Barnimages has absolutely beautiful photos that somehow seem to have more of a personal or intimate feel to them than standard stock photos. They don't charge anything for their photos, but you can donate if you choose. They allow you to use these really incredible photos for personal or commercial use. The name "Barnimages" is confusing because they have beautiful photos of all sorts of things, not barns. I actually first found the website almost by accident because I needed an image to depict a rural setting, but then discovered that "Barnimages" isn't about barn images. Ha ha.
