I work in a holiday hotel that closes in winter, and every spring it has to be reopened in a few weeks: checking the pool, the kitchen, and the rooms, and training the staff. Before, all of this was in an Excel sheet that circulated via email, and each department had its own version. Now I have a template in Asana with a section for each department, and each task has a person responsible and a date counting down from the opening day. This year, I saw in advance that the pool pump test still had no date, and we scheduled it ten days before opening, not the day before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The maintenance team prefers WhatsApp and hardly ever uses the app, so I often update their tasks after talking to them. The template also includes tasks that aren't relevant for all hotels, and someone has to delete them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
