Before AXL we were paying for three tools: a CRM, a cold outreach platform, and a separate analytics stack. Data was reconciled by hand in spreadsheets, and checking where a single lead stood meant opening three tabs. AXL replaced all three — leads, segments, email sequences, and reporting live in one AI-native sales and marketing platform, with the full touch history visible on each contact.
The MCP support is what sets it apart. I connected Hermes, and the AI works against our actual data instead of whatever I paste into a prompt. A request like "pull the accounts that opened but didn't reply in 10 days and draft a follow-up" runs in under a minute — that used to be CSV exports and manual cross-checking.
Setup and migration took a single session, no support tickets and no formal onboarding: exported contacts from our old CRM to CSV, imported, fields mapped correctly on the first pass. The team was running campaigns the same day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main pain point is email deliverability. Sending domains drop out periodically, and you don't find out right away — the campaign keeps running while part of the mail stops landing. I've had to monitor this manually and verify deliverability myself. I'd want clear alerts when a domain breaks, plus better diagnostics: right now when sending fails it isn't obvious whether the issue is authentication, warm-up, or sender reputation.
