**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I like the features and the support we get when we have a question or concern. The data analytics are easy to digest.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

While Attentive offers strong automation and audience segmentation tools, the platform can feel unintuitive at times. Some workflows require too many steps to complete (like updating journeys or editing existing flows), and reporting could be more flexible — especially for comparing SMS vs. email performance side by side.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attentive helps us reach customers directly through SMS with highly targeted messages based on behavior and engagement. The platform makes it easy to automate campaigns, recover abandoned carts, and send personalized promotions that drive measurable conversions. It’s allowed us to strengthen our direct-to-consumer communication, boost engagement, and capture incremental revenue that would otherwise be lost through email-only marketing.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

We're in the eccomerce sector and Attentive has been a great SMS marketing platform for us for many years. I enjoy the user-friendly interface and the strong customer support. Generally speaking, I find it easy to use, especially for list building and deploying campaigns. There support is great in getting you started. I would recommend them for sure. I had much better experience with Attentive versus Klaviyo SMS for example.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

It seems like there is a high turn over of reps dedicated to our account and it can be hard to get things done with a new rep every few months, aside from that I really enjoy the platform and support.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SMS is a crucial part of our marketing. We need a robust platform like Attentive to continue to build our list and market to it.

I find Attentive to be easy to use, which is important for me. I really like the SMS feature, especially its legal compliance that helps avoid extra lawsuits. During the initial setup, I found it amazing because there was lots of help from Attentive.

I think the White Glove service could be more helpful.

I use Attentive for email and SMS. It's easy to use and the SMS feature ensures legal compliance, preventing extra lawsuits.

The ease with which our team is able to build and launch campaigns across email and SMS is a revelation. We use Attentive's services constantly, and I'm not sure we'd be able to do all we do with any other platform (trust me, we've tried.)

I'm not the biggest fan of the growing reliance on AI implementation in these services, but I recognize that this is a personal preference.

Platform is super easy to use and navigate with easy integration to ESP. Our account manager is fab and always super helpful. We are in and out the platform daily so this is priority for us that it is easy to use but extensive features as well.

Depth of segmentation - would like to adapt on segments rather than having to re create a brand new one each time.

What I like best about Attentive, is the ease of use, the variety of products offered to help you achieve your business goals, and helpfulness of the CRM's. I also love that we can intertwine email and SMS data, to best serve our company. We had originally used Attentive for SMS, and email with another platform. Last year, we switched email over to Attentive and the implementation process was quick, and easy!

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The least helpful thing about Attentive at times, is the white glove live chat support. Getting the answers you need from them is hit or miss, most of the time.

Attentive is helping us provide better personalization for our customers. With the use of AI, we are able to target the right customers, and send to them at the most optimal time.

Before we were not able to integrate our sms platform with our email CRM so we were sending both email and text for things and had high unsubscribes. The seemless integrations have helped this!

We have now been with Attentive for over a year and the team uses it every week. Good ROI so far, knowledgeable support team, easy onboarding process, easy-to-use backend with intuitive UI, minimum management time required. More robust and streamlined comparing to some competitors. Integration was seemless and took close to no time from our end.

Have been using Attentive for over a year now and, so far cannot mention any negatives. Couple of small backend improvement suggestions were communicated to the team

Additional marketing channel with good CPA. Currently we are also looking into custom API integration for SMS communications with our customers via our ERP

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

I was able to give the product management to a new employee and she seamlessly took the ball and ran with it. I appreciate having weekly calls with our representative that helps us with optimizing all of our journeys, signup units and campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

Carrier fees seem to have been on the rise. Also, attribution window of 7 days is too long. 3 year contract is long too. The only downside is that I have to manually export email addresses and then import them into my CRM/Pardot. I wish there was an automatic way to do this.

Attentive is helping us grow our email list and it is converting more leads into purchasers. Mobile app use is increasing and it's nice to offer SMS for those who prefer text over email.

Nothing comes to mind really. I think it could potentially used more on the integration front but I can work well with what's currently provided.

The platform is extremely user-friendly and our CSMs have always been extremely responsive.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

We were really bummed when the concierge program transitioned into being run by AI and have noticed a decline in conversation quality. In-platform reporting is also extremely inflated, but this is something that can be said about most marketing platforms out there.

I enjoy the email campaign set up process and the ability to move messages around within a campaign.

The test function for campaigns could be better, instead of having to click every single message, a mass "test campaign" button would be efficient that would send all the messages in the campaign as a test.

I like how Attentive makes it easy to create landing pages and ensures that we are compliant with legal standards.

Designing landing pages is not intuitive and takes me ages. The whole thing needs to be updated, it feels like trying to code on Wordpress in 2010.

**What do you like best about Attentive?**

The SMS platform stage has changed a lot in the last few years. I believe Attentive was a competitor 3-4 years back, but Postscript and Klaviyo both offer better platforms, tighter integration with Shopify, and increased revenue generation functionality. The ability to search for messages in Attentive is abysmal. You can only search by the customers phone number ... and who remembers every customer phone number? We use Attentive send 6-10 messages per month.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

The ability to search for messages by keyword, name, or address in Attentive is non existent. You can only search by the customers phone number ... and who remembers every customer phone number? I don't like the non-transparent billing/plan administration. It's hard to see in the admin when your plan ends, and they lock you into longer term contracts to achieve certain pricing discounts.

**What problems is Attentive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to send messages and have conversations with our SMS subscribed customers. The campaign, and flow (Journey's) functionality is adequate, but not outstanding.

Cross-channel attribution isn’t always transparent, especially when running SMS + email on the same platform.

Limited visibility into subscriber-level engagement (e.g., hard to separate bot activity from real opens/clicks).

Dashboards can feel rigid compared to BI tools—custom reporting requires workarounds or exports.

Attentive helps us centralize SMS and email under one platform, which simplifies campaign management and reporting. It solves the challenge of reaching our customers quickly with personalized, mobile-first messaging, while also giving us tools to automate lifecycle journeys like welcome, post-purchase, and win-back. **What do you like best about Attentive?**

We switched to Attentive for all of our SMS/MMS campaigns about 2 years ago and have loved how simple it is to use, how responsive their white glove team is, and the reliability. A/B testing is easy to implement. It was fairly easy to integrate with our website to track basic metrics like revenue per message, even though we have a custom site.

**What do you dislike about Attentive?**

I do wish they automatically created more segment options for us based on users' shopping habits, but I think part of this is because we have a custom site. I feel like they would if we used a more mainstream platform like Shopify.

Our old text service didn't offer A/B testing or MMS options. Attentive also offers better tracking metrics.
