What do you like best about BambooHR?

BambooHR has become an internal tool that has improved my productivity. Since my role hits on just about every business unit in my company, the access and visibility BambooHR delivers is always up to date and correct. Access refers to waiting for answers (prior to BambooHR) from the HR function here and the landscape view (People function) of teams and individuals in those teams is incredibly valuable. The Documents component is great when I think about the use from a personal standpoint. Our team here maintains this section religiously and access to all documents related to my career is a game changer for me. So I see, with these examples that BambooHR has increased my collaboration and personal effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BambooHR?

It's an historical one - if your internal teams don't maintain the personal repository, the platform is less valuable. This is no longer the case with my company however it should be noted. So its not an opinion on the platform, it is related to the admin function and responsibilities related to the platform owners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Visibility into my entire organization including roles and reporting hierarchy is key in my role - BambooHR gives me immediate and up to date access to this information. This resolves the issue of emailing the leader in a group to inquire on 'who' might be included in a meeting, for instance.
