**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Asana?**

How easy it is to use and the mobile app is really convenient
More features being implemented regularly

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Exporting tasks into spreadsheet feature should be improved a bit further

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

Start by going through the Asana guide as it has a lot of tips and tricks. And then get started directly by creating your first team, project and task. With time you will find out all the features that Asana has to offer and normally it is very fast to get used to everything :)

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps a lot with project management or even all day to day tasks. Having them in Asana helps to ensure nothing is being missed. Communication with team members on a specific topic is organized in Asana under the relevant tasks, with project updates, etc
I also like the recent feature of marking notes with thumbs up this helps also when many comments are in a task and you are going through them to ensure nothing is being missed. For this the thumbs up feature helps a lot.
Benefits for the team: More organized way of working
Board feature is great as well and that finally can switch between list and board view
It also allows me to create new project templates that the whole team can use and update.
I love that tasks can be tagged under various projects as this helps especially when coordinating projects that you can tag the most important tasks to be monitored in a separate project that not everybody has access to.
Nice is also the comment only feature that can be set and the custom fields are really helpful too.

Asana constantly works on further improving their tool, they also listen to what features users would love to have. Literally every week there are news about new things being implemented :)

I can really recommend Asana for everybody, whether you are an individual that just needs to organize some things like shopping list or other kinds of to-do-lists or small and also big teams.
I am using Asana every day on my desktop and phone.

**Reviewed by:** Anthony B. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the automations and connection to apps we already use in Asana. Creating a GitHub issue from a triaged issue and notifying the CSR from closing a pull request that solved the issue is really helpful. I also appreciate storing resolutions in Notion as a knowledge base. Additionally, setting up projects and boards was fairly simple. the free mobile app with offline access allows our csrs to record issues from anywhere, regardless of internet connectivity

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Getting info on the possible connections is a bit difficult for a beginner. The rules and customization features are a bit hidden. I had to ask the Asana AI where things were.

I was able to introduce Asana as our property management system for guest check-ins and checkouts. What I love about this software is that I can invite multiple guests to collaborate on a project, and it’s very user-friendly. Being able to create my own customised fields is honestly the best part.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Nothing at all. I’m happy with everything Asana is offering.

I can also say that Asana stands out for its AI features, allowing you to automate processes and simplify all kinds of virtual tasks, improving the overall performance of all your business operations.

 ### 8. Effortless Onboarding and Flexible Task Management in Asana

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Technical Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I appreciate how easy it is to start working in Asana even with minimal setup, and this simplicity realy helps teams get moving fast. The interface offers several ways to view tasks which makes it flexible for different workstyles. I also find it extremely helpful that Asana integrates smoothly with other apps which reduces a lot of manual effort throughout the week.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I notice is that some advanced features can feel a bit hidden which slows me down at times. The amount of notifications can become overwhelming if they are not managed well, and that's a smal irritation that builds up over time. I also think that some integrations take a little longer to configure than I would expect.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me keep track of multiple projects without losing sight of deadlines, which is a huge relief in busy periods. It also centralizes communication so I dont have to chase updates across different channels. With recurring tasks and automation, a lot of routine work is taken off my hands, letting me focus on higher value activities.

 ### 9. Elevates Marketing Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa Z. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana for the multiple views of the same task, dependencies, custom fields, automation, reminders, and visibility features. It gives me an in-depth view and keeps me on track. I can always know where projects and tasks are at, identify bottlenecks, and have all the information for each project brought together. The initial setup was very easy and I had no issues.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

AI reporting summary is not accurate and needs to be manually updated, and there's no way to highlight an area in tasks, which would be helpful to call out areas that need clarification.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to keep teams aligned, manage task status, and bring project info together, helping me see bottlenecks and track everything.

 ### 10. Email Reminders and Automation Supercharge Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haley C. | Founder / Marketing Strategist , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for project management and it helps me increase productivity while staying on track and organized with a large number of clients. I love the automation features, like setting up email reminders for tasks, which ensures I never second-guess priority levels or due dates. I can easily add team members to the site, assign them tasks, and track their progress. Asana’s mobile layout and project management tools are better than what I previously used, and the initial setup was incredibly easy, done in the blink of an eye.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Nothing!

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to increase productivity, stay organized while managing clients, set up email reminders for tasks, and assign tasks to team members, tracking their progress easily.

 ### 11. Easy Project Notes and Searchable Tasks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay O. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

That we can leave notes and updates on specific projects and that I can search projects of tasks easily.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Sometimes the search isn't the best when I'm looking for something specific it doesn't always come up. Maybe there is a tag function I haven't seen yet.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of approvals, task and project management.

 ### 12. Streamlines Ministry Projects with Templates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love the templates that I'm able to create and then relaunch every year. Since our ministry year looks the same more or less, having a template that we can use year to year is really helpful. It saves me a lot of time, as I'm able to use the template to build out the projects and pre-assign due dates and assignees. This just saves us an incredible amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'm not able to use as many of the automated workflows as I'd like to, or maybe I just don't understand it. It could be helpful to have more suggestions or a way to interact easier to figure out if we could turn some of our projects or tasks into automations. Also, we didn't love how it was integrated with Microsoft or Outlook. It was easy to set up, but to understand, it's taken us a little while.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to organize workflows for our church ministry, saving time by assigning tasks during meetings and avoiding sticky notes. It helps streamline project setup using reusable templates, making our processes efficient.

 ### 13. Insightful Dashboards That Keep Teams on the Pulse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The dashboards of being able to see all that is happening with the department and team. It helps me keep my finger on the pulse of the organization. Well designed projects and tasks open the doors for insights.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Designing projects can be difficult at different points. Not from task creation that is very simplistic which can be difficult to organize and report on if a process or system is not followed.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of knowing where the status of things are. It helps keep abreast on the ins and outs of the organization. As well as organizing project timelines and statuses.

 ### 14. Automated Reminders and Summaries Make Project Tracking Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abrar A. | Program Manager at Engine Design & Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

1. The system provides automated reminders to the assignee, which helps keep tasks on track.
2. Additionally, it generates weekly summaries of project or portfolio progress and status automatically.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

1. Firstly, it would be helpful to have a recycle bin feature that allows users to recover deleted tasks or projects within a set period, such as 14 days, before they are permanently removed. This would give users a chance to restore items they may have deleted by mistake.
2. Secondly, adding keyboard shortcuts for quicker updates and navigation would greatly improve efficiency. Relying solely on the mouse, especially the left-click, can be time-consuming and tends to slow down the workflow for project managers.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana has offered a common dashboard for real time collaboration by CFT team. Communication gaps is resolved and information flow is streamlined. Single assignee feature makes one person accountable even though there are multiple collaborators working on that particular task.
Asana also generates dashboard on portfolio level on a single click and we can customize the view as per our choice therefore saving a lot of time in creating dashboard for review by senior management.

 ### 15. Sleek Black Theme and a Compact, Interactive Dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shub G. | Sales & Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the black theme on Asana and the small, compact version of the dashboard. I also like how easily I can add many rows and evaluate the data in a more interactive way.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish it had a lead generation and email marketing branch. I come from Sales and Operations, and Asana works amazingly for ops, but it doesn’t really connect as well with Sales.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for everything: tracking my tasks, organizing my files, and keeping things arranged.

 ### 16. Asana is the Power User dream PM tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier O. | Senior Manager, Training & Quality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The integrations with Make, Zapier make Asana a great power user tool. I like how easy is to create automations, manage large groups of tasks and use emails to auto magically update statuses

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Regular users find it confusing and tend to not use it in my company which trigger the look for an easier to use alternative. Reminders are not as straightforward to define if recurrence is needed

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana is the perfect PM tool to collaborate for power users, it helped me automate my workflows and my teams as well. It saved me about 10-12 hours per week that I’d had to spend keeping track of progress

 ### 17. Easy project management and task progress status with deadline reminders.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preticia E. | Operations Team Lead, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Easy to visualise the task board with a timeline and the team member responsible for the task. It is also very easy to collaborate on a task assigned to others and make relevant changes to that specific task. Also, it integrates with most of the tools at my work like Slack, HubSpot, etc., very seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It would be helpful if team members could have a conversation or thread within a task so it stays within the task and collaborators could look into it if needed.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When integrated with some apps, it triggers the action and gets added to the specified workflow Keeps the routine well maintained with details in it on how to proceed or perform a task. Making it clear for the team member to work on and handling the task on time. It also helps in sharing the task board and reassigning when needed.

 ### 18. Steep learning curve, but essential once you know it

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate D. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the new interface. I enjoy the collaborative uses that Asana provides, and the updates to the linking tasks across various platforms is highly functional.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think its pretty flawless. The only thing that I struggle with is better color coding ability. Each task is randomly assigned a color, and you can change it, but I think having a set way of doing it / more autonomy would be better.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work on the data and tech side of our organization, Asana makes our lives easier when managing tickets and needs from the greater team. Asana solves organizational needs and keeps tasks in their own buckets.

 ### 19. User-Friendly Interface That Delivers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daria Z. | Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana every day at work. As a content manager, I need to publish different content categories every day and sometimes it's really hard to keep everything organized. Asana helps me with following my schedule and user experience is always smooth. I also like the fact that I can use it on both laptop and mobile, because it helps me to check my schedule quickly even if I'm not at the work desk.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Sometimes it's difficult to understand new features and how to use them.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keeping me organised with my work schedule.

 ### 20. Simple, User-Friendly Platform That Makes Team Accountability Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie H. | Senior Special Projects Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

the platform at its core is very simple
holds many different resources that are easily accessible and userfriendly
Accountability across teams is made simple

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It can get feel overwhelming very easily if it is implemented in a certain way without flexibility for change - more dependent on the user
Pulling reports can be hard with subtasks since they don't show up as part of the project plan in excel sheets.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps guide my conversations. It helps me track updates. It gives us a standard project plan through templates so I don't have to start from scratch.

 ### 21. Wouldn't recommend. Use Monday

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Nothing so far. Our salesperson was friendly and engaged, but that’s really all I can say at this point.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

For a large US-based organization, this feels strange to me from a management and support standpoint. There are no US-based support hours (and I’m US-based). You also can’t schedule support, so you’re left hoping they respond at a time when you aren’t asleep.

The SCIM setup was atrocious and took over a month to remedy. Now that we can provision users with the correct license, they’re unable to get in at all. I’ve contacted support and my new account manager twice at this point and have received zero replies.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can’t even get users logged in properly, so I can’t use it effectively for work.

 ### 22. Great for Task Tracking, Still Room to Grow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Tracking tasks is done really well with subtasks and the inbox for seeing what I have on my plate across projects.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish it integrated better with basic information tracking as opposed to task tracking. I also wish that it integrated better with Google Tasks. Since we use Google Workspace across the company, this is a pain point. The pricing is also somewhat expensive for a large team.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task tracking and project management is going very smoothly, especially across departments.

 ### 23. Simplifies Nonprofit Operations with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chance B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like the simplicity and ease of use of Asana. It's been particularly helpful as we've experienced growth, with the ability to assign tasks being a crucial piece. It allows our team to work more efficiently without replicating communications. The granularity it provides is great for detailed projects, enabling us to segment tasks to team members and keep everything housed in the same place.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think there's we've had a little bit of trouble with adoption on the team, with a couple of members. So I think if there was a more straightforward way to set it up. I know each organization's a little different, so you know, in terms of onboarding and trainings, it just felt like we've had to revisit that several times.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps our team work more efficiently by streamlining operations and reducing redundant communications.

 ### 24. Real-Time Team Collaboration That Makes Work Smoother

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro G. | Ejecutivo de Ads Operation , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

We can collaborate with my team in real time, which makes working together much smoother.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think the notification system doesn’t work very well.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual Process Fatigue
The Problem: Repetitive administrative tasks—like assigning a designer once a brief is submitted or moving a ticket to "Done"—drain productivity.

The Benefit: Through Workflow Builder and AI (Asana Intelligence), these steps are automated. For me, this means less "clerical" work and more time for "deep work." The AI can even summarize long comment threads or draft status updates, which is a massive mental energy saver.

 ### 25. Clear, Visual Project Planning That Keeps My Day Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that it takes the steps I need to complete for a project and lays them out clearly for me. I can manage multiple projects across platforms and use it to organize my day and everything I need to do in a visual way, which I can also share with my team.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

the only thing i don't like about asana is the fact that sometimes I can get lost. there isn't a lot of ways to customize the projects and things you are working on in your dashboard so sometimes it will just show you everything

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps me share my progress with my team and assign them things they need to do in the future

 ### 26. The Ultimate Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Musadiq M. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love how Asana helps us streamline tasks and track our entire progress while staying collaborated. The clean interface doesn't seem boring, and I find it valuable that everything is managed from a single dashboard. The platform is versatile enough to customize using widgets, and the initial setup was smooth, taking us only a few days to get used to it. Overall, I think Asana is excellent on every front and is the best tool for project management.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think Asana is excellent in every front. The only dislike is the limit of free users, though I completely understand the business logic behind it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps streamline tasks and track progress while staying collaborative. It offers a clean interface that isn't boring, and everything is managed from a single dashboard, which is versatile enough to customize with widgets.

 ### 27. Color-Coded Boards and Tags Make Project Tracking Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Separate boards for each team member and client. Color coordinated and easy to add tags to each project, and make parent/child tasks.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Each time it opens a board, it shows all tasks rather than the ones that need to be completed. It also has a lag time in notifications at times (about half a day)

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management across many teams. It's helping things stay on track, but wish that it notified people in the app/via email of their overdue tasks to try and motivate them to complete before the end of day.

 ### 28. Simple, Versatile UI with Smooth Integrations Across Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The UI is simple but provides enough versatility to use across multiple teams in an organization. The integrations work with softwares our company already utilizes and for the most part it performs well.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Onboarding has been a bit tough for some of our team members but we will get there with more training. Would be nice to see more training features for specific roles in a company.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving clarity of work and a source of truth to our team.

 ### 29. Streamlined Project Tracking with Some AI Challenges

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like that Asana has rules that I can set to reduce the amount of touches I make on each task. The ability to categorize and report out to my upper management is also valuable. The rules help me to reduce my workflow and eliminate gaps within the process. Additionally, the categorization makes it easier for me to report to my leadership and create visibility for different objects inside of my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I do not like the AI assistant or the way that it creates rules. They just have never worked correctly for me. I also do not like the import, since it never gets the columns correct.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of quickly distributing a lot of information to many people. It centralizes our business and provides complete visibility through the project life cycle.

 ### 30. Very Easy to Use with Flexible Ways to Apply

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nora M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Very easy to use and I can apply it multiple ways

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The layout is not my favorite. Email notifications are flat to me. I wish things were more automated for my dashboard. I have to do manual adjustments. fine for now, but not when I scale. I only needed 1 account, but you required two. That really annoys me. You're squeezing more out of small business which almost made me not sign up.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a place to track performance, create project flows and process flows for business, sales, marketing, and product. I could do that all in Asana.

 ### 31. Organized Project Management, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noe I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for admin and operations, and it really helps me stay organized and on top of things to complete projects in a timely manner. I like being able to collaborate with other team members and assign tasks, which helps me understand where we are with the project.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I use it for project management sometimes, but I wish it had a better experience or progress bar. Also the interface can be a bit more user-friendly. It's a powerful tool but I do hope you can integrate Claude or ChatGPT to help execute tasks such as creating documents and more.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me stay organized, ensures I complete projects in a timely manner, and facilitates collaboration by allowing me to assign tasks and track project progress with team members.

 ### 32. Intuitive and Customizable Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louie M. | Service Delivery Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I find Asana very user-friendly and intuitive with a nice graphical user interface. I also like the ability to adapt it to our needs with customized fields. This flexibility helps us add fields that aren't already in Asana, like tracking resources for a particular project or the specific program a project belongs to. It's a very good program.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only area I can think of where it could improve is to maybe add little pop-ups. That you can see a brief explanation or summary of what a particular field is being used for. When you hover over perhaps the dependencies field or if you click on a little question mark, on the collaborator section, where it gives you an explanation of what a collaborator is, for example.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps us track project status, implementation, successes, roadblocks, and resource allocation within network operations projects.

 ### 33. Well-Structured, Feature-Rich Tool for Managing Teams, Tasks, and Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan B. | Development Manager/ Office Administrator/ Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Very well structured, has all the functions needed to create a good managed structure and build the teams and tasks and projects around it.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It's a bit pricey, and some functions feel hidden because of the visual clutter, for example the filter button in the top left, AI can be improved too, sometimes it does a task for me exactly how i want it, sometimes it tells me it cannot do it and just gives me instructions for the exact same task where and how to upload it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes misscomunication less common, and helps the managing director look where is the work load and what can be improved and who to give more tasks to.

 ### 34. Asana: Feature-Rich, Easy to Use, and Truly Time-Saving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like all the features Asana offers. It's very easy to use and consistently makes my life at the company much easier.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The cost could be better. Other than that, it's great.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm currently using Asana as a dispatch tool for teams working out in the field.

 ### 35. Simplified My Business Workflow with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betsy F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love how Asana helps me track my time and manage my capacity, allowing me to do everything in one place without relying on multiple platforms. The ease of use and simple UI are fantastic, making navigation so easy that admin tasks don't take up precious time. It was a huge upgrade from manually using Notion, and the initial setup was very simple.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish I could only pay for one seat as I'm a solo business owner and would like to upgrade to the Pro plan but can't justify the price for two seats.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to track my time and manage my capacity, doing everything in one place instead of relying on multiple platforms. Its ease of use and simple UI mean the admin doesn't take up much time.

 ### 36. Asana’s User-Friendly Interface and Flexible Views Make Task Tracking Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylee H. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love that it is user-friendly and shows multiple different views so you can view your tasks/projects the way you like! I use it every day and it make collaboration with my co-workers extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only thing I dislike about Asana is that it doesn't have a good outside integration with AI platforms, like Claude, (that I know of) yet and I would love to be able to connect directly into it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep the team on track for projects and it helps me stay on top of my workload by keeping me to a set timeline.

 ### 37. Dynamic Project Management with Asana's Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mukul S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for managing projects in my organization. I appreciate its multi-homing feature and the ability to share information across teams without exposing all variables, keeping the board simple. The customizable Asana API makes it easy to create custom reports and web apps, like sending Slack messages on project updates or building custom HTML dashboards. I value how Asana allows me to create different views for different teams, offering control over how data is displayed, which is incredibly beneficial for efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

1. Access for users gets confusing, especially with what Edit and Admin rights entail, and I can't change access for users in bulk, which is a big issue. This makes it difficult when I need to grant Admin rights to my team, requiring me to do it manually for each project. 2. Rollover fields are not available, making it hard to pull up information on fields to show count, average, etc., at a higher level. 3. The automations are good but not extensive, limiting use cases. If Asana could invest in features like what Make or Zapier provides, it would be a huge advantage.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for project management and tracking progress. It helps manage priorities and efficiency with custom views and automations, enhancing team productivity.

 ### 38. Streamlined Project Management with Impressive Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marilyn M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for project and team management. I love its ability to look through multiple projects and see how work is assigned across multiple teams. The custom fields and dashboards in Asana are very useful. Custom fields allow us to track metrics that are important to our organization. Dashboards offer a quick and easy way to present information to leadership at our organization. Setting up Asana was very easy and integrations were simple.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think Asana could have more customization to dashboards and better rule implementation. The rules don't have a way to manually launch when you create a new rule for a project. I'd love more dynamic dashboard widgets which can change based on the information you're filtering by.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana lets me organize tasks by due date or category, preventing me from losing track. I also like how it allows me to check multiple projects and team work assignments.

 ### 39. Manage professional initiatives and business collaboration with Asana's features.

I can also say that Asana stands out for its customer service features, addressing all the requirements and request of each user, personalizing and improving their entire technical experience.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Asana's digital features and tools I have been able to manage all my business initiatives and projects professionally and productively, promoting collaboration and business communication across all departments in my organization.

 ### 40. Business clarity, project management and advanced strategies with Asana's digital features.

 ### 41. Asana keeps us on task and super organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana continues to be an amazing tool for us. We have been utilizing it more recently to see the bandwidth of staff, so we can see where we can be more efficient and improve workflow. It has helped the workflow at the agency immensely. I don't know what we would do without it.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Every once in a great while, there is an outage, and it really does hinder workflow. However, that really talks to how much we depend on it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, on-time task completion, time tracking spent on tasks, and employee accountability. All of these things allow us to complete items on time, accountable and collaboratively.

 ### 42. Streamlined Team Communication with Asana

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tashara W. | Executive Assistant

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana's ability to communicate with Outlook because it allows me to capture conversations sent to me via email easily. The integration is valuable as it opens a tab and drops the conversations into Asana without having to flip through pages or manually transferring the information. This feature makes managing tasks and communicating with my supervisor more efficient. Also, setting up Asana was really easy thanks to the resources available at Asana Academy.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would like to see automatic tab drop-downs instead of having to click an arrow to open them. Some tabs I just want to get an overview of, so having automatic drop-downs would make a big difference for me personally.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana as a task manager and to communicate with my supervisor. It solves the problem of tracking conversations between peers by consolidating information. Its integration with Outlook is valuable, as it captures email conversations seamlessly into Asana without extra steps.

 ### 43. Fast, Easy AI with Great Google Drive and Claude Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love the AI implementation—it gets things done super fast for me. The interface is very easy to use and understand, and I really like the integrations with Google Drive and Claude.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The cost can add up, and I’m especially not a fan of the automated rules, which can eat up credits very quickly—I found that out the hard way.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team is spread all over the world, and this helps us work together smoothly because everything stays in one place—no more scattered files or endless email threads.

 ### 44. Asana: Flexible, Powerful Workflows with Clear Audit Trails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rui M. | Maintenance Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is very flexible for structuring complex operational workflows, especially hierarchical work, automation rules, and cross-team collaboration, while keeping a clear audit trail of changes and decisions. I like Asana’s ease of use, fast implementation, and the breadth of features that support planning, execution, and collaboration in one place. I use it daily. it was very easy to integrate in my daily rotine.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Granular permission control is limited, which means governance relies more on process discipline and procedures than on technical access restrictions.Advanced permission control and governance options are limited and require workaround design. Till today i never needed the custumer support help.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana centralizes operational execution, task tracking, and collaboration, improving visibility, accountability, and planning efficiency while keeping the core system of record unchanged.

 ### 45. Accountability has improved!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I value Asana for its functionality. Having previously used other tools like Workfront in a large enterprise setting and Monday.com at a smaller agency, I’ve noticed that each platform offers features tailored to different organizational needs. What sets Asana apart for me is its method of assigning responsibility: only one user is marked as accountable for completing a task, while others can be added as collaborators without being the main stakeholder. In contrast, other platforms often allow multiple people to share responsibility for a single task, which can lead to confusion. Asana’s approach has greatly minimized internal misunderstandings in my experience.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'm not especially pleased with how the views are organized. Sometimes, it's hard to review the dashboard and get a clear overview of the tasks for each project, as well as for each team as a whole. Moving quickly between tasks and their subtasks can also be tricky. Although having subtasks within subtasks might appear helpful, I've noticed that if these aren't thoroughly described, important details can be missed. This can result in tasks being overlooked, particularly when deadlines or proper assignments are missing. My main issue is that you have to assign admins to every single team or project individually in order for them to have editing permissions, which is both tedious and occasionally difficult to manage.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana has helped us address our communication challenges and the absence of historical data. It’s now much simpler to refer back to previous projects when beginning a new one that’s similar. By eliminating guesswork, I no longer need to involve my team for clerical details that can be automated with templates. This allows my meetings to focus on more meaningful discussions, as I have access to the detailed information necessary for the actual project work.

 ### 46. Excellent project management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana offers good automation possibiliets, creating work fluxes that I widely use. Also, it allows to generate activities via a web browser form, which can be very helpful for some ticketing style activities.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would have liked to have a better management of the sub-activities, with an automatic update of main activities end dates according to their sub-tasks. Unfortunately, this function is not present

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Asana, I was using other tools available to my group. Each one of this tool was achieving a goal that I needed for activity management, but none of them was able to achieve all.
This caused to have activities fragmented on different activity management tools and sheets. In the end this caused an end to the activity management.
With Asana I have an integrated environment that satisfies my needs: long projects' management, short and punctual acitivies, extendend collaboration

 ### 47. Clear Team Coordination and Easy Task Tracking in Asana

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aniruddha R. | Travel support executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana helps create clarity in team coordination by keeping everything aligned in one place. It’s straightforward to assign tasks, track updates, and stay on top of work, so there’s less need for constant follow-ups or unnecessary back-and-forth.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Task dependencies and timelines can feel tricky to manage for more complex projects.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me organize my daily tasks and campaign work in a clear, structured way, so I can track progress without needing constant follow-ups. I use it to manage priorities, stay on top of what needs to happen next, and keep everything moving according to schedule.

 ### 48. User-Friendly with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mare D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how easy Asana is to use. It didn't take any training at all and was pretty self-explanatory. It is quick to learn. I also appreciate that it allows me to see my resourcing and track progress on the project. The ease of Asana's functionality was a major reason for switching to it, as it is less complex than monday.com, and Teamwork didn't have the functions we were looking for. The initial setup of Asana was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I find it annoying that sub tasks don't automatically stay with the parent task, and I have to manually create dependencies. Also, it'd be really useful to have a holiday calendar for the year that auto populates into all of our company's projects.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Asana allows me to see my resourcing and track progress on the project.

 ### 49. Asana Keeps Our Marketing Campaigns Organized and On Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor B. | Senior Webinar Marketing Manager & Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

At my company we use Asana for our marketing campaigns. I use it every single day. I love that i can add my own tasks and tag all the appropriate team members. I can keep track of registrants (goal) and once its archived i can always find it.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It took awhile to figure out. There is a lot to know about asana so when we get new employees its a lot of training and them figuring it out.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to email everything during the campaigns so with asana there is no need to communicate through email.

 ### 50. Simple, Straightforward Software That Fits Our Organization Perfectly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dadi J. | Business Development Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Simple straightforward software that fits perfectly for my organization.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Very few things not to like. Actual hours spent are a little cumbersome to extract from the system. (csv in an email.) Customizable report would be easier.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing projects but I also use Asana to organize my time. It has replaced all sorts of time management tools.
