Clients were able to figure out how to open it and give me the support number with relative ease. The branding options are nice. **What do you dislike about AnyDesk?** Biggest "con" has been in dealing with the company. I used a paid version of the software for a year. I enjoyed it, but when it came time for my renewal I figured I would see what else was out there - always with the plan to come back to AnyDesk if I didn't like alternatives. That is where AnyDesk's true colors came out. First, there is no autopay (or at least none that was set up). So when they sent me an invoice at renewal time I had figured, my account would auto cancel if I didn't pay for it (this was my misunderstanding and I own up to that part). I stopped using the software as I started using another and had a 40 Day window that I could get a refund on that. I then received a billing email from AnyDesk with the line to contact their billing department at billing@anydesk.com if I had any questions. I sent them an email explaining that I was trying a different software and to please cancel my account. I heard nothing back. a few weeks go by and I get another billing email, so I sent them another message. Nothing. Another email comes, so at this point I am a little ticked, so I send another message stating I have asked them twice to cancel my account and to please stop harassing me. Then I get a letter in the mail saying they were going to put me into collections if I didn't pay. Since they do not have a direct line to their billing department, I called their sales department and was told to make a ticket. Eventually (now months after my initial email) I got a response telling me that because I didn't let them know 3 MONTHS prior to the renewal date that I wanted to cancel that I had to pay the bill and couldn't cancel until the following year! I asked them to be flexible since I had waited forever for them to actually respond to me (never were my billing@anydesk.com emails ever directly responded to). A week or two later I would get a response back basically saying nope - I owe them money. They new I wasn't using the software for the months of trying to get them to answer and clarification. Instead of showing some sense of flexibility with their lack of response (which if I heard back from them in time would have given me time to cancel my other software and pay them and use their software). As a customer, they want me to be fine with them taking an unreasonably long time to respond to billing questions, yet as a company they are incredibly rigid and not willing to show any flexibility with customers - especially as we try and come out of a pandemic! While it is in their terms and conditions, requiring 3 months notice to cancel a renewal prior to the renewal date to me is incredibly unreasonable. Who is thinking 3 months before you have a renewal if you will renew or not? To me this is a policy to purposefully trap customers. **Recommendations to others considering AnyDesk:** If you never have a need to get support from them and can predict 3 months prior to your renewal date that you want to cancel, then go for it...if not, stay away. It is free open-source software and is available for multiple operating systems. It is very small and easy to install. It has a very simple process to connect multiple desktops from anywhere and use them simultaneously. It is very easy and convenient to use. It has a very good interface. It can be used for files transfer, the audio transfer also without any problem. It doesn't require ID, Passwords like other applications. **What do you dislike about AnyDesk?** I didn't face any big issues and it does not have also. Sometimes it lags due to the internet connectivity and sometimes it doesn't sink properly so It requires good internet connectivity in short. You may face some errors while transferring big files sometimes. **What problems is AnyDesk solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have solved many problems using Anydesk. While coding anytime I am not able to solve the errors, my seniors connect my desktop using Anydesk and they help me to figure out the errors and solve them. It is very secure and it doesn't give unnecessary alerts, notifactions. ### 48. One of The Best Remote Software **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022 **What do you like best about AnyDesk?** Experience with any desk is great and I used it occasionally which helps very much in case of remote support. moreover, the click to run option help very much to get the sessions on the remote side as the user does not have administrator privileges and it can run without any rights so any desk can be used on run time. access should be restricted by default. **What do you dislike about AnyDesk?** Files transfer is slow so you have to go for another options of cloud-like one drive, google drive etc. When you get the remote from any desk, by default you get full access so you have to go for restrictions. one more feature can be added, the highlighter so when the support person does not want the control but just to highlight the option. **Recommendations to others considering AnyDesk:** You can use it free of cost with limited options and easy to run so for remote it is the best in my opinion as no installation is required. **What problems is AnyDesk solving and how is that benefiting you?** The best feature of any deck so far is that you can just download and run it and then start using it. No need to install admin rights for this which makes life easier and also convenient. It helps in the case of a lockdown and as well as for the remote users. The unattended session is also a useful feature that I like most because it could be a substitute for a VPN in case of emergency but of course, it is not recommended as something should be done only on a need basis. communication is a key part during remote sessions, Any desk has chat and call options which help in communication. ### 49. For I can easily provide technical support to my clients at any point in time quickly and effortlessly. Hence, troubleshooting has become super easy. 2) The time to install the software and to get a hang of it is negligible. You can simply install and start using it within 5-10 mins. 3) Last but not least it allows multiple devices and platforms which is a huge relief. **What do you dislike about AnyDesk?** I am using this platform for the past 2 years now and haven't found much difficulty or issues while using it apart from the fact that it lags a lot at times (which might be due to the requirement of a consistent network) hence resolving the queries becomes time-consuming. Also, on an auto resolution, I face screen resolution issues. **Recommendations to others considering AnyDesk:** This is one of the best softwares for quick and easy remote access. If you are considering it then I'd say certainly go for it. **What problems is AnyDesk solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems I am solving via Anydesk are Easy and fast technical support to my clients, remote access to any device at a given time, multiple platforms that can be accessed.
