"AnimateCaptions: Fast Auto-Captions, Word-by-Word Styling & Upload-Based Pricing"

5/5

What do you like best about AnimateCaptions?

AnimateCaptions is the tool I found that focuses on one thing—automatic captions—and it does that really well. Compared with other video editors, it gives you word-by-word customisation for styling. I loved the presets and how easy it is to edit my transcription when needed, or to create a branded preset theme for the subtitles on my social media videos that I post on TikTok. What I wasn’t happy with was CapCut’s and Submagic’s pricing and their credit systems; AnimateCaptions’ pricing, which is based on video uploads rather than minutes, actually works much better for me.

Also rendering was super fast and never failed for me so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AnimateCaptions?

My main complaint is that there isn't an option to use a second font family for my captions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AnimateCaptions solving and how is that benefiting you?

I post on TikTok and Instagram daily as a creator, and full video editors are often too slow to produce a project and burn subtitles into the files. When I batch-create and post videos, I wanted a tool that simply adds animated captions without opening a heavy editor on my laptop. AnimateCaptions does exactly that: it solved my performance problem and saved me from paying a subscription to bigger names like CapCut. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
