You can do CAD cleanup, meshing, model setup, and connections all in one environment. It can handle messy CAD data. Advanced meshing controls like the control over mesh size, quality, and type (tet, hex, prism, shell, etc.) is excellent. It allows python based scripting for automation of repetitive tasks which is a big time saver for large models. Works seamlessly with Fluent, STAR-CCM+, PowerFLOW, NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, and many others. Not more dislikes about ansa. But few are there in list. Licence is quite expensive for small companies and freelancers.
