What do you like best about Basecamp?

I really like that it is very simple to use. No one needs to read guides to figure it out. Making a project and adding daily task checklists is very easy. The best feature for me is the message board because important messages, notes are highlighted. Also keeping all the documents and PDFs stored in one place makes it easy to find files whenever needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Basecamp?

It is a bit too simple sometimes. There are no visual Kanban boards or timeline charts to track progress, which you often find in other project tools. Another small thing is the notification system. In the beginning, it sends too many email alerts for every small updates until you manually go into the profile settings and turn them off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Basecamp solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solved the confusion of managing work across different chat apps and notes. Before this, we kept asking who was doing what task or where the updated file was saved. Now everything is in one place.
