What do you like best about Asana?

I love the ability to connect a task to multiple projects. The different view options are also great, since sometimes a calendar view is more valuable, and other times I prefer a board view. The rules help me keep my boards cleaned up and organized, and tags enhance that clarity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I wish it was easier to assign dates to repeating projects. I'm a content creator and manager, and I'd love to auto-populate dates based on the number of days from the start date rather than having to establish an actual calendar date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

Now that we have Portfolios, that's made it somewhat easier to keep team projects in one place. I personally have a single project in which I manage all of my blog posts, social media posts, and copyrighting assignments as individual tasks with subtasks. I use the Board view to organize tasks by type, then the Calendar view shows me when each task is due. And when a task needs to be viewed by more teams than just myself, I add it to other projects so managers can see how my deadlines align with other team content.
