Terrible Experience. The service is unreliable, and that overshadows any potential benefits. Trust is essential when using a platform like this, and sadly, AppMySite failed to deliver **What do you dislike about AppMySite?** My overall experience with AppMySite was extremely negative. Not only was the service unsatisfactory, but I was also charged €938.98 instead of the originally agreed €186.89 a massive, unauthorized increase. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of transparency. I strongly advise others to stay away from this service **What problems is AppMySite solving and how is that benefiting you?** While the core idea behind AppMySite could be interesting, the way the company operates makes it impossible to benefit from the service. The platform might aim to simplify app creation, but any potential value is completely overshadowed by how unreliable and untrustworthy the company is. Unauthorized charges, poor support, and a lack of transparency turn what could be a helpful tool into a serious risk. ### 4. Furthermore some bugs I found in the way I use it, have been solved, most of the time very quick, within a few days. If you change content on your website, it is almost direct changed in the app. **What do you dislike about AppMySite?** Not all options are available. For instance I would like to have a map (MY application is promotion of a city). But that are more or less nice to have points. We promote those on the webite, but better via the App. ### 7. Bad support, unclear instructions, 521% price hike! **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Judiciary | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025 **What do you like best about AppMySite?** The UI is somewhat easy to use, the idea of the service is a nice one. **What do you dislike about AppMySite?** VAGUE UNCLEAR INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO SIGNING UP - The website makes it seem as if you just create an app and easily publish to Apple and Google. This is not the case. You also need to have a Google Developer Account as well as an iOS developer account. The iOS account is 99/yr through apple. SLOW, USELESS SUPPORT - my support tickets were slow to be answered, rarely resolved, and more or less told me it was my fault for not knowing how their software works and not knowing about the App Publishing processes with Apple and Google. But, they advertise this as the easy simple solution and you don't need to know those things. I do now, but it's been a painstaking process. PRICE HIKE OF 521% - We signed up for this service September 4, 2024 at a rate of $228 per year for the Pay-per-app Pro Yearly. This service was missing some of the advertised features and they claimed they were not responsible for errors on their website (WHAT?). on September 27, 2024 I got an email titled "We're updating our product pricing" with vague word salad trying to justify the increase without actually saying how much they're increasing. The new price is now $129/mo paid monthly or $99/mo paid annually, which is what we did before except $1,188 which is an annual increase of $960 for the SAME PRODUCT. No new features. I was notified of new features, but they are only available on the highest plan. The designing and building part of the process is easy and straight forward. HOWEVER, design and functionality is extremely limited and you are bound to a very vanilla cookie cutter type format. Compiling builds and exporting apps is easy, and probably the only positive note about this entire experience. I am more than happy to provide anyone with my ticket history and communications with this company as proof of my claims. STAY AWAY. You are better off learning to code on your own or find a better, more established company (AppyPie for example) **What problems is AppMySite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was supposed to get around having to learn how to code apps for iOS and Google. It is more of a hassle and waste of time than anything. I wish I had never signed up for this, as I have wasted months where I could have just learned all the code! ### 8. Even when paid. Changed subscription from $49 to $390 a month. Did this without communication, no reposne to countless questions about it. There are other platforms outthere a lot most honest. However, I feel that it would be even better if they could assist more in actually publishing your iOS or Android apps on both stores - especially since this website is run by two different entities which may make integration difficult at times but there are still resources available online for learning how to apply either Apple's iTunes Store Or Google Play Stores! **What problems is AppMySite solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppMySite made the process of turning my website into an app simple and straightforward. AppMySite will automatically import content and products from a Wordpress and WooCommerce app and provide an elevated shopping experience to end-users through an app. The native WooCommerce application type makes it simple to integrate a mobile application within your existing ecosystem. The customer support has been quick and answered all my questions. I have been a frequent user of AppMySite for over two years. **What do you dislike about AppMySite?** AppMySite does not have integration with native App Store/Google Play in-app purchases and subscriptions, which makes it difficult to pass native monetization checks unless the purchases do not provide any in-app benefit, mostly limiting the revenue to in-app advertisements and virtual and physical products. **What problems is AppMySite solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppMySite is allowing myself to provide my audience with a native app for accessing my educational blog posts, merchandise, and even services like my rocket launch and space event tracker.
