What do you like best about Applause?

Applause give you the flexibility to test in ways that were previously impossible. You can leverage people from around the world to get feedback your products. In addition to guided exploratory testing, you can have testers build and/or execute specific test scenarios. This is excellent for when you have not automated your testing yet but need a way to get fast feedback on your regression testing. What do you dislike about Applause?

The platform you use to manage the process could use more polish. The system you use to communicate with the testers desperately needs a mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Applause solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have used Applause for very different problems to solve, but they all center around a central theme. I needed a force multiplier that could scale as needed. Applause quickly filled this need. I have used Applause for both front of house and back of house systems with positive results. The back of house system can be extremely complex, and I was doubtful as to whether or not the testing would be useful. Applause partnered with us for a good training program to get the testers up to speed. Within just a few days we received valuable feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
