that it didn't feel like just another task for the team; the transition was incredibly smooth, and everyone understood the logic right away. There came a point where the usual questions of “Where is that document?”, “Who is working on this project?” and so on disappeared completely, because we all knew where everything was just by looking at the platform. It may seem basic, but that level of organization eliminated a lot of everyday friction and restored a more fluid workflow.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I started using Basecamp to keep my clinic work and content work from getting mixed up on busy days. I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content, so I have patient follow ups, diet plan work, and small content tasks happening at the same time. I use it to keep a clear list of follow ups, pending diet plans, and weekly content work. The to do list helps me remember small things, and the notes inside tasks are useful when I want to write what I discussed with a patient or what is still pending. I also post a short weekly update for myself so I know what to focus on.
It was easy to start using. I made one project for clinic work and added my tasks the same day. I open it almost daily to check what is done and what is left. The simple features are enough for my routine work and help me stay organized without extra effort.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

Nothing Much but Sometimes I forget to check one of my lists because everything looks similar on the screen. Also, when I add many small tasks in a day, the list can feel a bit long and I need a moment to find what I’m looking for. Also,  Sometimes it takes a few extra clicks to reach the exact task or message I want to update.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, my clinic follow-ups, diet work, and content ideas were spread across different notes and reminders, so small things were easy to miss. With Basecamp, I keep my weekly work in one place and check it when I start my day. This helps me move through tasks in order instead of jumping between apps and notes.
Now I don’t forget small things like calling a patient back or finishing a diet plan. I also use it to plan simple health posts and a weekly newsletter, so my content work stays regular. My daily work feels more organized and less rushed. It’s easier to see what is left to do before the day ends.

The ability to project manage with a large team and not lose track of anything. The UX and UI are extremely beginner friendly and the integrations to Office365 and Trainual are essential for us. The pricing is competitive and the support always solves our problems.

I wish the Card Tables had a bit more functionality, including a history or audit log. It can be easy to lose track of who made what edits to any given card.

Basecamp solves my need to project manager in a manual process. I'm able to automate tasks more and work with multiple teams as once without tasks getting mixed up. I'm saving so much time!

I use Basecamp to manage and exchange files with my clients. It allows me to keep track of the various aspects of the work process, keeping track of who needs to do what and returning to whoever marked the task. The work processes are divided and I keep them organized into tasks, assigning each piece of work to one or more people. I can independently check whether the tasks have been completed or not and also the work of all my employees. Furthermore, the initial installation of Basecamp was very simple thanks to the technical department of my agency.

You need to get the hang of assigning tasks, but once you gain experience, you work with ease.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I like the to dos in Basecamp because they help me keep track of my tasks. I also appreciate the card tables, which allow me to organize my documents based on each project. With many projects on the go, being able to create to dos and have a chat feature, which is the Campfire, for each project is very useful. These features help me stay involved in multiple projects without getting confused, whether I'm working on the marketing team or the sales team. I find it very easy to share messages with specific team members in each project. I also found the initial setup of Basecamp very easy; it was just about creating the account with the email and password, and it's part of our training at the law firm.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

I don't receive notifications when someone writes to me. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, especially on Mac. They work on the phone but not on the desktop.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I enjoy being able to view and share documents very easily. Drag & drop works fantastic.  It is very easy to use and seems quite user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

It doesn’t have a function to close each window or operation once it’s opened. You can click elsewhere to get out of it, but I’d prefer to have a small “x” on the screen (or back button) so I can close each operation separately.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basecamp provides a cloud-based location for our team (both inside our company as well as outside) to easily share documents, write-ups, photos and ideas.  This is fast and easy way to seamlessly share large files and documents.  Kind of like having a FTP site, yet way easier to use.

I like a lot of things about Basecamp, but one of the most useful features is the ability to look up previous projects. After I look up the projects, I can then reopen the tickets, add additional tasks, and then they appear in our project list within Basecamp. Using Basecamp is quite easy, and it's effective for managing our project and ticketing system. We receive alerts when messages are in the ticket, which allows us to efficiently see the projects when they're ready and then move them on to the next phase.

The ping emails could be a bit quicker. The ping itself is instant, but the email notifications often take a few minutes.

Creating and assigning tasks is straightforward, i can add clear descriptions, owners and due dates without getting lost in configuration. The ability to set deadlines and milestones wither manually or based on templates helps me keep work predictable and aligned with my delivery goals. I also like how to-do lists are scoped per user. Everyone in my team can see exactly what they are responsible for without unnecessary noise from unrelated tasks which is especially helpful in larger teams like mine.

The upsides of using basecamp is its ability to distill complex project coordination into an interface that feels clean, intuitive and genuinely supportive of focused work. My work life often involve multiple parallel experiments, tight timelines and cross functional teams and basecamp does an excellent job keeping all of those moving parts organized without overwhelming me. The schedule feature keeps experiment timelines, regulatory submissions and cross team milestones visible in one place. This is particularly helpful when coordinating with collaborators working across sites and time zones.  The message board is equally useful. It creates a central place for important updates and technical discussions that would otherwise get lost in email threads. Setting up the platform required almost no formal training for me. I appreciate the fact that how everything for a project lives in one place from files, docs, discussions to schedules so there is no switching apps just to find context. I also like that basecamp gives me custom views so i can organize projects the way that is apt for my workflow. Basecamp is honestly one of the most refreshing tools I’ve used. What I really like about it is how simple everything feels. Instead of jumping between 4–5 different apps for tasks, chats, files, and schedules, it keeps everything in one place. That all-in-one structure just makes work less stressful and more organized.

It really helps reduce tool overload, which is something many remote teams struggle with. You don’t feel lost or overwhelmed while using it. The interface is clean, easy to understand, and you don’t need hours of training to get started.

I also noticed that it naturally improves accountability in the team, because everyone can clearly see what’s going on and who is responsible for what. It’s not packed with complicated features like some traditional project management tools, and that’s actually a good thing.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

Honestly, the homepage is great. All your activities are in one place. Sometimes it can be confusing to find things within. The system itself in the homepage is very helpful. Basecamp also sends you daily notifications as to what’s going on, even if you’re not directly involved. You can choose to see or not see conversations from other coworkers. No spam emails.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

The interface can be a little bit confusing if you don’t know what you’re looking for. I’m on a Mac so I can just use command J to look for what I’m looking for, but it can be difficult.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration is easy without a thousand group chats. As I mentioned earlier, you can see communication communications between others too. Very helpful for keeping projects on task.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I appreciate how easy it is to understand and create teams and projects with Basecamp. It really helps with automatic team check-ins and using Hill charts for progress tracking. It's also a plus that Basecamp offered better pricing compared to the previous tool we used, Asana. The initial setup was very easy for me because I had used it before.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

Visually I don't love it but it works so I don't complain. I feel like it looks a little childish.

Basecamp allows me to track my work and my team's activities effectively. I appreciate its ease of use in creating teams and projects, along with automatic team check-ins and Hill charts for progress tracking.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

What i like the most about basecamp is its simplicity and sharp focus on clarity. Unlike other project management tools that feel bloated, basecamp keeps things streamlined like tasks, discussions and files are all in one place without unnecessary complexity. The message board and to-do lists make it easy to keep my team aligned without drowning in notifications. I also like that it reduces context switching. I dont have to jump between multiple apps to manage projects. The clean UI and minimal learning curve mean new team members can get up to speed quickly which is a huge win for productivity.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

i often need advanced features like dependency tracking and integration with development tools but basecamp doesn't offer much in terms of automation or analytics which makes it harder to manage large scale projects.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basecamp makes managing deadlines straightforward by providing a centralized schedule and clear visibility into due dates. each project has a schedule section where milestones and tasks are tied to specific dates so everyone knows whats coming up. to do lists allows me to assign tasks with deadlines and automatic reminders help keep things on track without micromanaging. this reduces risk of missed deadlines because the entire team can see priorities at a glance.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I think Basecamp is very intuitive and simple. I like that we get notifications on email, on the app itself, and also when you integrate it with Slack. This helps us know what's happening and what progress we have. I enjoy tagging people, uploading things, using emojis, and comments. The ability to change due dates for a day or a certain amount of days is really handy. I appreciate how you can personalize the different boards for different projects, whether you want to use a chat, a dialogue service, or focus on task-based projects or calendar-based tasks. Basecamp makes the experience of using it very simple, intuitive, quick, automated, and enjoyable, which I really value.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

I think there's room for more customization on the app. On how to manage projects and how to set due dates or, having multiple assignees. The way it's managed, it's something that you can do, but I think it can be done better, like, you don't have the chance to do a campaign board if you want to. So maybe have a few other ways in which you can present boards will be ideal. More customizable. And I think they are off to a more robust or complete, project management tool with those type of adjustments.

Basecamp helps us manage projects, workloads, and tasks remotely, tracking progress without needing frequent calls or meetings. It streamlines remote collaboration on the cloud effectively.

I love how everything—tasks, files, messages, and schedules—is in one place. No more digging through emails or 5 different apps just to find something.

2. Basecamp keeps my team super organized without being complicated. Even new team members pick it up quickly, which saves a ton of time.

3. The To-Do lists are simple but powerful. Assigning tasks, adding due dates, and tracking progress feels effortless.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

Sometimes I wish there were more advanced customization options, but honestly, the simplicity is also what makes it easy to use.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basecamp keeps all our tasks, files, and discussions in one place. We no longer waste time searching through emails—everything is organized and easy to find.

2. It solved our communication chaos. Instead of scattered chats and long email threads, we now have clear message boards and real-time conversations.

3.It helps us stay on top of deadlines. The to-do lists and schedules make sure nothing slips through the cracks, which keeps projects moving smoothly.
 
4. Basecamp gives our team clarity on who’s doing what. There’s no confusion about responsibilities, and that’s improved accountability.

5. Remote collaboration is so much easier now. Everyone can see updates instantly, no matter where they are.

6. We used to juggle multiple tools for files, tasks, and chat. Basecamp replaced all of them, which saves time and simplifies our workflow.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

I really like Basecamp's message board feature where we chat about a particular topic and share thoughts from different team members. Once things get clarified, we use the tools section to plan our tasks. I also appreciate the document feature, which helps us keep all our documents in a centralized place.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

I don't like the user-based pricing over Basecamp. The support team is sometimes not helpful and feels more like an AI chatbot. They don't understand the context of the question and give textbook prewritten answers. Also, even though Basecamp claims to reduce the need for emails and other forms of communication, that's not usually the case for us.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basecamp helps us organize work into projects, further dividing tasks. It also monitors progress effectively with the needle chart feature and centralizes documents, making them easily accessible in one place.

**What do you like best about Basecamp?**

Basecamp simplifies project management while still giving me the depth i need to stay on top of complex workflows. The platform feels intuitive yet powerful enough to handle the technical rigor of my projects.  On of my favorite features is the ability to track the  key performance indicators and baseline assessments throughout the entire project lifecycle. I often work on multiple projects simultaneously and having a centralized view of KPIs helps me quickly identify if i'm on track or need to course correct myself.

**What do you dislike about Basecamp?**

While alerts are helpful, they can sometimes become noisy. I easily get flooded with notifications that aren't always critical.

**What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing dependencies and task flows was a problem, with basecamp's drag and drop flows and dependency management, i can map out processes visually and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. My projects need structure but also flexibility. Basecamp's customizable activities and templates strike that balance letting me standardize processes while adapting to unique project needs.

So far, I haven't found anything I dislike about Basecamp. It has been helpful to me.

The people I was collaborating with were not on campus, and this made it much easier for us to work together. They could let me know what they needed, I was able to send them files, and we could mark tasks as completed as we progressed.
