## Asana Reviews
 ### 1. Asana Keeps Me Organized—Fast, Fair-Priced, and Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has helped me get organized, hold myself accountable, and meet deadlines that I was missing before because I was losing notes amongst the 15 notepads and legal pads I was writing every single task and thought and reminder in! I LOVE that it can integrate with ChatGPT! That has honestly been the biggest upgrade since I've started using Asana close to a year ago. The price point is very fair, the performance is great - there's never any glitches and it never runs slow, and the support is phenomenal!

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Honestly I haven't found any dislikes so far about Asana. I don't think that I use it to its fullest capability because I'm the only one on the team that uses it. It makes for an excellent invoice payment tracker and to do list for me. I color coded the different categories of my day to day tasks (Administrative, HR, Finance, Brain Dump, etc.) and I can look at the calendar view and see very easily what I've got on the docket for that day. It works very well with my ADHD brain!

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not missing deadlines! And that is benefitting me because my boss is happy and I stay out of trouble lol. Before Asana, I was a hot mess express! Seriously, I can fill a legal pad up from front to back in about three days. With Asana, I can get all of my thoughts out of my head in my Brain Dump project, and then I can go back and sort each task into the appropriate project depending on whether it's HR related, Finance related, or just regular ole Admin related. And no more legal pads stacked up on my desk or shuffling to find notes about x, y, or z.

 ### 2. Seamless Project Management and Team Alignment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ish M. | Associate Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I find Asana's user interface to be quite visually appealing and intuitive, which makes it easy to add items or tasks. The ability to toggle between different boards is fairly intuitive as well. I like the hotkeys/shortcuts, and I really appreciate the email reminders Asana sends out. These features make everything more intuitive and seamless, so I don't feel like Asana is a burden or just another tool to manage. The initial setup of Asana was very easy, the installation process was intuitive and seamless, which I really appreciated. I also use Asana with ChatGPT, and linking them adds high value, allowing me to get status updates and build reports. Asana helps my team by providing 1000% visibility into activities and ensuring everyone is aligned with a central repository for status updates.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think the meeting notes portion of the platform could be improved. I traditionally use MS OneNote for note-taking and I believe it will make my life and work much easier if I can centralize Asana and OneNote in the same platform. I sometimes use the notes function in Asana but it isn't as well developed as I'd hope for. In addition, I think Asana could do a better job at dependencies / multihoming of projects - it is a bit unintuitive to me.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves our team's lack of visibility and accountability issues, providing a central repository for updates and making everyone feel aligned.

 ### 3. Asana review by Emerge Ministries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon W. | Office Manager and Director of IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

A sauna integrates well with Microsoft and performs extremely well in scaling our work and allowing us to track what we are doing. It works well with on boarding and supporting our employees and helping them accomplish their task. The user interface is very easy to follow and the price is very affordable. We have used the AI some and it seems to work very well.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

My dislikes with a sauna mainly have to do with very niche problems that we experience for example, some of the dependency rules and scheduling due dates based off of the rules could use some improvements to become more dynamic and reactive. So mainly the issues become with dynamic role assignments and dynamic due to a assignments that can interact automatically without us having to over program the.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana is helping us solve our current scope of work problems buying allowing us to expand and complete task at a very quick and efficient rate while also tracking what is being done so that we are not missing any steps as we do our work so we are able to work proficiently and excellently across the b while being able to track everything

 ### 4. Intuitive Dashboards and Seamless AI Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia A. | Integrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the UX and the dashboards. The dashboard lets us have a more visual, rapid look at where we stand with to-dos and progress. The UX gives us the advantage of seamless adoption with the team. I also like the Claude–Asana connector, since our company uses Claude as our main AI tool. The connector lets us set up milestones with the help of Claude and have them show up in Asana without double work. The initial setup was pretty easy, and I loved it. I prefer Asana to Monday, which is why I brought it back to this team again.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

More features at the mid-tier level. I want Asana to offer better workload and team-health visualization. I need to see how each team member is loaded with tasks so I can distribute work better. I want capacity % and alerts when someone is close to be overloaded.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for coordination among our IT department, daily to-dos, and rock follow-up since we use the EOS methodology. The dashboards give us a more visual, rapid look at where we stand with to-dos and progress. The Claude connector lets us set up milestones without double work.

 ### 5. Brings Structure and Visibility to Cross-Functional Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raamamirtham S. | Assistant Manager - Marketing & Business Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how effectively it brings structure and visibility to cross-functional work. As someone working closely with Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Tech Ops, Asana helps me break down complex, ongoing initiatives into clear projects, tasks, owners, and timelines.

The flexibility of Asana is a big plus — I can use it both for long-term operational projects and day-to-day BAU requests. Features like custom fields, rules, and forms make it easy to standardize intake, prioritize work, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It has significantly reduced follow-ups and ad-hoc communication by giving all stakeholders a single source of truth.

Overall, Asana has improved accountability, transparency, and execution across teams, especially in fast-moving operational environments

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

While Asana is very strong for internal project and task management, it can feel limited when used for request or ticket-style workflows. Features like native SLA tracking, automatic acknowledgements, and ticket IDs are not built in, which means teams need to rely on workarounds using rules, custom fields, or integrations.

Additionally, managing requests coming in via email alongside form submissions can sometimes feel fragmented, especially for operational teams handling high volumes. More robust reporting around ageing tasks and SLA breaches would also be helpful for operational oversight.

That said, these are manageable gaps for many teams, and Asana continues to work well as a flexible and collaborative platform when combined with clear processes.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of fragmented work management across teams by providing a single platform to track requests, projects, ownership, and timelines. Previously, work was scattered across emails, chats, and spreadsheets, making it difficult to prioritise and follow up.

By centralising work in Asana, I get clear visibility into what is being worked on, who owns it, and what is pending. This has reduced manual follow-ups, improved accountability, and helped ensure that deadlines—especially for operational and cross-functional work—are consistently met. Overall, it enables better planning, execution, and collaboration across Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Tech Ops.

 ### 6. Asana Finally Got My Team on the Same Page

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy C. | Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Task and subtask setup is what hooked me. I can break down a project into smaller pieces, assign them out, set due dates, and then actually forget about following up because the platform handles that nudging for me. The automations are genuinely useful, not just a feature that sounds good in a demo. I use them to move tasks along based on status changes and it has cut down on a lot of back and forth. The timeline view also helps a lot when I need to see how everything stacks up across a given week or month without digging through a list. Integration with Google Drive was easy to set up and I use it constantly.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Search function is not great. If I need to find a task from a few weeks back and I do not remember exactly what it was called or which project it lived in, it can take a while to track it down. For a platform that is supposed to reduce chaos, having a weak search kind of works against that. I know the AI feature is supposed to help with this and it does a little, but it still feels like something that should work better out of the box at this point.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Constant back and forth of figuring out where things stood on a project. Before Asana, that meant checking Slack, digging through email threads, or just asking someone directly and hoping they remembered. Now I can open one place and actually see what is done, what is in progress, and what nobody has touched yet. That visibility alone has made my workweek less stressful.

 ### 7. Asana Makes Task Organization and Project Visibility Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravindra N. | SDET - 2, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like most about Asana is its task organization and project visibility. It provides a clear and structured way to manage work across teams, making it easy to track progress, priorities, and deadlines. Intuitive task and subtask management. Multiple project views, including List, Board, and Timeline. Easy assignment of tasks, owners, and due dates. Project progress tracking with clear status updates. Good collaboration features such as comments, mentions, and notifications. The most valuable feature is the ability to visualize project progress at both a high level and a detailed task level. Team members can quickly understand what is in progress, what is blocked, and what needs attention without spending time in status meetings. The biggest benefit is improved coordination and accountability. Asana helps keep projects organized, ensures responsibilities are clear, and makes it easier for teams to stay aligned on priorities and deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The biggest challenge is notification management. In active projects with many team members, updates, comments, and task changes can generate a large number of notifications, making it difficult to focus on the most important items. Advanced reporting and analytics are somewhat limited compared to specialized project management tools.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of task tracking, project coordination, and team visibility. Without a centralized system, it can be difficult to track responsibilities, deadlines, project status, and dependencies across multiple teams and initiatives. Centralizes tasks, projects, and team activities in one place. Improves visibility into project progress and ownership. Helps teams prioritize work and manage deadlines effectively. Reduces the need for constant status update meetings. Makes collaboration easier through comments, notifications, and task assignments. In my day-to-day work, Asana helps manage project deliverables, track testing activities, coordinate with developers and product teams, and ensure that important tasks are not overlooked. Having a clear view of priorities and progress helps the team stay aligned and accountable. The biggest benefit is organization and transparency. Everyone knows what needs to be done, who is responsible, and what the current status is, which improves execution and helps projects move forward more efficiently.

 ### 8. Asana has transformed how we manage projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richa R. | Senior HRA, People eXperience and Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has been very helpful for our team. We’ve been using it for the past three years, and it has made our work much easier overall. Collaboration between team members is smoother, and ticket management is also far more manageable.
Asana integrates well with tools our teams already use, helping keep project updates, communication, and reporting connected in one place. This reduces context switching and improves overall efficiency.
Performance has been reliable even when managing large projects with multiple stakeholders. Pages load quickly, updates are reflected in real time, and the platform remains responsive during day-to-day use.
The value provided by Asana outweighs the cost. Improved visibility, automation, and project tracking have reduced manual coordination efforts and helped teams save time while delivering work more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Overall, I had a positive experience with Asana. The main area for improvement would be reducing the learning curve for new users, since some advanced features take time to understand and can feel overwhelming at first. However, once you get the hang of Asana, I think it makes life much easier for managing every task, project, ticket, and more.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve challenges related to project visibility, task tracking, communication, and coordination across teams. It reduces time spent on manual updates, keeps work organized in one place, and helps identify risks or blockers early. The AI features further improve productivity by automating routine tasks, summarizing updates, and helping teams make faster, more informed decisions. This enables me to spend more time on high-value work and less time on administrative activities.

 ### 9. Intuitive, visual, and highly efficient project tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mae Joebelle D. | Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana as a Work Management Platform to map out our day-to-day tasks into larger projects and broader team portfolios. It solves the problem of scattered communication and lack of accountability by centralizing everything, eliminating confusion, and making it clear who owns each task and how it connects to the broader project timeline. I love the highly visual and intuitive user interface, and being able to switch between List, Kanban Board, and Timeline views makes tracking project progress incredibly simple. It feels modern and clean, which helps with quick team adoption. It's so easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The platform can have a steep learning curve for new users due to the extensive features.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to map out tasks into larger projects, solving scattered communication and accountability issues. It centralizes everything, making roles, timeline connections, and deadlines clear.

 ### 10. Steep Learning Curve, Functional but Complex

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabrielle Y. | Freelance Writer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana all right, especially now that I've gotten past the hard learning curve. I appreciate that it has not just checklists but also a board view. Asana's board view makes it pretty similar to Trello, which is important to me as a visual kinetic learner because drag and drop functionality is crucial.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It's too complicated for what it is. You shouldn't need to go consult a YouTube video or dig through endless documentation just to figure out how to create a new tag, for example. It just needs to function more simply.

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

When upgrading to get the premium features make sure that there isn't already a zap or something that can do what you need already.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana provides a place to log and mark off tasks. Its board view helps me as a visual kinetic learner by offering drag and drop functionality, similar to Trello.
