What do you like best about aReception?

We use aReception for two things at our sawmill: checking in visitors and contractors at the main entrance, and registering truck drivers at the gate. We handle over 40 trucks a day, up to 60 at peak. Drivers register themselves at the kiosk in their own language (we run it in 4 languages) and then get an SMS telling them that can go into our premises. About 80% of drivers do it without any help from our staff. At the entrance, every contractor completes the safety briefing on the terminal before walking in, and we keep a record of who came, when, and that they went through the briefing. What do you dislike about aReception?

The first weeks needed some tuning of the questions and flows to fit our gate setup. The team fixed things quickly, but plan some time for it. I would also welcome more flexible reporting exports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is aReception solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before aReception, the gate was a bottleneck. Our staff wrote every driver into paper forms and a spreadsheet, queues built up and we never had a reliable overview of which trucks were on site. Today the queue moves on its own, we save around 12 hours of gate work per day, and the old spreadsheet is gone. For me as Safety Manager the key benefit is that every external person on site has completed the safety briefing, and I can prove it at any time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
