What do you like best about AWS Trusted Advisor?

AWS Trusted Advisor provides continuous recommendations for improving AWS environments across cost optimization, security, fault tolerance, performance, service limits, and operational excellence. I particularly like the proactive checks that identify idle resources, underutilized EC2 instances, overly permissive security groups, S3 bucket permissions, IAM best practices, and service quota utilization.

The dashboard is easy to navigate and prioritizes findings based on impact, making it useful for both cloud engineers and FinOps teams. Performance is excellent since recommendations are generated automatically without requiring additional infrastructure. Combined with AWS Organizations and AWS Support, Trusted Advisor delivers strong ROI by helping reduce cloud spend while improving security and reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Trusted Advisor?

Some checks are only available under Business or Enterprise Support plans. While the recommendations are valuable, remediation is generally left to the customer and often requires integrating with Systems Manager or custom automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Trusted Advisor helped identify security risks, unused infrastructure, and cost optimization opportunities across multiple AWS accounts.
