ATOM is basically a CRM, housing client information centralized for account access, mailing lists, and now VoIP integration. There have been many improvements since we started using this a few years ago. Our main attraction to ATOM is the fact that it communicates directly with Drake tax software in real time. The interface is not the most user-friendly option out there, billing and A/R reports could be more easily generated, and the email function does not accept attachments. (There are legitimate reasons for this but it is still a little awkward.) I hear major updates are coming this summer, so I am excited! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
