What do you like best about Asteron?

They are fast, practical and very easy to work with. They understand both the regulatory side and how product and engineering teams actually work, which was important for us. We especially liked that they did not try to force generic templates onto our company. The processes were built around our product and existing way of working. What do you dislike about Asteron?

There is a lot to absorb at the beginning, especially if your team has not worked deeply with these standards before. During the first couple of weeks it sometimes took us a little time to understand what required input from us and what Asteron would handle. That became much clearer once the project was underway. Recommendations to others considering Asteron:

I would recommend involving your product and engineering leads early and being open about how things actually work internally, including the messy parts. Asteron can move surprisingly quickly when they have access to the right people and information. What problems is Asteron solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to prepare for ISO 13485 and IEC 81001-5-1 without building a large internal compliance function from scratch. Asteron helped us turn the requirements into actual working processes, documentation and evidence, and prepared our team for external assessment. We now also use their Compliance Operations service to keep everything current.
