I like how easy it is to use Appcast. All I have to do is enter the dollar amount to boost a requisition, and it takes care of the rest, saving me a lot of time. I also appreciate that it opens up access to channels I typically wouldn't have on my own, significantly boosting my candidate pool overnight in many cases. Additionally, analyzing the ROI on my spend and sending the information to management was made easy by the metrics available in the dashboard. Overall, Appcast saves me time and has been a lifesaver at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've had times where I've put a $400 boost on a requisition, and it did virtually nothing. I got a few applications, but they weren't qualified. It's hard to weed out the right candidates because all it does is bring people in without any analysis. Sometimes, I wonder if I've done something wrong or if there's better guidance out there on how much to budget. I tried to find more information and had to do some manual research on past requisitions. It would be helpful to have official guidance from Appcast on ROI for boosting jobs, instead of relying on potentially skewed data. It feels like it sometimes misses the mark.
