What do you like best about BambooHR?

The user interface is extremely friendly. Employees enjoy how intuitive it is for onboarding, time off requests and holiday calendars. There isn't much of a learning curve, which is great for newer employees. We love the new AI features of getting questions answered on the spot, that's been a wonderful addition. The performance management tool is also very easy to set up and use and we love that you can see the historical data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BambooHR?

There isn't much, if I am being honest. But, if you are going to make me say a few things, I would say the report functions could be better. A lot of requests for reports from our Senior Leadership for more robust reporting. I find the reporting is lacking. I also wish I had a dedicated person that would support our team- we don't feel like we know anyone there who knows us. Pricing could be more competitive- it's gone up over the years and it would be nice to have a loyalty discount. We are bombarded by other companies trying to get our payroll and we've stuck it out with Bamboo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Performance management is the key benefit that BambooHR solves for us. Having a simple way to gauge performance year over year has been great. To have the historical data and the information on past employees (should they try to be rehired) is very helpful. It also solves a big paper problem that we have had- no longer do we need to keep employee paper files and that is a huge win! Love the storage capability that BambooHR offers.
