Iāve used Automate for about 10 years across various versions, and it has come a long way from being a simple tool (for us) to launch scheduled jobs for file transfers and application calls. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, and once you get the basics down, itās straightforward to start taking advantage of the additional features.
Automate integrates into many different areas, including FTP, encryption, file moves, application execution, user/task recording, Excel, and database calls, queries, and updates. Performance is incredibly fast and very reliable. We currently have close to 1,000 unique workflows/tasks running in our production environment. Iāve recommended Automate to a lot of people, and Iāve implemented it at multiple organizations.
Pricing/ROI: The cost is competitive with other products in the marketplace. We migrated from a competing product, and the savings were quite significant.
Support: The support team is amazing, and we genuinely enjoy working with them. From account management to technical support, theyāre responsive and help you get to an answer (or plan for future enhancements to address the issue). The training sessions they offered were also very helpful for my staff in getting up to speed on the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isnāt a ton to dislike. There are a few areas weāve talked about improving, like having a dashboard thatās better integrated into the management console. Right now, thereās a portal dashboard thatās incredibly helpful, but it requires an additional login and separate monitoring.
Other items are fairly nitpicky, such as stronger reporting and faster, more in-depth object searching. Overall, though, there really isnāt much to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
