What I like best about Avaza is that it brings project management, time tracking, expense management, and invoicing together in one platform. Before using it, we juggled separate tools for each of these, which meant constant switching and duplicate data entry. Now our team logs timesheets directly against projects and tasks, and those hours flow straight into client invoices. That has saved us a lot of admin time and reduced billing errors.
The interface is clean and easy to learn, so onboarding new team members took very little effort. I especially appreciate the resource scheduling view, which helps us see who is overloaded and who has capacity before we commit to new work. The reporting is also useful for tracking project budgets, billable vs. non-billable hours, and overall profitability.
Integrations with accounting tools like Xero and QuickBooks work smoothly, and the pricing is very reasonable compared to similar all-in-one tools, which makes it a great fit for small and growing teams. Overall, Avaza gives us better visibility into our projects and finances without unnecessary complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The mobile app feels limited compared to the web version, so updating tasks or timesheets on the go isn’t always smooth. Reporting could also be more customizable, as some detailed reports require exporting data to Excel. These are minor issues, though, and don’t outweigh the overall value.
As a frontend developer, I get an email for every bug assigned to me, which floods my inbox and causes important emails to get missed. The only option is to turn notifications off in settings, but that applies to everything, so I also miss alerts for regular tasks I actually need to pick up. There’s no way to control notifications by task type. It also lacks proper bug-fixing statuses (like Reopened, In Review, or Fixed), which makes tracking bugs harder. Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback, Renuka! We’re glad Avaza’s all-in-one platform helps bring project management, time tracking, expenses, invoicing, and resource scheduling together, reducing administrative work and improving visibility into project budgets and profitability. We also appreciate your suggestions around enhancing the mobile experience, offering more customizable reports, and providing greater control over task-specific notifications. Your feedback on bug-tracking statuses, such as Reopened, In Review, and Fixed, is valuable too. We’re continually looking for ways to make Avaza more flexible and effective for teams managing development workflows. 💙
