What do you like best about ArcGIS Enterprise?

Ability to integrate with existing on-prem infrastructure, connecting directly to existing geodatabases, local data sources, and local imagery. The enterprise license also offers unlimited viewer-level licenses when internal data sharing is enabled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ArcGIS Enterprise?

It requires significant in-house knowledge to maintain. Connections to geodatabases sometimes break with GeoEvent, and GeoViews can occasionally go offline if the server isn’t rebooted properly. Also time consuming for software uodates. In addition servers require significant amount of resources, especially in virtualized environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ArcGIS Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?

ArcGIS gives us the ability to keep our GIS environment fully in-house and under our control. It supports large datasets and robust data handling, with the added benefits of on-prem security, speed, and flexible resource allocation.
