What do you like best about Asana?

I like how organized the app is. When I first started using Asana in 2020, I hated it, but over the years it has tremendously improved. I enjoy the animations that appear when you complete a task. I also like that you can integrate other apps and put documents in the tasks themselves. The Asana Academy has also been very helpful in making me more confident using the software. I also like the certification options. I have gotten two Asana certifications, served as an ambassador previously, and have seen career improvements because of it. What do you dislike about Asana?

It would be nice if Asana was more customizable to you or even to the organization. Perhaps the option to put your own logo on there or implement your colors could be nice. I don't like how subtasks are never-ending. For example, you can place a subtask inside a subtask inside a subtask, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used Asana to essentially create a living syllabus during grad school. I was able to map out my entire semester, add my due dates, the assignment descriptions, notes, and even the assignments themselves. I then used the widget feature on Apple to put Asana right in the middle of my home screen so I always knew what I had to do that day. It has really been a game changer for me. I also use it to organize my work professionally and personally, creating 90-day cycles for myself while utilizing the milestone feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
