"ASAP: Bringing My Organization into the 21st Century"

What do you like best about ASAP Registration + Management Software?

I am the Assistant Director of a community arts school housed on a college campus. We use the Classes and Private Lessons modules that ASAP offers. Going from an antiquated paper-registration system to this software, it's been almost all benefit and very little drawback! Our customers are thrilled that they no longer have to come in to register and fill out the same form each semester for years on end. My job is made so much easier, and I have downsized the filing cabinets in my office from three to one because this has cut down many pounds of unnecessary paperwork and files. I feel we run much more efficiently as an organization thanks to this system. In addition, the support team is really second to none, and they're so responsive. Anytime we've needed something that didn't exist (like a custom report, for example), they found a way to make it happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ASAP Registration + Management Software?

Some of our teachers occasionally moan about the software and pine for "the old days," but that is mostly because we now ask them to do things they weren't required to do before, like take attendance in a way we in the office can access. My only frustrations with ASAP have been minor and dealt directly with the private lessons side of things, and even those were quickly resolved with the help of customer support (and with more experience with the software on my part). Recommendations to others considering ASAP Registration + Management Software:

I highly suggest doing a demo of the ASAP software. This is what sold my organization on the program. Seeing exactly how it works firsthand, and speaking with a member of the support team, you will be able to understand and decide pretty immediately if it is right for your organization. When I first experienced an ASAP demo, I nearly cried with joy because I truly didn't think it was possible for all my administrative needs to be met in one program. What problems is ASAP Registration + Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before implementing ASAP in 2016, my program had still been using paper registration forms (carbon copy sets in quadruplicate--embarrassing though it is to admit this), and we had previously searched for a software that would meet all our needs but came up short. ASAP met all our needs and then some. There have been years in the past when our program was under scrutiny by the college because of finances, but now I can say with great happiness and relief that the college has taken note of the positive strides we're making with the help of ASAP, and our provost recently congratulated our director on what is shaping up to be a record income year for our organization! I certainly believe ASAP has played a key role in this development as it has made us far more accessible to the public and has brought us into the current century at long last. We have even been able to expand the software to include our summer camp and special workshops offered on campus. It's really met our needs in a way I never thought possible.
