Appspace is the thing that really works for me. The screens are a great feature. Prior to using Appspace we had six tvs (with USB sticks) running in the lobby, break area and hallways outside our large conference room. Every day someone would come in and decide what should run on each TV. With Appspace i can open up the admin page from my couch at 9 pm, upload an image to one channel, click “publish,” and by morning time all six tvs will have that image displayed. The desk reservation part of Appspace is good too, as i can pull up the map, see where my team members generally sit, and claim a desk before going to sleep. All of this takes less than 10 seconds and has worked for me so far (which is all i ask). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After making two phone calls before being able to explain how much we’d actually be paying per month, this confused me more than i was frustrated with the actual amount. The administrator side of Appspace is heavy as well. half the configuration options require clicking through three layers, and nothing allows you to perform batch edits, so if you wanted to change the footer of 40 slides you’ll need to make those changes 40 separate times – just like it’s 2009.
