**What do you like best about Attentive?**

First, the cost - the price per message and monthly messaging costs came in under competitors when we were shopping around (likely due to our continuing a contract with y'all, but still). I appreciate the support the White Glove team provides, and that we have a dedicated client manager for our account. I like that we can see custom analytics and that we can create custom journeys and text-to-join campaigns to meet our unique needs. We use it at least once a week to talk to our various audiences around the state. The system is easy to navigate but allows lots of  complex features!

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Maybe just my limited knowledge of how to use custom journeys and campaigns to our advantage, but our customer success representative and the White Glove team have been helpful!

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the tool to get specific direct messages to really defined audiences. We don't have a retail mission of sales like most companies, but awareness and and conversion are still our bread and butter.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

Attentive has been a really solid addition to our marketing toolkit. As someone who manages both email and SMS, I appreciate how easy it is to use and how quickly we were able to get up and running. The automation flows are super intuitive, and segmentation is straightforward but powerful—makes it easy to send the right messages to the right people without overthinking it. We’ve seen great engagement so far, and support has been consistently responsive when we’ve had questions. I also like that they’re always improving the platform—there’s been a steady rollout of new features since we joined.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

That said, there are a few things I wish were a bit stronger. The design customization is definitely more limited than what I’m used to with email platforms, and reporting can feel a little surface-level—I’d love more in-depth insights, especially around subscriber behavior over time. Also, managing multiple campaigns at once can get a little clunky. Nothing major, but a few UX tweaks would go a long way.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive helps us automate our SMS flows so we can stay connected with customers without constantly managing sends. It’s been great for things like abandoned cart, welcome series, and post-purchase touchpoints—basically keeping our funnel running in the background. We’ve seen strong performance from these flows, and it’s helped us capture more revenue with less manual effort. It’s also nice to have a direct line to customers who might miss an email.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

Attentive has been a fantastic partner over the years. From the Sales team to our dedicated client support team, everyone we've worked with has been top-notch. Before partnering with Attentive, we didn’t have an SMS program in place, and they were instrumental in helping us build one from the ground up. They guided us through journey setup and offering thoughtful strategic support.

Implementation was seamless; we were up and running quickly and launched a three-month proof of concept to validate the solution. The results spoke for themselves.

Attentive’s platform is intuitive and user-friendly. Setting up email and SMS capture experiences on our website is simple, and the journey builder makes it easy to create effective triggered campaigns. They’re deeply committed to continuous improvement, fostering a culture of A/B testing to enhance capture rates, deliverability, and engagement metrics like open rates. Their strategic support has been especially valuable in helping us optimize performance and deliverability; maximizing results while staying within a tight budget.

We’ve partnered on several POCs for new features throughout our relationship. Some have worked, others haven’t, but there’s never pressure to adopt tools that don’t provide clear ROI. Their team is always open to feedback, and they genuinely care about helping our business succeed. They’ve helped us optimize our campaigns and deliverability to make the most of our tight budget. 

Our account coordinator is fantastic, and everyone we've interacted with has been friendly, engaged, and highly supportive. What I appreciate most about Attentive is how easy their tools are to use and how receptive they are to input and collaboration.

I don't really have anything negative to say about the tool or the team.

Attentive is helping us solve several key challenges:

Lack of an SMS program: Before partnering with Attentive, we didn’t have an SMS marketing strategy in place. They helped us launch from scratch with a clear roadmap, strategic guidance, and strong implementation support.

Limited internal resources and budget: Their intuitive platform and hands-on client support have enabled us to build and manage high-performing SMS campaigns efficiently, without needing a large internal team. They've also helped us stretch our budget by focusing on ROI-driven strategies.

Need for better customer engagement and conversion: Through powerful capture tools and easy-to-build journeys, Attentive has helped us drive stronger engagement, improve conversion rates, and increase overall campaign effectiveness.

Attentive has made the experience of designing, uploading, and segmenting for email campaigns and journeys seamless and simple. It has been helpful to generate growth and see real time results. The platform has been well thought out and helps our team to be competitive in the email and SMS inbox. Our account is involved and professional. They seek solutions often when we run into problems.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Attentive could improve their integrations with other tools. Many vendors we have tried working with struggle to integrate into Attentive which limits our ability to leverage some helpful AI tools and other marketing channels. Many of the vendors we use seamlessly intregrate with their competitors such as Klaviyo, but struggle with Attentive.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive is helping us have our Email and SMS platform in one vendor. This allows us to see what customers are receiving what and how many touch points they have gotten. It also provides in-depth analytics and easy to use functionality to train our whole team.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

Attentive was incredibly easy to set up, and their white-glove onboarding service made a huge difference. Our support team helped us build out automation from our previous provider and campaigns quickly, and the support team is always fast and helpful when we have questions. The segmentation tools are intuitive and allow for powerful targeting, and we’ve found the integrations with our other platforms to be seamless and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

It’s a bit pricey, especially for smaller businesses or brands just ramping up SMS. We’ve had to adjust our sending volume and cadence to stay within budget, which limits flexibility at times. There are also a couple things with reporting, we’d love to see customer LTV included, and even with a more conservative attribution window, revenue attribution can feel inflated compared to platforms like Google Analytics.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

First and foremost I love how easy Attentive is to use and learn! The user interface is easy to navigate and has so much to offer. The analytics they give you are amazing and really give you a good look at how your campaigns are performing. If you ever have any questions, their White Glove team is so amazing and responds so quick to help you! If you are using Shopify, everything connects and integrates so seamlessly which is so nice! When we first switched over, it was fairly easy to implement and I was able to start running campaigns on my own right away! You will also have a team assigned to you to make sure everything is working the way you want it to! I use Attentive everyday and I am so happy we made the switch! We have noticed a huge improvement in our campaign performance since switching over to Attentive!

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I would love for there to be a mobile friendly version so I can schedule texts or emails when I am on the go!

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive helped us solve our campaign performance and making sure our emails were actually being opened! On our previous platform, we had a huge issue with all of our emails being delivered to spam or junk folders. After switching to attentive, they helped us clean up our subscriber list to get rid of bots, and our open rates have had a steady increase! We have also had a huge jump in text message subscribers which is something we really wanted to focus on!

What I like best about Attentive is its combination of powerful features and ease of use. One aspect I initially disliked about Attentive was the customer support experience. There were times when response times were slow, and it was challenging to get clear, timely guidance on more complex issues. However, after being assigned a new Customer Success Manager, the experience has improved significantly. Communication has been much more consistent and proactive, and we've been able to get the support and strategic input we need to optimize our campaigns. The change has made a noticeable difference in the overall experience.

Attentive is helping us solve the challenge of reaching our customers in a more immediate and engaging way. By adding SMS as a communication channel, we’re able to connect with our audience through a method that is fast, direct, and highly effective. This has allowed us to deliver timely messages (like promotions, product launches, and abandoned cart reminders), right to our customers' phones, where they’re more likely to see and act on them.

The AI suggestions for text are not the greatest.

We use attentive for all sms and signup units! We were using it for email and someone on my team thought it was a great idea to use klaviyo because they have a better open rate or something like that so they switched and let me tell you, it is not better. There is no support and I hate how i have to run a report every time I want to see how much money I made from an email. Way better having everything in one place.

Easy of platform use for setting up campaigns and jourenys. Whenever there is a question white glove is easy to reach out to for answers.s

Reporting can be better especially when trying to look back and a/b tests.

I like the reporting analytics. I like these pop-ups and segment builders. They help me a lot with the strategy, A/B testing, sharing my findings, reporting to clients, and basically keeping track of what's working and what's not.

The Journey Builder needs improvement.

SMS allows us to get immediate responses from our customer base and gives us another revenue channel to work with. It allows us to set up automated campaigns with features like journey. It's also easy to set up campaigns and their support team is always helpful.

It's not fully integrated with our loyalty platform but it's something our team is looking into. It may just also be a limitation with our loyalty platform.

As a graphic designer I make the templates and its very easy to get the hang of it. the HTML integration and the previews are nice.
The integration in attentive from klaviyo was also nice and easy witht he attentive support team.

I wish the dark mode was more easy to work with . Unfortunately now i have to create my images and import them in attentive to not have the problem with the dark mode. If one day it will be accessible to modify our own dark mode for emails it would be great.
