What do you like best about Awin?

For a small editorial site in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Awin has the widest choice of relevant advertisers in one place: security software, travel eSIMs, smart home shops. Each advertiser profile shows the commission terms, cookie length, validation period and a payment level, so I can judge before applying whether a programme is worth it. Deep links work for any page of the advertiser's shop, and the clickref parameter lets me see which article a sale came from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Awin?

Some advertisers take weeks to answer an application, and a rejection usually comes without a reason. The programme terms of many advertisers are only available as a PDF download and differ a lot from one programme to the next, so every new partner means reading the fine print again. Payment levels also vary: with some advertisers the average payment time is several months, which matters for a small publisher. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Awin solving and how is that benefiting you?

We publish independent guides on digital security and need a fair way to fund them without ads. Awin lets us work with many vendors through one contract, one payout and one reporting interface instead of negotiating with each advertiser separately.
