What do you like best about Ashby?

The reporting is more in depth and customizable than anything else I've seen, and the automations around interview scheduling really save a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ashby?

The initial setup and onboarding is VERY heavy for new users as it's a very technical platform. It would be good to see a more comprehensive onboarding offered for new clients, I had to set up Ashby myself here as the admin and if I hadn't already used it in my last job, I would have really struggled.

It is very difficult to share candidate profiles to members of the hiring team outside the Hiring Manager. Sometimes we need an ad-hoc second opinion from someone outside of the usual loop, and this is basically not possible to share the candidate profile to them.

While I appreciate the intention of interviewers not seeing feedback from prior rounds to reduce bias, it would be good to have a simple built-in way to pass areas for deeper discussion from one round to the next- eg 'we were unsure about SaaS experience in the last round, make more time for this in your interview' Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ashby solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ashby is the only way it is possible for me to run tech hiring here as a team of 1 with no recruiting coordinator! It really lets small teams do a lot with a little. The scheduling workflows, ability to copy over interview plans and scorecards, AI assistance in creating communications- all of this creates a lot of time efficiency.
